Just realized that I hadn't had waffles in AGES😱 decided to change that and make some this morning😁 it was a good decision😂 • I'm one of those people who finds themself eating the same foods all. the. time😕. like I'll literally have the same thing for lunch for a solid month, and only stop eating it when I realise how absolutely BORED I am of eating that food. Ive been trying to mix it up lately and eat different foods, and I've been really liking it😊 are you like me, and tend to eat the same foods over and over, or are you always mixing up your foods, and eating different things and combinations daily❓ • Breakfast deats: pumpkin spice mini waffles (recipe below) , vanilla yogurt (yogurt mixed with vanilla and stevia), chocolate pumpkin freezer slice (recipe under "choc slice" in my highlights), chocolate sauce (mix 1 tsp each cacao powder, coconut flour, and sweetner then add coconut milk until desired consistency is reached), and almond and coconut puff muesli (recipe 4 posts back from this one) 😋 • Pumpkin spice mini waffles: In a blender add 2 eggs, 30g boiled pumpkin (I boil mine in big batches then freeze it), 2T coconut flour, 1 tsp physillium husk, 2 tsp sweetener (coconut sugar, maple syrup, ect), 1/4 tsp baking powder, a pinch of salt, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, 1/16 tsp ginger. Blend everything together. Heat your waffle iron (or they can be made into pancakes on a nonstick pan) and grease with a little butter. If your waffle mix is to thick add about 1 T milk. Scoop small amounts of the mix into the waffle iron and cook until golden. Enjoy😊😝 #jemshealthyrecipes

Eating clean doesn’t mean not eating your favourite foods. My favourite breakfast is a stack of chocolate pancakes, but how am I supposed to eat clean when I want to demolish a stack of carb rich, high fat pancakes? 🤔...substitutions (Recipe below ⬇️.) You can still eat your favourite foods but sometimes you may need to substitute certain ingredients for healthier alternatives. For example: Swap butter for coconut oil, replace sour cream with greek yogurt, replace milk with nut milks, swap milk chocolate for 70% Dark chocolate. These may only be small changes but they’ll make a huge difference to your diet. 👍🏻 Message me if you need any advise on food substitutions. . . Pancake recipe: 1 banana 1 large egg 1 scoop protein powder (I use Vega plant based chocolate powder) 25g rolled oats 1 teaspoon coconut oil . . Mix all ingredients into a blender except the oil. Melt the oil over a medium heat in a pan. Pour a spoonful of the mix onto the pan and cook on either side for approx 2 mins. Then add your desired toppings. 😋 . . They’re full of protein which stabilises blood sugar levels, prevents hunger for a number of hours and are a great alternative to high fat, high carb pancakes. - If you don’t have protein powder swap this for Greek yogurt, raw cocoa and a splash of almond milk.

Now remember when choosing what to #eat throughout the day, everything you put in your mouth is either causing inflammation or reducing it. If you are compromised, you definitely don’t want to be causing #inflammation, you know I mean?
