Learning self care in so many ways! I had a great call with my coach, @irreverenthealth this evening and love how she got me to see that my choice of words will affect how I feel about things! How changing one word when telling myself something truly impacts my thoughts and feelings. Like when saying “I HAVE to...” I subconsciously create a stressful feeling that is associated with “having to” verse saying “I’m going to” I immediately accept what I am going to do and don’t feel the associated stress with it. I know. I know. Keep scrolling if my progress pics annoy you. 😜 But you guys?!?! March 11th ⬅️ and Today ➡️ I’m not telling you the scale difference because I’ve spent years not giving AF about the number, which I’m sure you know by now. I’ve also spent years asking women to take the uncomfortable pictures (like this) and to focus on how they FEEL and how their clothes fit. The last 2 weeks I’ve been disciplined and focused so I can share how important nutrition truly is. Sure, I’ve been working out once a day for 30-45 minutes, except for Sunday when I sloth. 😜 But I’ve always known that nutrition is Queen/King and you can’t outrun your fork.🍴 Helping women live a happier, healthier and fulfilled life is my job. So I share uncomfortable pictures like this a lot. 😊 I do it because a picture is sometimes worth a thousand words. And while my 2 week results might not be as drastic as some would want, these pictures show progress. Progress is something we want so quickly these days, am I right? Goodness knows I’m sick AF reading about quick fixes, teas, shakes or pills that will make you skinny and/or burn fat. I mean, please don’t fall for that bs, you’re smarter than that. 😘 You already know the answer...eat like you give AF. I also think shifting your mindset is huge, but I’ll save that for another post. Excited to see what changes week three brings. And I’m SUPER excited for the women that started day 1 with me today. They are the reason I’ll always share pictures like this. 😊 I’m here to help if you need it. I know I would have loved the support when I weighed over 200 pounds and went from quick fix to quick fix.

DESAYUNO VERDE: Patatas, hueco, aguacate y espinaca 🥑🥬🍳🥔 INGREDIENTES: - 2 patatas dulces, cortadas en longitud de cuña. - Espinaca - 2 huevos - 1 aguacate hass PREPARACIÓN: Para las patatas debes precalentar tu horno a 425 grados. En un bowl grande debes mezclar las patatas cortadas, con romero y con aceite de oliva. Unta un poco de aceite a una bandeja y déjala sola en el horno durante 5 minutos mientras se calienta. Una vez esté caliente debes añadir las patatas, coloca papel pergamino sobre ellas y rocíalas con sal. Debes dejarlas alrededor de 15 minutos en el horno, voltearlas y dejarlas 15 minutos más para que se doren uniformemente. Para los huevos, debes calentar un sartén con aceite de oliva y dejar los huecos durante 3 minutos a fuego alto. Y rocíalos con sal hasta que queden a tu gusto.
