Why Dairy Free?-you can save with the bookmark ☝🏼to read later. . At 1st, this started because I would get horrible stomach pains & my stomach would blow up like a balloon. I had no idea what was causing it. I even went to an allergist, & she pretty much told me that technically there really isn't such thing as "allergic to dairy" for an adult. But she also explained that Milk is not same as it was years ago and it does not sit well with most adults and they don't even know it. . Then I decided to do a 21 day detox (which may I add I lost 11.5lbs) And that's when I realize it was dairy. Then of course, the nerd in me started researching & watching documentaries (addicting) & I was like omg they are right! . We are the only specie that drinks milk from another specie! 🤔You don't see a pig drinking from a cow righ? Also, no matter if the milk is "hormone free" a cow is still a female aka hormone galore- believe me I know LOL . I then went thru a vegan phase that I just couldn't keep up & I got my husband sick 🤢 like stomach pain/doctor visit-sick LOL. . I'm definitely not vegan or 100% dairy free- like I could ever give up pizza. But for the most part I stay away from it. It doesn’t make me feel good, it bloats me up & other details you don't want to know. 🙌🏼I also noticed that my joints were a lot less swollen and my face cleared up. . If you are having stomach issues, I highly recommend looking into it and doing a process of elimination. Not all eating lifestyles are equal to everyone, find what's healthy and what works for you & your body. . PROTEIN PANCAKES RECIPE 😍😍 __ Here is a very quick and very easy protein pancake recipe, only has 4 ingredients!!👌 __ I have also included a Total 0% yoghurt topping to make it even nicer and more filling💪 __ Ingredients for the pancakes: - 60g protein powder - 1 medium egg - Teaspoon of baking powder - 150ml water Instructions: - Put the protein powder, egg and baking powder in to a bowl and slowly add the water stirring it until you have the consistency of pancake mix - Put 1Cal spray in to a pan and heat. - Put 2-3 spoonfuls of the mix in to the pan and spread out - Once it starts bubbling on top flip the pancakes over and cook for a few minutes, until it’s browned __ Ingredients for topping: - 100g total 0% yoghurt - 30g protein powder Instructions: - Mix the protein powder with a small amount of water to make a paste - Add the protein paste and yoghurt to a bowl and mix together __ Add the topping to each pancake and enjoy!!!😍😍 __

Made this with leftover baked salsa chicken thigh that I kept in a freezer from 2 weeks ago. First time using toasted brioche as burger buns and they went surprisingly well with the chicken. I don’t usually plan my dinner, most of time is spur of the moment kinda thing, see whatever I can grab from the supermarkets & what’s leftover in the fridge. ◽️ I thawed the leftover chicken in the fridge overnight then heated it up in a hot pan with some oil till the skin crisped up & meat was heated through before using it for the burgers. ◽️ There isn’t much of a recipe to share actually. I marinated the chicken thighs overnight with some leftover tomato salsa. I then brown them over the stove before sending them to a 200C oven to finish off the cooking. Afterward I just kept the leftover piece in the freezer.

Good morniiiiiing!! 💗 What are you having for brekki today? 😍 I haven't had oats in probably over 7 months. The main reason I stopped eating them was because I started eating more protein & fat rich breakfasts. That switch helped me stay fuller and incorporate blood sugar balancing macronutrients. Oats, even tho they are a good food may spike our blood sugar and leave us with more cravings later in a day. Since going #glutenfree oats definitely became history, however, I started craving them yesterday. Most likely because I only got 4 hours of sleep the night before, was exhausted and my body was giving me hints. So last night I whipped up some overnight oats by mixing the right ingredients to balance things out: 1 cup gluten free oats 1.5 cup Macadamia milk 1/2 mashed banana 1 tsp cinnamon 2 servings Collagen peptides Topped with some caco nibs, walnuts, coconut shreds and nut butter. Really enjoying experimenting with facial expressions for these pics 😂 It’s very entertaining for onlookers too 🙄 - I’ve definitely experienced the left in the past – after I’d eat something ‘sinful’ or eat more than I intended to, I’d make an effort to restrict my next meal and deny my hunger 🙅🏼‍♀️ This backfired big time and perpetuated the restrict/binge cycle, where I bounced back and forth between hangry and stuffed, with a side of guilt! 🤦🏼‍♀️ - When you deny your hunger and push into the territory of hangry/starving, you put yourself at risk of overeating 🤷🏼‍♀️ Hunger is incredibly powerful and shouldn’t be underestimated... it’ll win when pitted against ‘willpower’! 🏆 - If you struggle with the restrict/binge seesaw, honoring your hunger is a great place to start 👌🏼

“Sorry, we only sell caviar during the holiday season.” *Find a store that sells this delicious delicacy year round* • • Recipe: Roast 3-6 eggplant in the oven at 410 degrees for one hour! Let sit once finished. Finely chop an entire onion (try not to cry or where big sunglasses to protect the acidic lachrymatory chemical from easily being transported to your eyes). Throw slices of bread in the oven for 15-20 min! Sauté the onion in some olive oil on medium heat. Once thoroughly cooked, add some chopped garlic, 2 tbsp tomato paste, and S&P. After 3-5 minutes, let this sit in the pan with the heat turned off. Next, cut your eggplant down the middle (the long way) and scoop out the goods, leaving the skin. Put this mushy looking yumminess in a bowl with your onion mixture. Top with some fine caviar and serve with your toasted bread. FYI, this recipe is an easier one and is a 10/10
