Follow @clairefit_ 💜 Pyramid Workout (so people wont get confused, I've also put pictures of the secondary muscles being used, ex: on rear flys the primary muscle is the rear felt but your upper back is still being worked out. With different arm placement you can put more emphasis on your upper back as shown in the video) - [SWIPE left, like❤, and dont forget to save because it really helps me out] - A pyramid workout can be done several ways. For this workout you start out with light weights and high reps. This gives your muscles an endurance workout, activating mostly slow-twitch muscle fibers. As you gradually move up the pyramid, the weight  becomes heavier and the reps are lowered. Doing this will help you build strength which helps burns more fat - 💕Tips for this workout💕: - ◻2-3 sets of 12, 10, 8, 20 reps for each exercise ◻start at a weigh you can first do with 12 reps, then select another weight you can perform immediately after for 10 reps, and so on ◻there isnt a rest between the reps (if you must take a rest no more than 30secs) ◻1 set will equal 50 reps=12+10+8+20 ◻rest 2-3mins between each set - Song: Revolution @diplo @gymglutes @gymgirlvids @gymalpha @gymresident @gymaesthetic @gymtears @gainzvillle @fitgirlvideos @fitfemalevideos @fitfemalesclub#glute

What type of training do you do? ⠀ I love powerful and explosive movements. I love getting my heart rate high. I love feeling like I can’t breathe and that I need to stop. I love feeling like I wish I hadn’t done this workout while I’m halfway through. And I love not having a programme to follow every day. ⠀ The thing is the way I train and move my body won’t necessarily be the way you like to train. Maybe you go for 5 or 10km run. Maybe you go to the pool and do lengths. Maybe you do powerlifting. Maybe it’s sprinting or it’s surfing, kayaking or paddle boarding. Maybe it’s skateboarding or good old fashioned walking. And maybe you need a programme because you need structure, or maybe you’re like me and have some knowledge on how to create your own workouts and now I just choose what workout I’ll do on the day. ⠀ Regardless, the way you move your body really doesn’t really matter. What matters is the way it makes you feel. How do you feel before? Are you getting anxiety so bad that you end up leaving or making excuses as to why you can’t go? Because that was me when I was purely lifting weights. I was so focussed on hitting a number on the squat rack that I didn’t even enjoy squats anymore. And squats at the time had been my favourite exercise. And how is making you feel afterwards? Are you proud of your performance? Are you in a happy “fuck yeah!” mood? Or are you down and upset at yourself? ⠀ If the way you move your body isn’t making you feel good both before and after, you haven’t found the right way to move your body. So keep searching because it’s out there. Maybe it’s team sport? Maybe it’s hiking. Maybe it’s mountain biking or cycling. Maybe it’s yoga, or tennis or snowboarding. What ever it is, find it. Because once you’ve found it, you’ll feel a shit tonne better about moving your body, because now your mind has changed movement from being something that you force yourself to do, into something you wake up ready to chase. ⠀ If you want to read my thoughts on motivation, go read “two thousand and eighteen” on my blog.
