I ❤️ HIIT! I do a series of several different workouts to get my heart rate up which I track via #applewatch . I try to cycle through different workouts every month to target different muscle groups. I’m not a creative person so I get great ideas from @hiittrainer and from #streaksworkoutapp with visuals so I can watch my form! HAPPY HIIT DAY! New workouts for you to try!! I know the lighting is pretty bad and all the workouts are spread throughout quickly but bear with me! Like every HIIT workouts I do I go 30 secs on 30 secs off for each workout! 1️⃣ first Interval is Half Burpee with Ball then Squat Jump Jacks! 2️⃣ 2nd Interval is Plank Elbow Floor Touches then Squat Floor Touches 3️⃣ 3rd Interval is Tetter Totter Planks with the bosu ball then Bridge to Plank Shoulder Taps 4️⃣ 4th Interval is Ball to Knee Crunches. Make sure to do 30 secs for each leg! 5️⃣ 5th and final Interval is Ball Under Knees Circle then onto Bench Ball Hop Overs! With the hop overs you can do this with just about anything! 🌟 MY CHALLENGE GOALS 🌟 I thought since Friday is my rest day, I’d post something a little different each week since I’m not posting a workout, like a weekly review and goal setting? I had my first body scan yesterday so I thought now would be a good time to set myself some goals! 1️⃣ Decrease body weight 6kg 2️⃣ Decrease body fat 5% - I’m actually not sure what’s possible (but I guess I can always reassess after the halfway scan!) but I’d love to see it below 20 so I thought this was a good goal. 3️⃣ 50 F45 sessions in the 8 weeks - this is the one I’m most excited for!! With a rest day each week (and probably a couple more with the birthday madness next month and allowing for sick days/emergencies) I’ll be doing a few doubles which makes me nervous but also pretty excited 🙈👊🏻 Wow having numerical goals makes this feel pretty REAL 😆 Not long to go in week 1! #f45challenge #goals #fitnessgoals #fitnesschallenge

Cardio ✅ hehe. So today is rest day for me 😔 and I’ve been so jealous of all you other challengers getting your Foxtrot groove on (it was the first class I ever went to and is still my absolute favourite). It’s not my choice but I don’t have any babysitting available today so Mum life comes first 👩‍👦 We set off to the shops after breakfast to get things for the next few days and LO fell asleep, so I thought, since I’m in my sneakers anyway why don’t I jog back? It’s about 2km back to our place and I was pushing a 13kg pram + 10kg toddler + a good 10kg shopping, and jogged most of the way with a few short power walk breaks - totally counts as HIIT yes? 😅 #f45challenge #day5
