I told myself I would walk to the gym and then flip flopped with driving myself or actually staying true to my word and walking. . . I contemplated for about 10 min and decided it was time to get moving before I decided to not move at all! I kept true to myself and walked! I knew I wasn't going to regret it. So I got about 40 minutes of walking and a full hour of cardio. I was able to burn 530 calories just on the elliptical. No idea how much I burn when I walk! . . I felt super accomplished today! 22/07/19 Tullamore House Workout 🏋️‍♀️ A bit late, well, very late to post this workout from yesterday. This is mainly down to the fact that I haven’t been home in almost a month and was having a really lovely evening enjoying beers, wine and food with my parents and chatting for hours! Travel home was long but easy. 2 flights and a bus ride and I was back in my lovely town of Tullamore. Didn’t go to my own house as I was wrecked and just wanted to chill and catch up with my folx. Also didn’t want to do any training because I was catching up. So right before my drunken, food filled body lay down in bed, I got on the bathroom floor and did 5 minutes of a solid static plank. That’s it. Not much of a workout but still got 5 minutes in and that’s all that’s important. There were unfortunately no photos taken apart from these 😂 Just home... No gym... No equipment... Summer nights are special. Taking advantage of the evening heat and cooling breeze.... AND this incredible backyard (😍!!) with a quick interval workout followed by a run around the block. Jumping rope is a great interval to add in for coordination and cardio. I get creative and try new moves and rhythms. Keeps me from getting bored! Seriously in love with this backyard though. My partner created it all by hand with his dear friend! I’ve put on some finishing touches (a few flowers) but goodness me this is a labor of love! Going to be nearly impossible to leave in a few weeks.

Beetroot face as a result of HIIT and not days ☀️ The recent (and rare🙄) nice weather we’re having has put going to the gym pretty low down on the list of things I’ve wanted to do🙈 ... but with me being very aware that I’ve let my workouts, and therefore fitness levels, slip.. it got to this evening when I decided to put myself through a HIIT workout in the garden. What. A. Struggle. Definitely overestimated what I thought I’d be able to do😅 but the big thing for me was getting through it. Technically you should do it with a partner but if you haven’t got one time your Ski’s/Bike/Rows and hold the kettlebells for as long as the 300m takes you. - PARTNER 1 - 300m SPRINT(SKI/BIKE/ROW) PARTNER 2 - Hold 2 kettlebells in the front ‘rack’ position. - Swap places with your partner, then repeat until you have done 2/3 sprints and same for holds.

30 minute HIIT on the treadmill! (Español abajo 👇) To conquer boredom and because it's a really effective calorie burning workout , I love HIIT training. Choose a starting speed that is comfortable but challenging and increase it by 0.1 every minute. For the second round start at the speed you did on minute 1-2. And keep doing that for the following rounds. Here is a 30 minute HIIT: Do 6 rounds to complete 30 minutes. 0-1: Speed 6.0 ( This is what I did) 1-2: 6.1 2-3: 6.2 3-4: 6.3 4-5: Rest. You can walk slow for the minute. Feel free to save, share and tag a friend!
