It is only when they connect to their own divine and truly understand the path of compassion and love that they can guide their followers to look within and be inspired to embrace the divine within themselves. Today, we invite you to take a few moments to hear how the divine speaks with you. Be aware of the compassion you feel when you see someone struggling with something and how it inspires you to help with an act of love. Be aware of the joy that rises within you and how it encourages you to engage in what you are passionate about and the way you feel because of it. I ate my first strawberry in a YEAR today!!! I’ve had systemic candida for most of the last year. Since candida loves sugar, this means no fruit of any kind. Strawberries are my favorite food so this has been a challenge to say the least. Today my family and I went strawberry picking at a local organic farm. I hadn’t planned on eating any of the strawberries but I also didn’t plan on them looking so dang good either. I mean, the field smelled like sugar and strawberries. Instead of crying into fresh picked berries, I just ate one. Actually, I ate three. The last time I ate fruit I ended up with a fever and in bed for three days. So I don’t take this decision lightly. However I’m currently on medication for my candida, I’ve been feeling well and I was standing in a field of organic strawberries during the peak of the season with my family. If there was any time that I were going to ‘cheat’ today was the day. By the way, the strawberries were delicious. Totally worth it. And no reactions so far! ✨Happy Saturday ✨ . This place in Laguna Beach called Banzai Bowls makes the BEST AÇAÍ BOWLS EVER. (My husbands words and you all know he is picky😂) . My girls + I shared the Maui Sunrise. It was a blend of coconut milk, pineapple juice, acai, bananas, strawberries and mango. Then topped with gf granola, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, coconut shreds and honey. My husband enjoyed the Da Kine, he loves his peanut butter. My girls and hubby have a sweet tooth and this was the perfect way to satisfy it. . It was a great start to our weekend! Deviled Eggs! Had a craving for these babies! 💥One egg has an average of 6 grams of protein depending on it's size. 💓Easy peasy! 🤗 Spicey Deviled Eggs 1. Boil 6 eggs for 12 minutes. Count from the time the water begins to boil. 2. Remove from heat. Drain water off and replace with cold water. Let cool 5 min. 3. Peel eggs. Cut them in half. Scoop out egg yolks into a small bowl. 💢Optional: Line a tray with fresh greens. Place empty halves of eggs onto lettuce. Then fill. 4. Prepare the filling as follows: Mash egg yolks in a small bowl. Add: 1/2 tsp powdered mustard 1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp paprika 2 tbsp miracle whip or dressing of your choice 5. Mix together. 6. Fill up egg halves with mixture. 7. Sprinkle with more paprika. 8. 🌸/blo͞om/•“come into or be in full beauty or health” * A few posts ago I showed a picture of myself with a painful acne breakout that occurred a few months after going off birth control. In the past I would literally try every topical product on the market. Ive spent thousands of dollars on creams, serums, acne washes and scrubs. Most products only made my skin more red and angry! During this time I was in my first year of school and was really starting to understand that clear skin started from within. I made the connection that going off birth control had triggered this, and that my liver was probably super congested with lots of artificial hormones, toxins and chemicals. Found some decent lighting in the living room and the PB and dusted cacao looked mega!! My 200th post! Wow… it is a milestone! Thanks to all of you who have followed me, liked my posts, asked Qs and shared suggestion! There is so much to say.. so much to learn… and I’m excited for it all! So, I wanted to make this post about something that is really special. One Q has come in front of me few times in last few days, and I think that is quite fundamental. The Q is.. how do I get started eating healthy? What do I do?... The intent is obvious, all the information is overwhelming… tell me one thing I can start doing that brings me the most value! Therefore this post is my recommendation on the one thing you can do to start your health journey. Eating vegetables, eating healthy fats and cutting carbs is the best way to start! So, this preparation is what I suggest you start with. Make this one meal, the major meal of your day! This is what I eat nowadays pretty much everyday. The preparation is simple and I made a post about this earlier as well. Use a pressure cooker to cook bunch of veggies… on a bed of greens, add all the vegetables you have… broccoli, Brussel sprouts, bell peppers, mushrooms, zucchini… the list goes on! Add half an onion, some crushed garlic, pink salt and couple cups of bone broth. Let the vegetables cook for 2-3 whistles. Separately, prepare tadka with desi ghee, onion, ginger, garlic, spices, tomatoes… Add the tadka to the cooked vegetables. Blend the cooked vegetables and the tadka. Add panner (indian cheese), or grilled meats.. lime juice and some garam masala. Finally, add fresh cream and your preparation is ready! It is delicious!!! You can prepare tadka differently to get different flavours. Plus, you can eat the stew with some yogurt, guacamole and may be some hot sauce (or pickle) When I prepare this, I generally end up with 4-5 servings. The time it takes to prepare is hardly anything, I get tons of fibre, I love the taste of it and end with multiple servings! For the ultimate test I had my 10 year old eat this for dinner today, with some yogurt. He finished it.. his verdict.. “It is little bit yummy”.. I will take that! Wish you health and happiness!

Work on one change at a time. If you mess up, brush it off and start again, immediately, not next Monday or next month. Eventually those times will happen less often because you will be more aware. Potato Bhaji for Poori 🍲😋⁣ This is a top favored dish ⁣in my South Indian cuisine, made with boiled, crumbled potatoes in a mild, flavorful gravy. It is usually served with pooris or dosa.⁣ ⁣ Easy - whole - Vegan ⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣ 🔸5 potatoes ( boiled and mashed well )⁣ 🔸3 tsp oil⁣ 🔸1 tsp mustard⁣ 🔸1 tsp chana dal⁣ 🔸½ tsp cumin ⁣ 🔸1 tsp urad dal⁣ 🔸a pinch asafoetida⁣ 🔸few curry leaves⁣ 🔸1 chilli, slit⁣ 🔸1 inch ginger, finely chopped⁣ 🔸1 onion, sliced⁣ 🔸¼ tsp turmeric⁣ 🔸 salt to taste⁣ 🔸1¼ cup water⁣ ⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣ 1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, chana dal, cumin,  urad dal, asafoetida , few curry leaves, chilli and ginger.⁣ 2. Sauté on medium flame.⁣ 3. Once the mustard splutters, add the onions and turmeric and mix well. Do not allow the onions to caramelize.⁣ 4. After a few mins, add 1 cup water and cook for 10 minutes or until the onions are tender.⁣ 5. Now add the mashed potatoes and salt.⁣ 6. After 10 minutes the potato masal will thicken, so adjust consistency by adding more water if needed.⁣ 7. These have been one of my household’s favourite go-to meal !🍽😋⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Dosa is a simple , easy to make , appetizing and nutritious dish. It’s a fermented, low carb-high protein food, packed with fiber and natural probiotics. And what’s more , it’s VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE as well 😋🍛⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Dosa is one such food item that’s extremely appetizing and relatively light, made from rice , lentils and other spices , adding low calories in your body. It's a healthy choice to overcome obesity.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ A properly made crisp and savory Indian dosa is fairly simple to make, with this caveat: after grinding, the batter must be fermented overnight or for at least 8 hours for the correct texture and requisite sour flavor. Pressure cook 1 cup of moong dal with 4 cups of water for 20 mins.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and saute onions till they turn golden brown.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 3. Add crushed garlic , ginger, chopped tomatoes ,red chilli powder , turmeric and coriander powder and fry without burning the spices.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 4. Now add in cooked daal and mix well ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 5. Add salt to taste.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 6. Adjust the consistency by adding required water.⁣⁣⁣⁣ 7. Lunch box recipe: Vegan Schezwan Fried Rice🍲🍽😋⁣⁣ This schezwan fried rice is quick and easy to make, customizable with any of your favorite mix-ins, and  so irresistibly delicious. It only takes 15 minutes to make, it’s easy to customize with your favorite add-ins, and it’s SO flavorful and delicious!⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣ It’s Vegan and gluten-free and is flavored with my special spicy homemade schezwan sauce. Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣🥣⁣ 🔸2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil⁣⁣ 🔸1 teaspoon chopped Garlic⁣⁣ 🔸1 1/2 cups finely diced Vegetables (mushroom, beans, carrots, corn, peas)⁣ 🔸3 cups basmati Rice ⁣⁣ 🔸3 tbsp homemade Schezwan sauce⁣⁣ 🔸1 tbsp Soy Sauce⁣⁣ 🔸Salt and Pepper to taste⁣⁣ 🔸Diced Green Onions and Sesame Seeds for topping⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣⁣ 1. Heat a wok or frying pan, and once the pan is really hot, add oil, garlic and celery to it. Cook for about 30 seconds and add the vegetables.⁣⁣ 2. Stir fry the vegetables on high heat for two to three minutes and add schezwan sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper to the pan. Mix well, and add the rice.⁣⁣ 3. Toss the rice to coat with the sauce, and stir around for another two minutes. The rice might char at the bottom of the pan which is okay but keep the heat high. Switch off the flame, and serve hot topped with green onions and sesame seeds.⁣⁣ 4. This Chia Pudding looks like from outer space and your kids will love it!! 💙⁣⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS :⁣⁣ 🔹1 cup water⁣⁣ 🔹3 bags butterfly pea flower tea⁣⁣ 🔹2.5 tbsp white chia seeds⁣⁣ 🔹1/2 cup soy yogurt⁣⁣ 🔹1 banana⁣ 🔹2 tbsp honey⁣⁣ 🔹4 tbsp blueberries fresh or defrosted⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS :⁣⁣ 1. Bring water to the boil and add 1 bags Butterfly Pea Flower Tea. Let brew for 10 minutes. Then remove tea bag, squeezing it slightly. Add 1 tbsp honey and allow to cool.⁣⁣ 2. Mix chia seeds with the blue tea and mix vigourously for 60 seconds. Allow to rest for at least two hour, stirring once in a while.⁣⁣ 3. These have been one of my household’s favourite go-to meal !🍽😋⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ Dosa is a simple , easy to make , appetizing and nutritious dish. It’s a fermented low carb-high protein food, packed with fiber and natural probiotics. And what’s more , it’s VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE as well 😋🍛⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Dosa is one such food item which is extremely appetizing and relatively light, made from rice , lentils and other spices , adding low calories in your body. It's a healthy choice to overcome obesity.⁣ ⁣⁣ A properly made crisp and savory Indian dosa is fairly simple to make, with this caveat: the batter must be fermented overnight for the correct texture and requisite sour flavor. Asking yourself how I can be better than I was yesterday is far more productive than comparing yourself to others - I know because I’m human and I've been in both places. This is true for any area of your life- personal or professional.⁣ ⁣ Benchmarking yourself against others means you’re setting yourself up for 1 of 2 outcomes:⁣ ⁣ 1.Defeat - if you cannot achieve the same level of success.⁣ OR⁣ 2.Unfulfillment / Emptiness - when you do achieve the same level of success and wonder “is this it?” and “where to next ?”⁣ ⁣ The goal is never to be better than others, but to be better than YOU were yesterday. This can be applied to growing YOUR way.⁣ ⁣ Happiness is found when you stop comparing yourself to other people. Self confidence is not measured by your own capabilities versus that of others ,but by your own NEEDS.⁣ ⁣ So be yourself and dont compare your life to others. There is no comparison between the sun and the moon. Homemade Vegan Naan: Even if you’ve never made bread at home before, this soft, chewy flatbread is easy to make and well worth the effort.⁣⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻2 cups all purpose flour⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻3 teaspoons sugar, divided⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻1 teaspoon instant dry yeast⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻1 teaspoon salt⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻3 tablespoons coconut cream⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔻2 tablespoons melted almond butter⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS :⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of the sugar with 3/4 cup warm water. Let it sit until frothy, about 10 minutes.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, whisk together the remaining 2 teaspoons of sugar, flour and salt.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 3. Once the yeast is frothy, add the coconut cream to it and whisk to combine. Pour the cream mixture into the dry ingredients and mix the dough together with a fork. When the dough is about to come together, dust your hand with flour and knead gently into a soft, slightly sticky dough.⁣⁣ 4.Transfer the dough to a bowl and cover with a damp kitchen towel. Let sit in a warm place for 1.5 to 3 hours, or until about doubled in size.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 5. Shape the dough into a long rectangle and cut into 6 equal portions.⁣⁣ 6. Warm a large cast iron or heavy nonstick pan over medium-high heat.⁣⁣ 7. Using a rolling pin, roll one of the dough balls into an oval shape.⁣⁣ 8. Gently lay the dough in the dry skillet and cook until the top is bursting with air bubbles and is golden and blackened in spots. The main ingredients to make poori are wheat flour, oil and water.⁣ And what’s more , it’s vegan , delightfully delicious and quite easy to make!😊⁣ ⁣Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣ 🔻2 cup wheat flour⁣⁣ 🔻2 tbsp semolina ⁣⁣ 🔻pinch sugar⁣⁣ 🔻salt to taste⁣⁣ 🔻water - to knead⁣⁣ 🔻oil for deep frying⁣⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣⁣ 1. In a wide mixing bowl, add wheat flour, salt, pinch of sugar and semolina. Mix well.⁣⁣ 2. Add water little by little and make a tight, smooth and stiff dough and knead well for 5 minutes.⁣⁣ 3. Add litttle oil and knead for few minutes to make it smooth and soft.⁣⁣ 4. Make small lemon sized balls.⁣ 5. Roll the dough evenly into circles using a rolling pin.⁣⁣ 6. Keep in a plate and cover.⁣⁣ 7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil is sufficiently hot, add one puri and press with the ladle to puff up.⁣⁣ 8. Once they puff, turn over.⁣ 9. Fry the poori till it’s golden brown all over.⁣⁣ 10. Remove the poori and place it in a tissue paper to remove the excess oil. Fry all pooris same way.⁣⁣ 11.
