HOW I MAKE MY MATCHA: 🍵 I currently make my matcha using matcha-infused collagen instead of traditional matcha powder. I always add collagen to my lattes, so having them together just skips a step and makes it that much easier 💚 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 scoop @organikahealth matcha-infused collagen 1/4 cup full-fat coconut milk 1 tsp @nutiva coconut butter 1 tsp ashwagandha 10 ounce boiling water Optional - sweetener as desired (I like stevia) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In a blender, combine 1 scoop matcha-infused collagen (or 1 tsp matcha and 1 scoop collagen of choice), coconut milk, coconut butter, ashwaganda, boiling water, and sweetener. Follow her Yield: 4 large servings Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, grilled then cooled 10 minutes and diced* Romaine lettuce (you'll need about 2/3 of 1 head) 2 small avocadoes, peeled and diced 1 cup halved grape tomatoes 1/3 finely shredded or shaved parmesan cheese 4 burrito size whole wheat or white tortillas Dressing 2/3 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt 1/4 cup light-mayonnaise 1 Tbsp olive oil 3 anchovy fillets, mashed finely to a paste (1 1/2 tsp paste) 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 2 tsp worchestershire sauce 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard 2 small garlic cloves, pressed through a garlic crusher 2 Tbsp water, or as needed Salt and freshly ground black pepper Directions For the dressing: Whisk all dressing ingredients together, add in water to thin 1 Tbsp at a time (it should be a somewhat thick dressing). Season with salt and pepper to taste. For the wraps: Layer tortillas with lettuce, grilled chicken, avocados, tomatoes, and parmesan. Spoon dressing over tops and wrap. Serve immediately. *This is how I prepared and grilled the chicken - preheat grill over medium-high heat to about 425. Pound chicken breast to even thickness then brush both sides lightly with olive oil. In a small bowl whisk together 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 3/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp onion powder and 1/8 tsp garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly over both sides of chicken. HEALTHY Vs. NOURISHING ✨ nutrition is a confusing topic for a lot of people especially with all of the contradictory information and new studies that come out each day..should we be vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, paleo, keto or any other trendy label that’s out there? The truth is there’s really no one specific diet that’s going to work for every single person 🙅🏼‍♀️ there are always going to be people who thrive while another person feels horribly on that very same way of eating and that’s totally fine! So of course there’s ´healthy’ foods and not so healthy foods out there but there’s also three things that make a food nourishing to your body or not and that is... ✨ How your body reacts to it (do you feel tired, heavy or bloated afterwards?). ✨ How do they make you feel emotionally(does it make you feel happy and satisfied? regardless of all the ´healthy’ or ´unhealthy’ labels). ✨ How are they prepared. A nourishing diet includes foods that your body needs and likes & also includes foods that feed the soul. A nourishing diet has NO LABEL because it’s all about listening to your body and giving it exactly what it’s asking for without limitations (and sometimes grandmas white flour & white sugar Christmas cookies that bring out the happiness of your inner child is exactly what the soul is asking for!) That being said, your food should make your body feel energetic and vibrant and should be as nutritious as possible majority of the time which can take some time to figure out since it’s mostly through noticing how you feel after eating different foods that you will learn this information about your body. Finally preparing foods in a traditional way that brings out their highest nutritional potential and supports your body’s ability to digest them is a huge differentiator between ´healthy’ and ´nourishing’ and that means looking for foods that are soaked or sprouted, naturally fermented and whole and avoiding foods that are highly processed, filled with sugar and vegetable oils (canola, corn and soybean oil) and of course ´low fat’ 👎🏻 Green juice & Bone broth soups nourish my body 🥬🍗but hot chocolate & homemade cookies feed my soul! 🍪☕️How about you?!

Here's that easy roasted red pepper and tomato soup! Simple ingredients as always, but hearty and hits the spot on a cold winter day. I realize it's not winter yet to most of y'all, but it's like 25 degrees here so idgaf about specifics. 😁 --- ROASTED PEPPER AND TOMATO SOUP - Roast red peppers (cleaned of seeds) and tomato halves with a little salt and oil on about 400°. - Sweat onions in a pot on the stove, then add some chopped garlic, paprika, coriander, and parsley. - Saute to get some color, then add the cooked peppers and tomatoes. - Cover with stock of choice and simmer 15 minutes. - Puree in a blender, season to taste with salt. - Finish with roasted green beans, cauliflower, crunchy croutons, swirl of yogurt, and a drizzle of olive oil. --- Soup is an easy meal made out of just about anything. It's an easy way to use up leftovers, or food that's gonna go bad. I know with certainty that I couldn't have gone from my old days of drinking Diet Coke and eating Taco Bell to where I am now without a thousand steps in between. It just isn't realistic and the reason is because awareness is what progresses us and awareness is a practice. And like any other practice it is made stronger only with repeated application over time. When someone has an opinion on health or fitness that doesn't jibe with yours perhaps they're not wrong but are just in a different phase. From tracking your food religiously to never counting a single calorie. Both of these are right for some people some of the time. It’s a simple and obvious fact that we often ignore because we like to assume there is one right or wrong answer and completely throw context out the window. More over each phase indeed has its place and is crucial to experience in order to get to the next, which makes them all right 😉 Fair words would be avoid dogma and identification with health opinions and be open to new research and ideas. #meatlessmonday staple & I'm finally getting it together to share it with you! Save for later with that bookmark button❤ . For bowls I use thin rice vermicelli, saute a bunch of veggies, throw in some raw salad greens, plant based protein like tempeh (or tofu), garnish with green onions and drizzle a BOMB Almond Butter sauce. You can use peanut butter but I'm allergic and want to stay alive a little while longer so...almond butter it is🤣. . 5 Ingredient Almond butter sauce: . 2 tbsp Almond butter 1 tbsp sesame oil & the rest to taste: Rice vinegar Siracha Low sodium Soy sauce Bit of Water (to thin out) . That's it! I don't usually measure but start with the top 2 ingredients and then adjust as I go. Add a little water last to thin it out and so it goes further. You can use this as a dipping sauce, on top of salmon, veggies. ANYTHING. So damn versatile AND ADDICTIVE you've been warned. You're welcome.😋😘 .
