Did NOT want to workout today at all, in any way. In fact I didn't really want to do anything. You know those days where you have no plans, all day to do everything you want, but end up really unmotivated? Today WAS that day until I got up and worked out. For some reason I did so in Christmas socks, a little early though 🤔 it felt awesome, i felt so crap beforehand but as soon as I got moving I felt so much better. Lesson of the day? Moving makes everything better, sweating is magic 💧💧 got your sweat on today friends, even only for 5 minutes

I was in total Friday mode, signing off for weekend, thinking about not working out but then I got my gear on and got it done... didn't have to leave the house!! At home workouts work for me, the kids are even in the same room and I get a great workout done. Happy Friday!! I crushed my morning workout and I'm ready for the day now! Did you get yours in yet??? 😊 You guys, I am so excited for this weekend, because I'm going white water rafting for the first time EVER!! 🙌🙌🙌Yeah, baby!!!! Haha. 😁 I've also started intermittent fasting again and have been staying on track since August 6th. I started out with a 24 hr fast and have been consistently fasting for around 17-18 hrs a day since. I'm hooked. I love waking up in the morning and not having to worry about what I'm gonna eat. I've been feeling great. I only eat when I'm truly hungry. And I've also been losing about a lb a day. My diet has changed back to high carb low fat and is plant based with very little animal protein every now and then. (Chicken, turkey, eggs) So far, this is my favorite diet, because it's just what works for me. I thrive in the mornings and I sleep like a baby at night. I haven't been keeping track of my calories yet, but I need to. I don't limit food, I just eat until I am full. I tried keto, and felt so miserable on it. Headaches, not sleeping...etc.. It just wasn't the diet for me. Everyone is different and should adjust their diet to their individual needs. Don't just jump on the bandwagon of fad diets and then when they don't work, give up. Keep searching for YOUR perfect diet. And then stay consistent. The same goes for workouts. Stick with it. Sometimes I just really need a slow start to the day and that go go juice to kick in! 💥 — I spent yesterday feeling fatigued and sore. I’m the type of person who tries to keep busy doing something productive every day, even as a teacher on summer holidays. Just chill already! — I think my body really wanted me to slow down. I read a book outside in my back yard. It was lovely. I didn’t hit my move goal on my Apple Watch, I’m not sure I even stood enough to make my watch happy! Whatever!! I pretty much stayed off of social media and I didn’t even watch the Great British Bake Off! WHAT? I love watching old episodes of that show. — Apparently, it was just what I needed. I woke up late, took my time, enjoyed my morning tea☕️, got my workout in much later than normal .... and it was FABULOUS...So much better than yesterday. I’m so glad I took the time to chill. — Holy mother it was HARD! — Pics go in reverse order: end of workout to beginning. Ended in smiles, started I’m smirks. — Now I’m signing off of social media for the daytime hours with a wee check in later tonight. I was really hesitant to post this because the booty jiggle is REAL, but I'm choosing not to be ashamed of my body and where it's at today, but instead to feel PROUD of myself.
