🔹 Triceps Exercises - Dumbbells 🔹 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don’t fret if you don’t have access to the latest and greatest machines. Free weights are more than enough to build a solid pair of triceps. The key is to target the triceps for a range of angles. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are a few of my favourite dumbbell exercises for triceps. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Exercises ▪️Overhead two hand triceps extension ▪️Dumbbell kickback ▪️Dumbbell skull crushers ▪️Incline skull crushers ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Reps & sets: 3-4 sets, 8-15 reps, 60 seconds between sets. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To increase the intensity, try performing slow negatives on the eccentric phase of each exercise. Moving the weight in a slow and controlled manner will increase the time under tension placed on the triceps, resulting in greater muscle fibre recruitment and a nasty burn in the triceps.

Best part of life? Every morning you have a new opportunity to become a happier version of yourself. 🥰 My days are crazy... kinda like trying to get your fur kids to all cooperate at the same time. 😂 Often I feel pulled a million directions running a successful home business while still trying to win at this mom and wife gig. tonight’s sermon brought to life how utterly abandoned Jesus was on the cross. God had forsaken Him...God had turned His back on Him. and yet Jesus only asked “why?” not “how could You do this to me?” or “why did You have to pick me?” or “how will others see this?” ... He hung on the cross in abandonment, naked shame, almost already to the point of death...and did it willingly. despite having the knowledge or insight (remember these things were taken from Him when God left Him), He stayed. He didn’t fight it. ... thanks be to God that He sent His Son to earth, born miraculously from a virgin, then died a horrendous, unimaginable death...for YOU. for me. for the whole world. ... it is finished.

Back day! Finished off my workout with some negative focused pull-ups, 5 second count down! @smith.julian Along with shrugs focusing on the squeeze up top! If your butt isn’t drenched like this at the end of a workout, you’re not working hard enough! Hit a new low for my summer shred this morning, pretty good day! 💪🏻

Quick Lower Body Workout! 5 reps for each Narrow, Regular, Wide, Jump Squats. Repeat circuit 3X. And then Wall sit for 1 minute. Just takes 5 minutes. It is quick, but powerful:) . . . even though there is only about a 16 pound difference in this photo that I am still struggling to break, I just appreciate that keto has helped me maintain the initial loss! . . I know saying I’ll start my diet on monday has always been my thing, but I am really going to try to start a keto reset tomorrow! especially after vacationing/eating out the last two weekends 😞 I had originally lost 20 total (after some extended fasts) so I easily put 5 back on that I need to say goodbye to for good. . . any tips for a reset?

there is a 30 pound difference between these two pictures and it’s so shocking to me to think about how I let myself get to that point. I knew I was eating poorly, I knew I was working out less and less. granted I was living in a new country and spending money on travel rather than food. I was also vegan and the cheapest thing to buy were pastas/bread. carbs, carbs and more carbs for four months! this weight wasn’t all lost with keto, but the rest will be! I’ve given up sugar before, but this is the most sustainable way to do it that I can see for my future and I am so inspired by this keto community every day! I’m a little exhausted in this picture on the right from this morning because I’ve been feeling so down from overeating like crazy this weekend (and drunk me totally ate a chocolate bar that was in our hotel room last night), but I’m using this page to stay accountable and looking at this helps remind me that I gotta do right by my body. I will never stop loving food which is why keto is so wonderful! I’ve never compromised on flavor and never feel like I’m missing out. I need to shoutout my cousin @sawatson23 who got me started on keto and has helped me so so much along the way! can’t thank you enough 💛💛💛
