I have been up all night thinking. It’s actually hit me this early morning what i have accomplished in 20.5 months. My resting heart ❤️ rate was 108 bpm now 54 bpm. Blood pressure 120/70 . I was 388.2 when i started this journey now i weigh a solid 261.3 , a 126.9 lbs lost.. i am still going to keep going,keep grinding and see how low i can go. La emoción es algo espontáneo, que dura una cantidad de minutos-horas. Las emociones son reacciones neuro-quimicas que ocurren en milésimas de segundos; en cambio, los sentimiento es algo que perdura a lo largo de la vida. Por lo tanto, el sentimiento se vuelve un habito y una decisión... Rise&grind Gods champions! Taking ownership of the our shortcomings or flaws is everything. Here’s a brief time line of my transformation to present day! It’s started with me gaining 80-90 pounds through developing anxiety and depression. The meds i was put on to combat these disorders sent me into a tail spin of eating and hiding. Know one would confront me on this problem. Everyone would tip toe around the subject, including myself. Excuses and explanations were my best friend along with power eating and then feeling depressed about it. Until..... mom, whom I’m pictured holding on my shoulder, came to me one day and said “Jimmy, your fat, what the heck happened to you”? She basically forced me to be accountable for what had happened. When someone who loves you, hits you with the truth, no sugar coating, you have to own up to your shit. And i did. The rest is history as shown from the timeline of pictures. Moral of my story. It can be done as long as you take responsibility for what is going on in “your” life. Don’t make excuses, set small goals, and accomplish those goals. My first goal was i want to go from 285 to 255 in 5 months so i could go on vacation with my family and not feel so subconscious. I crushed that goal and in 12 months by our 2nd vacation i was 210 pounds. Oh, by the way, i got the girl😉! And she’s my everything! Stay focused, stay blessed and thank the Lord for all! It's #weighinwednesday ...I thought I would preface it with a funny. I've been bouncing around 179-180.8 lbs for the past couple weeks. It's great! With all of the stress-induced choices I've made, I haven't gone off the deep end. 🍪 Even if I did gain 5 Or 10 lbs back, I know how to reverse it. Because, after all, losing 10 lbs is a lot easier than losing 60. 💁 . But... We put too much stock in the numbers on the scale. ⚖️ It's only the gravitational pull that's bringing you down to earth. 🌎 I *feel* more fit, I can see muscles developing, I'm able to do more activities for longer times. Right... After a discussion with Janet earlier this morning during PT. We had a discussion about ACTUAL health and fitness against the unrealistic and extreme image that we are fed via social media etc. STOP THINKING THAT YOU HAVE TO KILL YOURSELF OFF EVERY TIME YOU EXERCISE TO BECOME FIT AND HEALTHY! Going for a walk; lifting some weights, stretching, swimming, cycling etc. These are activities that keep us fit and healthy. Jumping over 8ft boxes and doing one arm barbell snatches aren't really necessary unless you're an extremist. I've been training for 10+ years now and these days I'm only training 4 days a week and recover for 3. Monday, Wednesday and Friday - heavy weight training Tuesday and Thursday - pilates, yoga, mobility, stretching, relaxing. Saturday - Cardio/Hill Sprints Sunday - absolutely naff all! You don't have to be an extremist! If you are, that's you're choice and may it bring you happiness. But if you watch the Netflix Documentary about Ronnie Coleman, it might hit home that you need to look after your body long term, even if you do get all the glory in your peak years. Anyway... Health and Fitness is for EVERYONE. Get it done! To what level works best for YOU! 💪

Tofu, salad and leftovers 🙏🌿

W O R K 💼 Dimanche. Dieu se repose, pas moi, je n'ai pas son temp. Tout comme je n'ai pas le temp de tout ceux qui se reposent en ce jour ou en général.🤙🏾 Pas parce que je suis mieux. Justement parce que je suis moins bien. Je dois taffer 3 fois plus que toi pour avoir les meme resultat. Certains y verrons une injustice moi j y vois des leçons. Il y a beaucoup plus de leçons à apprendre dans l'effort que dans la quietude.👊🏾 Taffer pour mes projets quels qu'ils soient, c'est ma façon à moi de me sentir vivant. D'où le fait que je ne ressente pas besoin de me reposer👆🏾 Pour moi se reposer, c'est etre mort ☻
