5 squats EMOTM for 10 minutes with 2x16Kg KB. . . I wanted to shoot a video so this was actually round 13. 😌 You can clearly see that I fumble to set up for the clean and loose count on the reps. 😂😂 I've forgotten the clean 🤦🏾🙄 . . This is the heaviest I have squatted since the foot injury. I can feel myself getting stronger every week. You know the feeling - when you first start training, as soon as you learn good form, you bang out reps every other day and then as you get stronger there comes a time when a PR literally waiting for you every week (unless you fuck it up)? Do you do cardio? . This is a question I’ve been asked lately. My cardio these days is HIIT type workouts where I do a hard exercise for a period of time, then rest, repeat. . This type of interval training is more efficient for fat burning and cardiovascular health than traditional, steady cardio because it can be done in a shorter amount of time. Also, you get the strength building benefits of the exercises, which you wouldn’t get with a steady jog on the treadmill. . For this workout I did 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off for the first 4 exercises, then rowed for 1 minute. Repeated 4 times. . KB jump squats to KB squats . Battle ropes . KB swings . Plank up-downs . Rower . I’m always working on improving my form on my KB swings, and I try to do them as @jencomas and @allisontenney do.
