🔼creative training🔽 Strength training and dance... Ever thought of that combo? Here's a lil' fun intra-set kettlebell sequence. The dance element here is from @elkebschroeder floor movement series. Learning how to get to the ground in multi-directional ways makes sense outside of dance and choreography. By training how to change levels in different ways we increase our movement capacity and adaptability in everyday settings. It doesn't have to be this ballistic. Simply moving up and down in many different ways possible works. But in terms of that ballistic strength training here's this lil' combo ⚡ I did reps. The #'s were cut to fit the vid duration. Averaging at 8-10 miles walking a day at the moment, lifting weights about 3 times a week and on a 1500 calorie deficit but this is after I must’ve put weight on over the summer holidays due to lack of exercise and overeating! But it’s ok, I’m cool with it. Weight loss isn’t one steady decline, it’s up and down, life happens and we maybe put a few lbs back on. How I would love to finish a Monday training sessions,if its "legday".. Dropset kettlebell squats.. Bell size-double 20kgs 1.Double KBsquats-10reps 2.Offset Single Arm KB squat-10/10 3.Offset GOBLET Squat-10 2-3sets will be plenty for legs I feel,so don't go overboard.. ➡️ MECHANICAL Drop sets allows you to switch to an easier exercise or easier variations of the same exercise as a mean to extend the set further- builds a hell lot muscles.. Basically, In a Drop set You can take a weight and rep it out, reduce the weight,rep it out again,and so on until you reach the minimum weight.. ➡️ Mechanical drop set also follows the similar concept,only rather than reducing the load as you fatigue,the load stays the same through out,you simply switch to an easier exercise or an easier variations of same exercise,to extend the set further...
