Goblet squats are great for slowing down with squats and finding strong positions. If your core breaks with Barbell squats, consider trying these. If the kettlebell dumps, you dump...it forces control of bracing and posture and the weight you can carry is naturally controlled by what you can support with your forearms and grip. High reps. Practice practice practice.

🔥 Quad Burner 🔥 Finished today’s session with this absolute leg destroyer. 5 sets of 7 Reps Deficit squat and 2 second pause with 80kg of KB. Fantastic way to help growth in the quads and increasing the time under tension of the muscles requiring more muscles fibres to be recruited and therefore stimulate more growth. Due to the KB front squat position this exercise also really works the core. All round real tough finisher. FIGHT FIT WEDNESDAY Dear burpees, Please love me. Please. I am begging you... I love you... hahahahahahah!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘 We did toes to bar today and I did knee tucks instead. I tried the toes to bar and I did only 90 degrees parallel to the ground... Omygee... need more practice!!! I was wearing my gloves already but... anyway... Knee tucks were more doable for me but after some reps, I was struggling already!!! Okay, but that was realllly fun!!! I enjoy that kind of workout even if they’re really challenging and sometimes frustrating.(In a good way though because you gotta do it more!) Evening WOD with my own personal trainee ❤ @satu_ra Kind of a Fight slightly Gone Bad! 3 Rounds - 1min KB squats - 1min KB SDHPs - 1min Burpees over KB - 1min KB Clean & Jerks - 1min Rest - Result: total reps (I lost my count ☹) - KB @ 16kg/35lbs I also adjusted my speed rope a bit because I noticed that I might set handle too far away, and probably due to that I have had some problems with my DUs (issues with getting to a proper rhytm). According to first trials, DUs felt better but I need to work with the new setting. Respects to my lovely wife @satu_ra for making max effort in the WOD. I do train very hard however my training has never been fancy and I have never claimed it to be. I Probably know hundreds of different exercises using machines, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, rings, mace, Bulgarian bags...etc BUT I pretty much have been doing the same few functional exercises for years and years. Here is the short list: Deadlifts Squats Presses TGU Pull ups and weight of pull-ups Push ups Snatches Occasionally Bulgarian split squats and or pistols THAT’S IT! A solid program design, consistency and voila!Guess what ? IT WORKS!! It was really nice outside today. Started my month #fitness program with @elliemcgfitness ! Honestly it was one of those days that I wanted to just curl up in a ball and sleep all day, but I knew I NEEDED to get outside and workout. By my 2nd circuit I was pumped with endorphins!! 😄 Sometimes you just need to tell yourself, "Get your butt outside and run! Get your butt in the car and go to the gym!"
