(Just make sure your knees don’t slide past your toes, and focus on keeping joints at 90 degrees) I like to get creative in my workouts to keep things interesting for my mind and body. Real life in the gym looks like messy hair, thighs that touch, sweat, bad music, unflattering camera angles, obnoxious breathing, and a lot of boring work that doesn’t end up in edited videos. It doesn’t happen in just 15 minutes. It doesn’t include a pitch for a magic supplement. It is accompanied by a solid diet, sound sleep, and managed stress. It isn’t pretty. It isn’t fast. It isn’t easy. But, if you do the real work, stop looking for quick fixes, focus on the process AND performance, the good stuff will come. The weight loss, the confidence, the IMPROVEMENTS in your health and wellness will come. The process isn’t always pretty. It’s not always full of PRs. But, it is so, so worth it. Hammie burnout! I’ve dealt with knee / back issues in the past from the repercussions of overtraining my quads: cycling, lunging, leg press etc and neglected to balance it out by building my hamstrings and increasing hip mobility. This is all about balance in the push + pull of training your body So here are some variations on the Romanian Deadlift (RDL) to add to your leg day. I recommend trying these in this order and don’t progress until you’ve mastered the latter. For form, always be engaging the lower back, hamstrings, glutes. Legs are stiff in order to get the stretch in the hamstrings once achieving the table top position with a flat back. Now go get ur booty work! 1. Light to moderate weight kettlebell or dumbbell RDL 2. Barbell RDL for heavier weight 3. Single leg kettlebell or dumbbell RDL 4. Single leg kettlebell or Dumbell RDL on top of a bosu for a challenge in balance/ stability

So, my routine for her was a change from what she was used to. I explained the checklist of the 7 R's I use with my programming, and after discussions I went with a 10-12-15 rotation for fat loss.
