Today I had an hour yoga session, almost did the full kettlebell Simple & Sinister, but I didn't have time to finish the TGUs as we were off to the streetworkout park to train outside too😎 To my surprise, I could easily do the kb swings with the 8, 10, 12 and 16 kg kettlebells without having issues in my injured right thigh. Tomorrow I'll try them with the 24kg to see if it hurts. Story time: Had 12 days off from training, due to fresh stitches (mole removals) and my period.. But I spent my time wisely: I read a lot and reviewed my training progress. I hit a plateau in several bw exercises and had to find new approaches. My main goal is to gain flexibility and build strength, not big muscles. So I'll stick to the small reps, full-body strength, advanced exercises. No more chick training, recovery is almost done🙄 I'll also do yoga more regularly. Yesterday’s #kettlebell workout was a doozy. After my dynamic warm-up I did The Hundreds workout. Take one implement, in this case it was the Kettlebell. Pick 4 movements and do 100 reps for each and you cannot move into the next movement until you have completed the 100 reps.
