Pensando nisso resolvi preparar um strogonoff de camarão para o almoço! . ✍🏻 INGREDIENTES ✨ 500 g de camarão limpo (cinza ou rosa) ✨ 1 colher de sobremesa rasa de manteiga ✨ 1 lata de creme de leite ✨ 200 ml de molho de tomate ✨ 1 colher de sopa de mostarda ✨ 1 cebola média picada ✨ 2 alhos picados ✨ 1 pitada de orégano ✨ Sal e pimenta do reino a gosto ✨ 1 cebolinha picada . ✍🏻 MODO DE PREPARO ✨ Coloque em uma panela a manteiga, após derreter jogue a cebola e deixe refogar. ✨Quando a cebola estiver amarelinha jogue o alho para que ele refogue e não queime. ✨ Quando dourar o alho coloque o camarão, o orégano, o sal e a pimenta do reino. ✨ Cozinhe o camarão rapidamente, coloque o molho de tomate, a mostarda e misture. ✨ Desligue o fogo e coloque o creme de leite sem o soro. ✨ Finalize com a cebolinha.

🔥 24 HOUR FAST 🔥 . . It’s Sunday, time for me to count my blessings and not eat any food, or fast for a more professional term. An all day fast is something I personally like to implement about once a month. I’m not a huge advocate of the more popular intermittent fasting. For one, not eating food for 8-12 hours is NOT a fast. It’s just skipping a meal and second, I don’t believe it sets our body up for success on a daily basis. So, I opt for a full day fast every 4-6 weeks. If you count the hours I sleep the fast comes closer to 36 hours. It gives my body and digestive tract a full day to just chill out and relax. 😎 . . All I will consume is a 1/2 cup of cranberries and a handful of spinach 4x throughout the day and of course, plenty of H2O. Why a 1/2 cup of cranberries 4x throughout the day instead ☝️ large smoothie?!? Well, because the body prefers micro-doses over macro-doses. The body would rather move 10x throughout the day for 5mins at a time instead of one time for 50mins. Same with our nutrition. The body would prefer its nutrients spread throughout the day. It’s much more OPTIMAL for the human body. When it comes to health and performance I am always seeking out what is OPTIMAL. At the same time I realize we don’t live in an OPTIMAL world 🌎 and some days we just need to get nutrients in when we can. However, there will also be days where you can set your body up OPTIMALLY for success. And this is one of those days. . . Anyways, this is just my take on fasting and what I have implemented in my life. As always, I advocate that YOU do what works best for YOU. Don’t like to fast? Then don’t do it! I keep seeing posts on Instagram about avocados going from perfect to bad very quickly. In honor of avocados being on sale at @aldiusa today (59 cents! 👀), I wanted to share how I store them. A co-worker told me this trick years ago and it hasn’t failed me yet... 🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑 • Buy then when they are rock hard. • Let them sit on the counter until they are just perfectly ripe (you know that soft but not TOO soft feeling) ~ check daily as they will ripen at different paces usually. • As soon as they are perfectly ripe, put them in the fridge and leave them there until you are ready to eat. 🥑🥑🥑🥑🥑 I have kept them up to two weeks (possibly longer? I’ll try to track going forward) and they stay perfectly ripe... once in a while at the end of the batch I’ll find a tiny brown spot or two.

Just a little story about my mum - who doesn’t want to be shown here lol. Just here showing her healthy blood sugar levels. About 10 years ago she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. For about 8/9 years she went through the usual protocol of being told by doctors to eat small regular meals to control blood sugar, and prescribed medication to control the ‘symptoms’ of diabetes. Never offered any hope of curing this disease. About 18 months ago when I was really getting into keto and biohacking, I had learned a lot and realised I could really help her. I introduced her to the idea of intermittent fasting and ketogenic diet with lots of veg. Like anyone she was skeptical at first but she gave it a go. I looked into her medication and realised she didn’t need it. But she was reluctant to just stopped, so we compromised and she reduce her medication. It took her a very long time to fully accept that eating lots of fat is fine. I remember the first time she went to the doctors, they couldn’t believe her progress and weren’t even annoyed that she came off her meds! (Surprisingly). Nowadays, she doesn’t take anything for her diabetes, which I believe has almost fully reversed if not fully, and she has lost almost 30kgs! (65lbs). She also says she has never felt better, and she is 63! Next step is to get her exercising! Pharmaceutical companies 0, natural remedies 1! A big up yours to big pharma in this case! Remember, the meds ONLY treat the SYMPTOMS but will NEVER CURE YOUR DISEASE!
