Ive been on the fence about posting this. But then I remembered failure is a necessary evil no matter the goal. You will never want to win if all you do is win, sometimes losing and finding out your weak points is the best thing that could ever happen. Not here to make excuses but I was not feeling so hot going into this routine(Flu symptoms ). But when it’s time to PR it’s time to PR. Some Vitamin C, some Caffeine, and a big dose of Grit. I wasn’t able to top my previous best at 475lbs. I wasn’t even able to top a previous BELTLESS PR 😂. Thats when I knew things were just not in the right place.However still put in the work and will be trying again next week. 405x1 -felt slow 405x1 -lost my positioning 405x1(shown)-everything checked out 🤙🏽 455x1(shown)- G R I N D ! 😂 I knew I didn’t have much left after that 475x1- no dice 465x1- no dice Wrapped it up and called it a day. The battle was lost but the gains will continue!

I had my second shoulder and chest workout of the week. Now I cant lift my arms over my head. And the DOMS in my glutes have hit hard today from Tuesday's Glute and Hamstring sesh. The worst part... I hit legs again tomorrow. Wtf am I doing to myself?!? 😂😂😂 You put in the work, the #gainz will come. BENCH DAY! As promised! Let’s have a little chat about strength. Strength is comprised of so many variables. Hydration, rest, recovery, sleep, nutrition, stress, even the time of the day can effect your strength positively or negatively. The reason I bring this up is because today I don’t feel like I was 100% in all these categories. But sometime you gotta put on your big boy pants and just go for it. Wasn’t able to top my previous best of 345lbs. However I was able to PR on total reps for a 225lbs AMRAP. My goal was 20reps, which I thought I got but apparently only got 19 lol🤣. Either way it was a good showcase of strength and endurance for myself and am pleased with where I’m at currently. Video sequence is as follows 325x1 315x1 295x1 225x19 Cheers to the black stallion Biko for the spot, couldn’t do it without you! Deadlift coming soon!!!

In light of finishing my most recent program. It’s time to test my lifts. So here’s is test number 1. #squat 1- 385x1. Felt real good. Super confident descent, hit depth, and shot out the hole with good speed. Probably could’ve done 1-2 more 2- 405x1. 10lb PR! First off not the prettiest rep. #grinder much? But if I’m being honest with myself I probably could’ve sunk it a little deeper. I was border line on depth. I really didn’t want to fail this lift so I think I jumped the gun on my depth. BUT! The fucker went up so I’ll take it 😂 3- 315x12. AMRAP(at least I thought it was all the reps i had🙄) What better time to take 315 for a ride than after the Nervous system has been primed with a 1RM. After review of the video it looked like I could’ve done 2 maybe 3 more. But when I was under the bar I felt like time had slowed down after rep 10😵. Either way I was happy with the quality and speed Tomorrow we test the BENCH! Stay tuned!

I dont ever post fitness stuff. But in the past month give or take, I have started counting macros again and I am very pleased with how far I have already come. Weighing in at 215 this morning. Also this week I started a new training style that I have never done before. It's been hard to get back in the gym and dieting propper ever since I got hurt last year, along with all the other things going on in my life.
