Well well well..... had a great early morning session in the gym. Almost got my whole list of to do’s done ✅ and way more importantly pause benched 42.5kg for 2 - all by my little self 😄 I was weighing up 42.5kg or 45kg but decided to go with 42.5kg in the end. If you get tired learn to rest not quit. People burn themselves out by failing to discipline themselves and stick to the plan. The burn out scares them off, usually for good. Discipline isn’t always a tool to do more, sometimes it’s a tool to do less. Focus on what’s important, avoid the burn out, but if it happens all you need is a quick regroup and you can get back to it.

SHAPE CHECK | 2 jaar na de geboorte van mijn jongste. Na veel sporten, maar ook lekker eten en genieten van het leven, heb ik mijn lichaam weten te vormen zoals ik wilde. Ik volg geen dieet, maar eet gevarieerd (groente, pasta, aardappels). Wij hebben zelfs een standaard patatdag. Ik skip fruit, behalve banaan. Gewoon, omdat ik het niet echt lust. Suiker ban ik zoveel mogelijk en neem trouw na elke workout een proteïneshake, maar meer dus niet. Met eten kom je al heel ver. Veel mensen drinken dagelijks sap of frisdrank, wat dus niet zo goed is. Dat komt hier dus niet het huis in. Zorg goed voor jezelf! Dat haar trouwens 😂 Ik heb er geen controle meer over 😟

I’m actually happy with how my body is handling more cheat meals this past month. Sure I might not be as lean as summer time but I’m only human and I do like to take a break and keep my body guessing. Self motivation is definitely the key. ⭐️⭐️Love my pink gloves!! ⭐️⭐️After a nice rest weekend! - yes a whole weekend it’s part of the program- ⭐️I feel ready for today! Although my tris really struggle- but I know they’ll get stronger! Happy Monday!! Love starting my week off with a workout- that means I’ll smash it this week again! ⭐️Oh and I lost 2lb- my body fat% is down 3% and I’ve lost 1/2inch odd my thigh! Not bad! And I’ve had a weekend off working out! ⭐️ Must say when I started this the thought of 3 days rest scared me! I’m used to working out 6 days a week! But this works! “Just eat in a deficit” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sounds so simple doesn’t it? So why do we still struggle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If it was as easy as eating less then the issues we currently face wouldn’t be there. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🍔CALORIES Create a deficit but it has to be one that you can adhere to. If not then at some point along the way it will come undone. Simply saying to someone “its all about the deficit” Isn’t helpful. What is going to help is how they can stick to it to get the desired outcome. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏃‍♀️EXPENDITURE Ideally the bets way to create said deficit will come from the diet but we can use training & exercise to help this. Also to promote health and long term longevity benefits such as strength improvements. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 😴RECOVERY Knowing when to push and when to pull back is vital for success. There will be times to hammer the nutrition, make progress when you can. Then times to relax, diet break and promote recovery whilst mitigating the fatigue. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There is so much more than just eating in a deficit. Humans are complex individuals and nutrition should be very much specific for success. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What do you see as the most important factor?
