Comparison is the thief of joy. You might feel jealous or depressed thinking someone has more, is more successful or is more beautiful than you. But you donโ€™t know what they went through to get that or be that. ๐ŸŒน The entirety of my grade school years I was overweight. Not just a few pounds. I weigh less now than I did in 5th grade. At my highest, I reached 230 lbs. my sophomore year. ๐Ÿ’ฅ Iโ€™ve been called everything- wide load, lard butt, fatty, disgusting pig, dump truck, tank, fatso- the creativity in chastising names was unending. When youโ€™re heavy itโ€™s like you walk into a room and everyone hates you before you even get a chance to open your mouth. ๐Ÿ’ฅ One time in high school we had an outdoor assembly in the football stadium. We had to file in on the old wooden bleachers. All the upper class man had been seated and it came time for my freshman class to file to their seats. As I went to step on one of the bleachers to get to my row the bleachers broke clean in half! It was old and rotten but it had to happen in front of everyone. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ So I could easily hate people but I donโ€™t. Its because Iโ€™ve let Jesus Christ change me. His ways make no sense in the world but they strike home in the hear. Theyโ€™ll make a man think. Theyโ€™ll make a man break. Iโ€™m not perfect and I fail everyday.
