😭😭😭 . Omg, I’m in agony... it’s 4am and I’ve woke up with a horrendous headache 😩 . It’s absolutely killing me & hurts so much that I want to cry 😥 . I know fully well that my headache is due to Mother Nature, but I don’t think I’ve ever had one this extreme and painful before 😔 . I just hope these tablets work and that I can get back to sleep & sleep it off 😴 . Anyway... on a positive note, I’ve managed 11 days binge free!! 🙌🏼 . I often talk about how much better I feel and how much I love what I’m doing... but on IG?!? I haven’t shared a whole lot of photos that demonstrate the difference. Tonight?? This is the vulnerable share. . . There’s two years to the day between these photos... the irony of those days is strong. . . In the first?!? I had been using products to help me feel better, to help lose weight, to help with stress - all while getting more frustrated, fat and stressed. They weren’t working for me, I wasn’t having success and?? Worst of all? I felt like a failure... I had lost hope. I knew that there HAD to be something better out there. . . In the second?!? I was enjoying the first day of snow while thinking about that we are being invited to celebrate Christmas in the Bahamas with my current community. I started that side gig just hoping to see a smaller number on the scale and to MAYBE not feel like a failure anymore... Very quickly I found that I was feeling happier than I’ve ever been, my stress levels dropped, my brain lit up and?? Well the number on the scale (still) keeps getting smaller. I have earned my way to being a Champion within our community, earning a car bonus whenever I chose to take it, having traveled all over the United States and now?? I can go back to the Bahamas WITHOUT feeling like a failure or a fraud. Most of all?? I’ve found hope again. And that’s so damn powerful. . . While it’s easy to see the difference of my physical size in these two photos... I hope that you also see the difference in my spirit, my eyes, my smile. Having HOPE and having FAITH are the biggest wins. . . I hope you have all of those things... hope, faith, better, community, belief, success... and if you don’t? Let’s chat and find them for you!! Enjoy every minute of it ! 😁 Thanks @peacelovelowcarb for the recipe!! ——— Serving of: 3-4 FOR THE POT PIE FILLING: 3 tbsp butter 1/2 cup onion, diced (about 2.5 oz) 1/2 cup celery, sliced (2 medium ribs) 1/2 cup carrots, slices (about 2.5 oz) 3 cloves garlic, minced salt and pepper, to taste 12 oz chicken, cubed small 3/4 cup heavy cream 1/2 cup chicken broth 3/4 cup sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded 1/2 cup frozen peas FOR THE DOUGH: 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded 3 tbsp cream cheese 3/4 cup #almondflour 1 large egg 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1 tsp sea salt 1/2 tsp black pepper ——— STEP 1, FOR THE POT PIE FILLING: - Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. - Once the butter is melted, add the onion, celery, carrots, garlic and a little salt and pepper to the pan. Sauté until the vegetables are soft. - Add the chicken to the pan and sauté until is is cooked though. - Add the heavy cream and chicken broth to the pan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5-7 minutes. - Mix in the cheese until melted. - Stir in peas — STEP 2, FOR THE DOUGH: - Preheat oven to 375° - In a large mixing bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute. Stir to combine and microwave 1 additional minute. - Mix in almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, sea salt and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined. If if gets stringy or is not quite melted enough, put it back in for another 30 seconds. - Divide the dough into four equal pieces. - Spread the dough pieces out into large flat circles on parchment paper or a silpat. If it starts to get sticky, wet your hands a little bit to prevent it from sticking to you. - Divide the pot pie filling between four mini (cupcake) pans or 2 larger pans - Top each one with a piece of dough, folding it down around the edges. - Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown on top. - Serve! ——— #ketofriendly #weightloss #highfatlowcarb #lowcarb #dinnerideas #ketoworks #losingweight #foodie #food #ketosis #foodporn

Today is day 39 of my 60 day liquid diet juice fast and for dinner I enjoyed this Tropical Smoothie by naked. This is the furthest I have made this challenge as I have attempted many times before and have failed around day 35. I believe I'm going to be going to be on 60 days because I am not seeing the results that are necessary to be done by 60 days. I need to be down to 190 lb and I am still sitting at 230 lb. If I was on schedule tomorrow I should be around 225 lbs. 🍁 A couple of weeks ago I had to face reality. Time is going by no matter what my plans are. I always kept my health on the back burner. Slowly the weight crept up. One day I woke up and didn’t recognize who I saw in the mirror. I kept telling myself tomorrow is the day. But tomorrow never came. - The frustration and stress I went through, made it so I kept giving up. I was stuck in a terrible cycle of binge eating and restrictive eating. I gained and lost the same weight over and over and over. - I have quit over a hundred times. I have restarted my #weightlossjourney Over a hundred times, and then some. I don’t know what happened but my mind finally clicked. I realized that I no longer wanted to be unhappy. I wanted to go back to being the strong fit me, but better! I finally sought help. And although every single day, I fight my own personal demons, I’m never quitting again. 👊🏻 - I’m on day one of week three, from the eight week challenge hosted by @blspringfit. There are times where you feel like you’re done. Halfway through a workout and your mind is feeling you that you can’t go on, there’s nothing left. Yet you still finish. We know we place limits on ourselves, and we know we can overcome this. If we expect more of ourselves, we get more from ourselves. The difficulty is that pushing your limits is hard, it downright sucks. The harder you push, the harder life pushes back. It takes physical and mental strength to keep going. The key is to persevere in your consistency. What was uncomfortable yesterday is easy today, keep pushing the boundaries. When you feel like giving up is exactly when you should keep going.
