🌟Fodmap Friendly Fats🌟 - There are so many more fats to choose from than what I use, but that's because I'm avoiding as much dairy as I can - I miss cheese 🧀😢 so eat it every now and then 🎉 - So things I use most often: 🔹️Coconut milk for curries/stir frys 🔹️Rice bran oil for cooking 🔹️Almond or peanut oil for salads/drizzling (not cooking) 🔹️Almonds - but not too many though!! Been making a lot of quick and easy throw together type meals lately and therefore not posting as often. Got creative in the kitchen today and made this smokey creamy sauce out of potato, artichokes cashews and other herbs and spices. Made some king oyster mushroom "scallops" and sauteed some kale and summer squash that a friend gave me fresh from her garden. It was nice to have a more elevated dinner on this gloomy, smokey spirit-dampening day. Might be starting to feel better now. Pasta is comfort food after all 😊

Slow Saturdays 🥞 It was so good to get out of the house this morning after being home sick for what has felt like FOREVER 😳 Luka and I went to the Farmers Markets & then stopped at @thebikerycafe for breakfast. These are Chocolate pancakes with honey, lemon Creme fraiche & toasted marshmallow topped with apple crumble .. They were so good 🤤If you're ever in Cambridge, stop in here and try the food! The best burger we’ve ever tried. EVER. Delicious vegan spicy “chicken” burger at all-vegan restaurant @doomies! 🍔 The cheese is deliciously gooey and magical! Their fries are amazing too! 🍟 LA is home to so many amazing vegan restaurants!

Getting our Friday started with some homemade chicken wings and drumsticks with an avocado “ranch” crema. This was super easy to prep and you can see more on my stories. Have a great night friends! . Chicken wings and drumsticks 4 drumsticks and about 5 wings from @buyranchdirect 1 Tbsp avocado oil Salt and pepper to taste Add everything to chicken and bake 400 for 30-35 minutes. . Sauce: 1 Tbsp @primalpalate new bae seasoning 2 garlic cloves minced 2 Tbsp avocado oil 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar 2-3 soaked dates (optional if you want a lil sweetness) Filter water if wanting to thin out (add 1 tbsp at a time) Blend in high powered blender and set aside. . Once chicken is done cooking, coat chicken with sauce and enjoy. **Optional step: once dipped in sauce add to air fryer and cook 360 for 10 minutes and then once done dip again in more sauce. Top with cilantro. . Avocado ranch dip 1 avocado 1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar 1 tsp @primalpalate garden ranch seasoning Cilantro Juice of one lime Salt and pepper to taste Mix and enjoy!

M•A•T•C•H•A So I just recently discovered matcha and let me tell you it was love at first sip. A coffee shop that I frequent has the best matcha latte that I’ve had way more than I care to admit. So I decided to try to find one that I could make on my own, that could fit my macros and be a little lighter on my wallet. So I searched around and finally found a pre made matcha latte with almond milk from Trader Joe’s that was amazing. The only thing I added was a packet of stevia. This is definitely my go to now. Swipe to see the container. Macros (serving size: 1 cup) Cal: 60 Carbs: 9g | Fat:2.5g | protein: 1g (Add I carb for each stevia package added)
