MTW update : night snack was a pot of custard with 1 lotus biscuit, unfortunately lotus biscuits sometimes trigger a binge so I binged on them and then purged 😔 and because my digestion is so slow this meant I purged some of my dinner as well 😴 not going to go into too much detail about that now as I’m exhausted both physically and emotionally and I want to sleep, this is my new plan for tomorrow and Sunday, the urges to restrict are so high, mum let’s me choose my plan mostly so I’ve already chosen the lowest calorie options, but also the urge to start exercise again is so strong I think I probably will tbh

Who’s ready for Thanksgiving??? 🙋🏻‍♀️ We finalized our meal plan for the week, and I am VERY excited for some of the things we’ll be cooking up next week. 🍗 Last year we did a non-traditional thanksgiving meal, and were doing something similar this year. Having a husband that cooks and likes to experiment with food definitely has its advantages. 🍽 I’m also very excited to see my parents. Living on opposite sides of the country doesn’t give us much opportunity to see them, and I really cherish every moment. 🧡 What are you most excited for for Thanksgiving??

Arwen and 9 other ladies have been cooking up a storm from my recipes over 30 days! Such a brilliant effort by them all. I'm putting all their beautiful photos and comments on a post on my website, but it is 200 plus photos so it will take me a while to get it done! Great to see a lot of what we cooked in workshops this year cooked again during the challenge. I hear a lot that the workshops have given the attendees that bit of confidence to cook ingredients they may not have been confident cooking before 🔪🔪🔪 The next cooking challenge starts on December 1st. This time there will be one prize, and it a BIG prize. So there won't be the pressure to cook a recipe every day but every time you cook and post the recipe you'll get another entry in to go in the draw for the prize. So you can cook and enter once or fifty times to increase your chance of winning. I will tell you all about the awesome prize very soon... I have some workshops for 2019 at my home in Eaglehawk Neck already listed on my website: Seafood cooking Game cooking Bread baking The Tasman peninsula cooking experience Event and party planning Phone photography and food styling The workshops are so much fun and you'll get to enjoy a local feast for lunch after a morning of learning. My eyes are my favourite part of me, not for how they look....but for how they see! Each year that passes and the more people I meet the more apparent it seems that I see the world quite different to the “average person” and I’m only just getting comfortable with admitting it. I see endless possibilities, endless love, endless happiness, sometimes the darkest places where most people look to give up. I was put on this earth for a reason: to enrich, empower, educate and inspire as many people as I possibly can. In the end, life is what you make it, or more to the point, how you perceive it. WARM UPS 101🏋🏻 by @physiotrition 💪🏽Warms ups are vital and should never be skipped. The whole physiological premise of stretching is to increase the tissue temperature, which has been shown to decrease risk of injury (Fradkin et al., 2006). As well as this Fradkin (2010) conducted a meta-analysis of 32 studies looking at warming up and performance. They found that warming up increased performance in 79% of the criterions examined✅ . 🤸🏻‍♂️Behm et al., (2011) performed a review on the effects of dynamic and static stretching on performance. They found that static stretching had significant impairments to performance, while dynamic stretching was shown to have no effect or augment subsequent performance. They also went on to state that static stretches lasting <30s per muscle "may not negatively impact subsequent performance". Static stretching should be performed along with dynamic and always before it (Taylor et al., 2008)✅ . 🔥As well as this I feel that a quick bout of self-myofascial release (foam rolling) is beneficial. MacDonald et al. (2013), found that it increased ROM without a subsequent decrease in muscle activation or force✌🏽 . 🤙Tag a friend who needs to know this!
