We often take yoga too seriously, letting the ego get in the way. I remember being a little girl, at home in my bedroom, saying to myself and others "I just want to go home". It was a bizarre thing to say, think and feel at such a young age, but nonetheless those memories stand out to me. • I experienced what felt like Home to me in my late twenties when I was head over heels in love with the love of my life. That feeling solidified when we moved to Toronto, and what's fascinating is even when worst case scenario happened and I was left to face this big ass city on my own, getting up and fighting an invisible battle every day, overcoming unimaginable hurdles every day, I realized I still felt this feeling of Home. • After spending 2 weeks back "home", I've returned back to this big ass city with courage that I can handle anything this city and this life throws my way. I have found Home within me, it just took life experience, resilience and tenacity to find it. Alberta will always be home, but that little girl in her bedroom "wanting to go home"? She's found it, and it was inside of her all along. I have come across hundreds of pages and blogs about fashion, travel, mental awareness, lifestyle and what not but very few of people sharing their views on headaches or migraines. A lot of people don't know what exactly a person goes through when they are suffering with severe headaches, speaking of which I myself don't know what I feel. I'm so tired of people telling me, "Sleep it off", "Told you not to drink coffee", "you don't look sick", "you were just fine sometime ago", like hell I don't know that I was fine sometime ago. Then again I don't blame people for this because it's impossible for them to understand what exactly we feel. It's sad how we just share the best moments of our life and not the real moments. for people who know me, I am an addict) is something. It is not easy for me to follow Medication because I personally do not believe in it, so I know for a fact that even I take medicines it won't help me and its really hard to change something you believe in. But I do try now and then to take my medicines. I'm just going to end it by saying that no matter how bad it is, I know it seems like it's never ever going to go away but it will. If you lose hope, its difficult trust me guys. Stay healthy. Wir haben dazu einen Blogbeitrag verfasst. (Link in der Bio👆) . Menschen, die unter einem MÜK leiden, pausieren unter ärztlicher Aufsicht für mehrere Wochen die Medikamenteneinnahmen komplett. . ☆New Blog - The Importance of Being Honest With Where You're At☆ (link in bio) • A few weeks ago I survived one of the worst migraine cycles I've ever experienced, lasting 16 days and triggered a lot of anxiety, along with the darkest depressive episode I've ever experienced. This is my story. • I write about how I was fine, until I wasn't. About how hard it was for me to talk about it and ask for help. How I kept going, barely surviving, because I had to. About how lonely this journey can be, and how I finally made the decision to get professional help again. • It's a bizarre feeling, being in a dark depression and pain cycle while feeling so grounded and trusting that this is where I'm meant to be, and this too shall pass. It was so freeing to write this, but also terrifyingly vulnerable. The reality is, life changes moment by moment, breath by breath. I do my best to observe where I'm at, accept it and move through it as easily as I'm able, reaching out my hand for that loving squeeze when I need it. The #headache part of a migraine is the 3rd phase of a #migraineattack. All of these other lovely symptoms accompany migraine during the 3 other phases. I always have a baseline headache, which my specialist says will be the last thing to go, but the head pain and all the other #symptoms vary at any given moment and affect my functionality. • Advocacy and education are so important. Migraine is a neurological disease that affects 1 in 7 people, whether that be on an episodic basis (every once in a while to 14 days per month) or a chronic basis (15+ days per month).
