This post is about bodyweight training + progressions. Here I'm performing 8 chins; throughout my bodybuilding prep as I was leaning up I was performing 11 chins. I have not lost strength, I have simply put on weight and obviously as you are lifting your own body you're not going to be able to perform as many. Make sure before you are too critical on some of your bodyweight lifts that you have recognized that it may just be some weight gain and that your strength gains are in fact increasing (pushups, chin ups etc.)

#tellergold 🍽 Couscous „1001 Nacht“ 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ Kleine Zubereitungsbeschreibung, für ein bis zwei Portionen, je nach Hunger. Für mich war es eine 😁 15g Rosinen in einem Schälchen mit kochendem Wasser übergießen und zur Seite stellen, das gleiche mit 2 Datteln oder Trockenpflaumen machen. 2 Nelken, Samen aus 2 Kardamomkapseln, 1 Sternanis in einem Topf anrösten. Wenn es herrlich duftet, mit 100ml frisch gepresstem O-Saft und 200ml Mandelmilch ablöschen und ½ TL Kurkuma, ½ TL Zimt, etwas Ingwer, eine Prise Salz und eine Prise Pfeffer dazugeben. Aufkochen lassen und dann 100g Couscous (Ich hatte Dinkelvollkorn) einrühren, 2, 3 Minuten köcheln und dann ca 10 Minuten ausquellen lassen. Währenddessen 15g Cashewkerne (oder Nüsse nach Wahl, ich nehme auch gerne Mandeln) trocken in einer Pfanne anrösten und Obst Eurer Wahl dazu dünsten und vielleicht auch noch mit etwas Zimt würzen. Wenn der Couscous fertig ist, einen TL Kokosöl unterrühren und die Trockenfrüchte abgießen (oder das Wasser noch unter den Couscous geben, wenn Ihr ihn noch etwas feuchter haben wollt). Nelken und Sternanis aus dem Couscous sammeln nicht vergessen, dann die Rosinen unterrühren, die größeren Trockenfrüchte klein schneiden und mit dem Obst und den Cashewkernen über den Couscous geben. Fertig 😊 Ich hab auch noch etwas Kokosjoghurt dazu gegessen, da es dieses Mal quasi Frühstück und Mittag in einem für mich war. Ich liebe dieses Frühstück! Steht in direkter „Konkurrenz“ mit dem Kokos-Mohn-Milchreis mit Orangensoße 😱 genießt Euren Sonntag!🙏🏻💚🕉

#selfcareisntselfish ⁣ If you do anything today take time for yourself! Pop a face mask on, wash your hair even just meditate! Do something for you! 🧖🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Tonight I’m having a soak and letting my muscles relax. My job is very draining mentally and physically and iv become addicted to baths because I just feel so good after them, especially when my oils are included 😏☺️🛁 #bathqueen ⁣ ⁣ Magnesium soak is wonderful at relaxing the body and releasing stress and tension. I like to place 1 cup of salts in a bowl and then add a tablespoon of bicarbonate soda and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Bicarbonate soda is a gentle exfoliant and leaves your skin feeling super soft, where the coconut oil helps the essential oils penetrate into your skin so you get maximum benefit 🙌🏻and just make sure you are drinking lots of water while in the bath ⁣ My oils of choice always differ, but tonight iv chosen the following! ⁣ 🍃marjoram: great for any inflammation, and is calming for any muscles that constrict and can contribute to headaches⁣ ⁣ 🍃cypress: helps with circulation within the body, muscle cramps, nervous system tension and reduces cellulite ⁣ ⁣ 🍃vetiver: natural tranquilliser, I get out of the bath floating on air and as soon as my head hits the pillow I am out cold! My number one tip to take control of your diet: FOOD PREP the shit out of your week ahead 👊🏼 Making decisions of what you want to eat at 12pm on a Monday when all you feel like is a pick me up to get through the day is dangerous because you will more likely go for the unhealthy choices. Do your body a favour and invest some time to invest in your health.
