I've been taking a lot of baths lately. It's one of my means to unapologetic self-care, which I see as necessary rather than discretionary. It's how I remind myself that I'm loved. Muy en línea con mi post anterior sobre Mindfulness, cuando experimentamos el estado flow estamos presentes, concentrados e inmersos en una situación que nos genera un estado emocional muy positivo donde el tiempo vuela, el ego desaparece, sentimos felicidad y bienestar. . Sin dudas los atardeceres suelen llevarme a este estado y me gustaría detener el tiempo. Combinado con la energía del mar todo se potencia aún más. The next story I would like to share you is from the time I was 9-17 years old. We had moved house and is house was very active. I could regularly hear spirts in the kitchen. Chopping foods and opening cupboards in the early hours of the morning. Unfamiliar voices chatting away. Most nights I would be woken by a male voice loudly whistling a tune, up the stairs. When everyone was asleep in bed. This used to send a cold shiver down my spine. Sometimes my family could hear these activities and sometimes they could not. But one activity we need all witnessed was when talking about loved ones the light would dim low and brighten back up. Or when the tv channel’s used to change or turn off completely and come back on. This was the time when my family became aware of my gifts. Every now and again they would take me to the local spiritualist church. But I never did vibe with the mediums nor the religious factor. So as time passed without learning to control my gifts they started to became muted and fuzzy, until I stoped noticing them.. *This is a picture of my mother, myself and Derek Arcorah , back in 2008. I didn't know what I was doing. I just new that where I was in that current moment was not where I wanted to be in life. Do you know that feeling? When you know that you're meant for more, but your circumstances tell you otherwise? I remember so clearly driving to Santa Barbara with my ex-boyfriend in the car. We stopped at the gas station to grab some hot dogs and all I remember from that interaction is me saying "I know I'm meant to do great things."(Random timing, right?) But all it took was a feeling for me to know that where I was and where I wanted to be were not in alignment. Those undeniable feelings (no matter where they come from) are our inner guidance system.--They're consistent and they're strong. Personally, that feeling ultimately led me to leave that relationship behind. It led me to be on my own, for longer than I've ever been, in order to re-discover who I was and what I wanted... Ultimately leading me to where I am now, with a much more nourishing relationship, purpose for life and an excitment for all the amazing things to come. Our feelings are a language of a much deeper and spiritual part of ourselves ♡ Be curious about them and don't be afraid to listen!

I need your help! . For the first six months of this year I worked as a fitness coach in a facility teaching group fitness classes and was waking up at 4am and it was the worst. Do you know the magic of forest bathing?! Simply immersing ourselves into the trees, and breathing in the earth can: 🎆reduce stress 🎆improves sleep quality 🎆improves mood 🎆lower blood pressure 🎆increase energy level 🎆increase ability to focus I took my time climbing to the top of the butte, walking slowly and mindfully, rather than mindlessly race to the top. I wanted to be intentional, since I already master the art of thinking of “the next thing”. I stopped at multiple break spots, breathing in my surroundings and just “being”. I spent a few hours slowly making my way to the top, and finally- viewing the incredible landscape that surrounds the butte once I reached the top. I sat quietly, observing, feeling gratitude, and silently celebrating with others as they joined the top of the butte with a sense of accomplishment. On my trek back down the butte, through the colorful leafy trails, I felt lighter. Lifted. Energized. Recallibrated. Do you ever feel like you’re self-sabotaging? Or that inner warrior is just not helping you get to where you mind wants you to do? 🤔 . . Sometimes we create a little havoc in our life which makes us walk away from our wild, natural way of being in the world and the part that stays connected. This can be in work, relationships, ideas, art, and so many more areas. 👐 . . There is an innate predator inside of us that sometimes gets loose, making us doubt and degrade our intuition, instinct, endurance, far vision, tenacity, and the tending to our soul’s creative, productive nature. The predator inside us can be sinister and can create barriers. 🤷‍♀️ . .  Don’t be caught off guard. Stay conscious. 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♂️ . . Know that parts of our psyche wants us to be disconnected. To struggle. To catch us off guard. To believe something is fruitless. To be safe in our boundaries and be limited when we don’t choose risk or wonder. To stop following our dreams and fulfill the needs of the soul. 🥰 . .  Ask yourself the right questions about what makes you stop and what thwarts you in creating your magic. Is it really because it can’t be achieved, or is it the malevolent predator that lurks and demolishes our sense of follow-through? ✒ . . Stay on your team. See your potential. Know that your intuition is right. Trust it. Stand BY yourself and don’t talk yourself out of what you want. Nix obedience to the predator, and silence this part of yourself. The crucial move for the construction of deliberate attention # is simple: when your mind wanders, bring it back to the desired point of focus and strive to blanket it there for as long as possible. Exercises to increase our focus on building concentration becoming more stable and assertive in everyday life and still make us more adaptable, thus recovering more quickly from any stresses of everyday life. One tip is easily implemented whenever possible to bring attention to your breath, whatever you're doing, so the attention is brought to the present time increasing the amount of energy deposited in the task accomplished, becoming more efficient and increasing our performance.
