Day 4 of my reset which means my second day of a double cleanse, this time the tables are turned and today is 20% toxin removal and 80% removing that yucky visceral fat, you know the fat all around your organs. . . You could be the skinniest person but without awesome nutrition and regular cleansing could have rediculous amounts of visceral fat. . . I always find the second day easier than the first and can’t wait to have those cleanse day feels tomorrow

I needed this ugly workout. I had to modify so many times because I just wasn’t feeling it this morning... but I NEEDED IT! I’ve been battling with my anxiety this week bad. Feeling like I’m not good enough- I’m not enough. Feeling so incredibly alone in this big world. All of which are complete lies. Today I woke up and decided enough is enough- someone else will NOT define my day. I will NOT allow anything to make me feel as though I am not enough or that I am not a great person. Happy hump day! 🐪 Exactly 3 weeks post surgery today and I ran for 30 min / 3.3 miles (9:17 pace). Still can’t say that my run felt good BUT it was better than 2 days ago, and for that I am thankful. Hoping the trend continues and each day will be a little better than the last! Eager to feel fit again 😬

. . I am somewhat of a creature of habit so the thought of a new gym really isn't a thought for me... until yesterday. . . I ended up at Crunch because the Planet Fitness I was trying to go to didn’t have free parking 😳. . . The folks at Crunch invited me to come back for a full workout, which I did this morning. I told myself to be open minded but in all honesty, it wasn’t a hard sell. They have state of the art equipment, a wide selection of classes… generally, I don’t do classes but they have a boxing class so I’m gonna do that AND they have a hydro massage chair 🎉. The hip circle is a MUST HAVE in the training tools department! . Although this piece of equipment is beyond simple, it proves extremely progressive for multiple reasons! . 1. It is a great tool for targetting the glutes and abductors, contributing to the strengthening of the supporting muscles of the hips and posterior chain that are often neglected. Exercises incorporating the hip circle can be used as both warm up drills or as working sets during a training session! 2. The hip circle when incorporated on squat variations provides a physical cue to actively drive the knees out against the band tension which will assist with the improvement of your squat execution long term. 3. Although a basic tension band, the hip circle proves extremely versatile relative to potential exercise selection. With a little bit of creativity you'll quickly find that there are many exercises that can be done! 4. Another added benefit of the hip circle is the reality that it can easily travel with you as it weighs next to nothing and can easily be tucked into your gym bag or further your luggage when travelling to ensure that you have access to a tool that can help with training maintenance while out of town for business or pleasure! . 6 AM boxing class followed by crossfit WOD. It was all strength. I went super lightweight for the first 2 rounds and should have gone lighter for the last. My back is feeling all those deadlifts, especially after all the overhead squats. Bar Star 7 min AMRAP with 3 min rest each round Round 1: Overhead Squats 50 OHS (105/85) 50 OHS (125/95) Remaining time (135/105) Round 2: bench press add weight each set of 50 50 flat bench press 50 flat bench press More bench press Round 3: deadlifts 50 deadlifts (155/125) 50 deadlifts (175/135) Remaining time (195/155) I'm not really sure on the Rx weights since I looked, laughed, and said nah.
