This is how I'm always able to go a bit further and push a little harder in any activity that I participate. ⁣ ⁣ I got on my bike for the first time since October and cycle for 1.5hr when the goal was just 30mins. After the cycling session, I set out for an 8 mile run, but I ended up running 12 miles. ⁣ ⁣ Saturday morning workout done! Lifting a weight that you’re use to lifting, checking ya self out in the mirror haha everything is fine at this point, you’re comfortable! It’s normal. You may even have a few fans looking at you from a distance.! ! ! But what about the few of us that are continually trying to progress! That doesn’t look pretty at times. When I found out my team conference would be in Arizona 🙌🏻 Originally the plan was to do this on Valentine’s Day and I would have gone alone, but sometimes you have detours and things don’t go as planned... I was able to inspire my peeps/teammates to come with me when I was rebooking! Being able to share this amazing experience with them was so much fun! ✅How to become more focused: . Focus is derived from discipline. We live in a world where we crave instant gratification. Nothing great in life comes easy. It’s easier to eat junk than to eat healthy. It’s easier to watch TV than to go workout. It’s easier to fantasize at home on your computer rather than go out and learn social dynamics. . 1️⃣Burning Desire. If you have a big enough DESIRE, a big purpose, mission, dream…then you’ll automatically be willing to work harder. Your BURNING DESIRE keeps you going. Your BURNING DESIRE keeps you up at night when you’re tired. Your BURNING DESIRE makes you get back up after failure or rejection. . 2️⃣Train your prefrontal cortex. The is the part of your brain that snaps you into focus even though you don’t feel like doing it. Just like any other area of your brain, you can train it. Take cold showers, meditate, do yoga, train yourself to do difficult things. With time it will grow stronger and your discipline will grow. . 3️⃣Consistency. Often times, people will go to the gym or learn game and hit it extremely hard for two weeks. I’m more impressed with the guy that goes out and puts in a few hours a day for the rest of his life. Put in the hours, every day, every week, every month, every year. Success is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. So is developing discipline. . 4️⃣Do something that you’re afraid of every day. Seek discomfort every day. Just a little bit. Piece by piece and you will slowly start to rewire your brain (focus) for the better.
