A huge benefit to the cable crunch is the ability to switch the resistance quickly and can be done with twists or to the side to hit the obliques. See instructions below⬇️ * 1️⃣Kneel with feet in front of a cable system with a rope attached✅ * 2️⃣After selecting an appropriate weight, grasp the rope with both hands reaching overhead. <<SWIPE LEFT<< - When I started training, I used to have a rounded forward posture. I was hunched forward a lot and did more chest training than I did back. I eventually paid the price for this by getting a nasty shoulder injury. Since then, I've been focused on keeping proper shoulder balance to maintain shoulder health. - If you currently struggle with "rounded forward shoulders" yourself, one thing that'll probably help is training external shoulder rotation. Through exercises like facepulls and cable external rotation (swipe left for videos), you train the muscles that help you pull and rotate your shoulders back into position again. - Next to training the shoulder external rotators and your upper back more, it's also critical you're mindful of posture throughout the day. Yes I call traps Diglets... sue me. • I never actually train my traps specifically with isolated movements and I don't know many women who do other than physique/women's bodybuilding competitor's, mostly I think because if you're not going for the giant trap look theres just really no need. Like I said though, mine are developed pretty well just due to bad form when I first started training (without a coach lmao amateur) and of course some residual engagement from other movements which is how they'll get hit most of the time without that isolation I was talking about. • Again, the most aesthetic looking shoulders, in my opinion, are shoulders that are defined from every angle and each component has its moment not overshadowed by other parts. Traps included! So a little definition is a great thing!!! SHOULDERS✖✖✖ Feels like I haven't posted upperbody workouts here so here it is🤗 ➡Dumbbell squat+ shoulder raises. This is a great warmup move when doing shoulders plus it also works the overall body. ➡Front dumbbell flys. This works the anterior part of the deltoid (a hella lot😝) ➡Dumbell raises from front to rear. The slower you go, the harder it becomes! ➡Dumbell front rows. You could perform it with a barbell too! Weight Loss vs Weight Gain with Hamburgers and Sweet Potato Fries. If you need any recipes for meal prepping on this Meal Prep Sunday visit my website. There are a number of recipes for breakfast and entrees under the recipes tab. I also have two digital cookbooks available each with 30 recipes specifically designed for meal prep! . . Sometimes there are weeks where i crave a classic burger and fries. Any form of ground meat tends to be a great choice for meal prep because it heats up better than its original state. You won’t lose flavor or texture and the fat content of the beef helps it heat more efficiently in the microwave. I’m often asked how I keep the fries crispy in the microwave and the answer is you don’t. I’m not sure it’s even possible to keep them crispy if you reheat using a microwave. If crispiness is something that you need, I would use a toaster oven or a skillet to reheat. I actually like the soft texture they get from the microwave. It reminds me of bread and because I don’t eat bread, it’s a nice reminder of what I’m missing out on 😎 . . The left side has a 4 oz burger and the left side has a few patties to equate to about 10oz of meat. If you wanted to lower the calorie load of the left side even farther you could swap the beef for a leaner cut of ground turkey. One thing to note is that ground turkey really isn’t any “healthier” than ground beef. Many people believe it is because it isn’t red meat. When you choose beef and turkey with an equal fat content the macronutrient and caloric load is fairly similar. Most turkey is leaner than 85% though which is why it is perceived as healthier. Depending on what side of nutritional literature you choose to subscribe to you may or may not believe red meat to have an association to heart disease. From the collection of data I have read, I don’t think there is consensus for either side.
