Daily Reading: You need to step out into the light just like Rose's stand out compared to any other flower. Usually you just notice a rose even when they are not standing out you need to be the same way. Rose's always gather together even if not by choice. The same way like minded people gather together. Just stay true to who you are. And trust that everything will work out no matter how the illusions present themselves. Your going through your own gates of heaven. You have to acknowledge the fact you can't get to your personal slice of heaven on someone or something else ability. And just like you have to acknowledge this fact also acknowledge that you can't help anyone/anything else ability to get their own personal slice of heaven. You can help guide and show them the way but they have to be willing to do the work for themselves. Also this is a time to reflect and reorganize that what you think you need is actually positive and uplifting for yourself. It's time to cut the cords/energy/attachment/connections that no longer are serving you in your highest potential. Also this card represents if your about to do a cleansing or have just done one it's working. And the 2nd if a loved one has just passed away they are at peace and any loving prayers will only benefit them along their journey. CALL back all your energies that you have scattered around your environments. It's no longer a time to be afraid of your own inner power. Just like a tree needs to reach deep into the earth and draw nourishment so do you need nourishment. Your soul needs some more earth and water energy to grow and shine. Your negative emotions and your shadow self are great nourishment for your soul. Your soul wants you to LOVE ALL PARTS of yourself. Its asking you to acknowledge that everything serves you even the worst destructive part of you. This is guidance to take a moment to explore that area of your life. Shadow self isnt negative to you ie if your a introvert slowly do extrovert activities to help you. This Oracle is asking where can you find nourishing activities for your life. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, set aside. 3. Mix all wet ingredients together. 4. Combine wet into dry and mix until incorporated. 5. Fill piping bag with donut batter. 6. Grease 12 cup donut pan with coconut oil. 7. Pipe batter into donut pan; all of the batter must be used. 8. Bake donuts in oven for 20 mins (15 mins lower rack, 5 mins higher rack). 9. Let cool completely. 10. Combine glaze ingredients and coal donuts by dipping them in glaze. I wanted to start talking more about gut health and hypothyroidism on here more than I have. To be honest, I’ve given up. The more I learned about it, and read about it, I got jaded. What is a FODMAP? Does gluten hurt me? Does dairy hurt me? THEN, I learned that your digestive system can be messed up from eating disorders and restricting. I thought back, did I even have problem with food before I started restricting? I remember when I began my disordered eating in high school, my stomach hurt for a few weeks, about a month into it. I remember being so happy, and saying hat it hurt because I was “changing my diet”, and it wasn’t used to eating healthy foods. So, here’s where I’m at. I’m not here to teach, I’m here to learn and start a community. When you make a “burger” out of veggies and it’s husband approved you know you’ve nailed it! BEET BURGERS 🍔🤤 . Recipe/method: 2-3 peeled raw beets 1 small onion 2 garlic cloves 2 eggs 1/2 cup chickpeas 1 cup gluten free rolled oats 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 chili flakes Place everything in a food processor. Process 1-2 minutes. Let mixture sit for 5 minutes in order for the oats to soak up the moisture (if needed add 1/4 cup more oats) Form into patties and place in pan with a small amount of coconut oil. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes flipping halfway through! . Serve with your favorite burger toppings! I usually eat them with a lettuce bun or sans bun mostly because I prefer to eat more fries, but that’s just me 🤷🏻‍♀️ #thebalancedbutton #beetburger #veggieburger . . .

Plus when you bring your own dish, you’ll know you have something that you can enjoy yourself🤤⠀ ⠀ Filling⠀ 12 medjool dates⠀ ½ cup toasted white sesame seeds⠀ 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut⠀ 1 tsp vanilla⠀ ½ tsp ginger⠀ ¼ tsp cinnamon⠀ pinch of Himalayan salt⠀ 2 tbsp hemp hearts⠀ ⠀ Topping⠀ ¼ cup coconut milk⠀ 1¼ cups camino bittersweet chocolate⠀ ½ tsp vanilla ⠀ pinch of Himalayan salt⠀ ⠀ Makes 24 mini tarts⠀ ⠀ - Mix all of the filling ingredients in the food processor ⠀ - Firmly press 1½-2 tbsp into a mini cupcake lined pan so that they are flat. (You could probably also do regular sized.)⠀ - In a small pot heat the coconut milk, vanilla and salt until it is starting to steam. Do not boil⠀ - Turn off the heat⠀ - Add the bittersweet chocolate and stir once⠀ - Let sit for about five minutes, then stir gently ⠀ ⠀ - It may separate slightly, but simply spoon on top, smooth out to the edges⠀ - You do not want to cook the chocolate, so make sure you turn off the heat or it may seize up on you⠀ - Sprinkle with coconut⠀ - Put in the fridge until firm #healthyholidays #holidayrecipes #holidayfood⠀

toast Tuesday-ing with this basic AF plate 🤭 - sometimes basic is best in my opinion. I love my toast reaaaaal crispy almost burnt + I always go for @foodforlifebaking ezekiel, the one with the oats on the crust is my fave! - I left my toast dry because I love runny yolks, @vitalfarms eggs are my go to because they’re pasture raised + not kept in a cramped cage with improper nourishment, they’re free to roam as they please which results in better more nutrient dense eggs! - I topped them with @traderjoes everything but the bagel, I kinda wish I never bought this because now I can’t NOT eat it like every damn day. anyone else with me on this?! #addicted

Intuitive Eating... Day 18 @iammelwells @theselflovesummit #adventchallenge is to eat with intention. This is definitely something I’m still learning but when I said no to diets and unhealthy food patterns and having done a lot of work with @iammelwells I can certainly say I’m much better at eating intuitively and will recognise if my body wants that juice or that chocolate bar and will respond accordingly. No food is ever off the menu these days. Saying that having noticed yesterday how I always have my phone at the dinner table means that will be the first thing to go this evening when I enjoy these nourishing stuffed peppers. Secondly I will be slowing down and savouring every mouthful as I never want this meal to end as I enjoy it so much. There is something intrinsically beautiful about not having the things I need and the ability to still survive without them. It has forced me to appreciate the human experience for all that it is. To question this body, mind, spirit...essence. How do we keep going? How do we continue to exist if what we thought was holding it all together suddenly disappears? And yet, I somehow managed to pick up all the pieces. And leave some in the dust along the way. Continuing my life with an aching heart. Hurting on a level I am not sure I will ever fully understand or be able to put into words. It is literally physical pain from an emotional place and it ripped my entire world apart. It brought me to my knees. It lives inside the core of who I am. And still. I am Growing. Changing. Evolving. Surviving. Humans are incredible. I will forever be humbled by what we are emotionally capable of. I am actually doing it. I am living. I am breathing. I am raw. I am showing up. I am open. I kept going. I keep going. I continue moving. I am bewildered by my strength. Astonished by my perseverance. Astounded by my resilience. We are warriors of our own lives. The battle scars from mine run deep and will never fully heal. But I have walked with darkness and am finally beginning to see a tiny bit of light. I have remained steadfast. I have trusted. Because she knew I would be okay without her. She knew my strength. She always knew. And I am so damn proud of myself. Proud of her. Proud of us. Our bond will forever remain the most profound love I have ever known. Having her gave me something invaluable, the capacity to know true happiness. And losing her has shown me gratitude in just how rare that is.

But let me tell you: you are not only consuming fructose (the fruit sugar), but also a whole lot of fiber, vitamins and minerals. .. Fiber is important for our digestive health and for the bowel movement. It also keeps us full for longer and prevents your blood sugar from spiking. That’s because the fiber helps to slow down how the body absorbs these sugars. Thus, You would have to eat a whole lot of fruits to get a real blood sugar spike from fruits! .. I personally am a huge fan of fruits and they are part of my breakfast every single day. #transformationtuesday 👶 💪🏻 Empowering my lady clients who are post baby and have been struggling with weight and low energy is very gratifying as I understand the struggle and was there myself. I thought I’d share with you just a little collage of this stage; beginning of my childbearing journey; on the left, having my first baby Rosie, and on the right with my 8th baby Hillel. After my first few babies I had gained a lot of weight and was feeling down about myself. I couldn’t stand to stay in that place and knew I could either continue to let it bring me down or do something about it to lift myself up, so I decided to lose weight in a healthy way through balanced eating and exercise. This lead to growth in independence and empowerment over the years in other areas of my life giving me the strength, energy and confidence in my every day. I have continued on this path whilst having more children till today. It’s not an easy change to make, and some times it can be challenging where I feel like I’m letting go but then get right back on it knowing the strength it gives me! We have a lot to deal with as mothers, wives, work and everything in between, but instead of having the feeling of insecurity or low energy through it all, we have the power to change that if we desire, lift ourselves up as best we can through the ups and downs of our lives, through physical balanced nutrition and exercise which in turn affects us positively on a much deeper level too.
