Every Wednesday I will be releasing one of my workout videos I use to provide exceptional service to my clients all around the world and in my local gym by developing customized video lead workout plans. . In this photo I am eating out at dinner with my girlfriend, but I brought my meal to ensure that I stick to my diet, as my goal is to be the best bodybuilder AND the best boyfriend I can be. . You may think it would be depressing to have to eat a home cooked meal while out to dinner, but I don’t. . What I have realized is what type of sacrifice I am willing to make and what sacrifice I am NOT willing to make. . I am willing to make the sacrifice necessary to eat the meals on my diet plan to be the best bodybuilder I can be, but I AM NOT WILLING TO SACRIFICE spending quality time with my girlfriend @puurrrl . . In one person’s perspective this may be too much of a sacrifice, but in my opinion, going out and having a good time with my gf, while sticking exactly to my plan, beats both the alternatives of: . 1) staying in and not going out . or . 2) saying screw my diet/bb goals and eating whatever I want. . Right at the end of 2018 I was talking to a girlfriend about my goals for 2019. I told her everything I wanted to accomplish this year, and she said: . “Okay, those are your physical and career goals, but what about YOU?” . If someone asked you to list your goals, how long would it take for you to list your peace of mind or strong mental health. . Since that conversation I’ve tried to be super aware of what MENTALLY makes me feel good. And right at the beginning of the year I failed at this. I thought giving myself time to relax, do nothing, and eat whatever I wanted would give me a chance to feel less stressed. NOPE. . Completely backfired. In the past three days that I’ve been taking time to REALLY focus on my nutrition and workouts again, my MIND is feeling much better. I have more energy, less brain fog, and less anxiety. . I’m also taking the time to make sure I get to actually calm my mind. I’ve been reading more just for fun and taking time to cuddle with my dog. . Not every moment of your life has to be “productive” but you do need to focus on what’s going to make you feel better long term. This lady signed up for my online coaching course last August. During the 6 week course she lost a stone in weight. Since then she has gone on to lose another stone. Espaguete de pupunha com salmão ao pesto. Muitos pacientes reclamam da consistência dura do pupunha e deixam de consumir. Ontem, no supermercado, achei o palmito de pupunha da marca Bonduelle, que é super macio! Por se tratar de um palmito em conserva, antes de saltear na frigideira com azeite, coloquei o espaguete na peneira e deixei em baixo da torneira🚰 para retirar o excesso de sódio. Para temperar usei um mix de temperos caseiro (minha mãe compra ervas secas, tomate e cenoura desidratadas e mistura tudo, sem sal 🧂). O molho pesto não é caseiro, mas a lista de ingredientes é TOP. Deixei todas as fotos nesse post para vocês. Dentre os milhares de produtos que estão ao nosso alcance, sempre podemos fazer as melhores escolhas 😉 e para isso é muito importante ler a lista de ingredientes ‼️

Think about this one. We have become so fixated on there needing to be some miracle product that we have created a fearful mindset of all things “real food”. You CAN eat #carbs and dessert and fruit and beer and salad and steak and pasta and still reach your goals. The question is are you willing to believe that that is a true statement? Those celebrity athletes, actors, models you see with their “perfect” bodies didn’t get them by swallowing pills and mixing powders...they got them from fueling their bodies with nutrient dense food, conditioning muscles with appropriate training and DOING IT OVER AND OVER #consistencyiskey #eatallthethings

An insight into my daily intake of food - details below ⬇️. . *In a 24 hour window I will eat food within 12 hours e.g. 9am to 9pm, and then for the other 12 hours I will fast. Once i start eating I won't go longer than 2 hours without food.* . 9am - mixed fruit. . 11am - mixed nuts and legumes. . 1pm - chicken soup, dumplings, green veg, eggs and rice. . 3pm - steak and salad. . 4-8pm - banana, sandwich and kefir. . 9pm - potatoes, fish and veg plus a wee treat if it's going for afters 😏. . If you zoom in on my lat muscle you’ll see that this exercise is perfect for achieving that fullllll stretch which means best growth🧐🧐 - Some people like to do these perpendicular to the bench, I tried that and like this way much better🤙🏽🤙🏽 - Shoutout my guy @mark_adams11 for filming this💯💯 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Tips for this movement: 🧠🧠 1️⃣ Make sure your feet and ass are firmly planted on the ground and bench respectively 2️⃣ Wedge your shoulder blades into the bench, much like you would for flat barbell bench 3️⃣ Make a triangle with your hands, like you’re catching a football, and only push the dumbbell through your palms 4️⃣ Keep a slight arch in your back, and only go as far back with the dumbbell as your shoulders are comfortable with (you don’t need to go as far as me, my shoulders are flexible) 5️⃣ Squeeze at the top of the movement and go slow on the negative 6️⃣ The dumbbell is essentially traveling on a quarter circle path from the top to bottom and back

I said I'm bringing more food & nutrition posts! I've been transitioning, especially the last 5 months, into more nutrient rich, plant based eating habits. I love what it's done for me - nourishing my entire being, rather than just feeding my body! I allow my self to indulge now & then, but each day is a journey toward making this intention an integral part of my life. My mind is more clear (and so is my skin!), my energy is more balanced, my body is less inflamed & I feel more connected to my spirit than ever. I didn't intend to ever detox, or ever intend on fasting - but I do both as my body asks/signals. I am tuned in like a pin to my body's signals, feelings, wants & needs. & damn, it feels good, to know what I need to do for my health. 🌱 Nutrition is definitely not a One Size Fits All & is not about restriction! Life's too short to worry about whether or not we should eat something 💚 I practice accepting where I'm at, while still making choices that serve my higher self & allow me to think, feel & show up my very best. Throwing toxicity into my body only breeds toxicity throughout my entire life - I've learned that if I want to be connected to my intuition, maintain a positive mental attitude, take care of my emotional health & feel my physical best, I need to provide my self consistently with whole & naturally sourced foods. If your mind, body or spirit lack what they need, you'll eventually try to make up for it by filling the void via ego behavior (binging, drugs, alcohol, shopping, sex, etc...). We're different, we all cope, learn & grow differently. Just because I do something one way, your partner does it another & someone else looks great doing what they do, doesn't mean it's what YOU need right now! 🌱 I can't emphasize the importance of learning to tune in to your self & simply listen! Your body knows & is TELLING you exactly what you need. If you don't know where to start, you can always work with someone you relate to & trust (like my self, or another great coach/mentor out there) to help you find the authentic approach that will allow you to feel your absolute best too. 🌱 Recipe for this oatmeal deliciousness is in my highlight section! 💚🙏

💥 LEG DAY FINISHER 💥 This drop set had my quads on fire at the end of my leg day! I love doing drop sets because they dramatically make a difference in my strength and burn out the muscle quickly. FYI - if your face doesn’t look like mine...you’re doing it wrong! Start at a high weight that you are comfortable with, then immediately drop the weight a few levels, then drop the weight again and get those reps until failure! For this lift (Leg Extensions), I did the following drop in weight 140lbs-80lbs-55lbs. Coach: @phoenix_firemunson

🌿GET HEALTHY🌿 its Wednesday, half way through the week, and it’s almost been a week that I’m back from the west coast! Time flies, although I ate exceptionally well when being on vacay, I still cheated with all the eating out, I don’t regret it in least bit, as I got to enjoy amazing eats in @vegas @losangeles_city 😋 Part of my goals for 2019 is to get even healthier in terms of my eating habits and keeping my body always moving 🙌 But, you just got to do it, getting back on track is crucial for me, as I tend to lead a more clean and healthy lifestyle!
