The perturbation improves reactive muscle contraction to stay still stable. How to spot a partner? For some coaches and trainees spotting seems to be something difficult. Just follow these rules for optimal spotting technique: 👉 just help when the weight is not moving any more. In other cases stay away with your hands from the weight! 👉focus on your partner and not on your smartphone or the girl training next to you! 👉 just help as much as needed. Don‘t throw the weight! 👉 look for a stable position. For some exercises you need to focus on how to position yourself! 👉 get out of the way! Don‘t spot the squat unless there are two spotters. The Garhammer Raise: great abdominal exercise I learned from C. Poliquin for improved motor control of the abs and lumbopelvic stability. This one also improves the thoracolumbar junction. Focus on anterior tilting the hips and rolling up without flexing the hips any further. Keep the hips flexed at about 90°, the knees flexed 90°, the hips in IR, heels out. Diaphragm Stretch: to improve to function of your diaphragm and taking control of your sympathetic nervous system you might have to stretch your diaphragm. The function of the diaphragm is deeply correlated to the function of your autonomic nervous system. Lay down on the floor and put your arms above your head. Inhale to begin and exhale while rolling up your spine. Inhale while rolling down.
