📎 Patience is absolutely key to ANY fitness goals you have. . Whether it’s to lose weight, build muscle or run 10k, you have to trust the process and stick with it. . For me, I haven’t got the best genetics in the world and it’s taken me a lot more time than it would have taken others to get to my current point in my training. . But I’ve just stuck with it, trained as best as I CAN whilst allowing myself to have a social life, I’ve eaten the best I CAN whilst not just eating chicken and rice and never going out for a meal. . See there will always be OPTIMAL but what OPTIMAL is kind of doesn’t work for 99.999% of people. What you’ve got to find is YOUR optimal. . Is that training twice a week from home, trying to cook slightly nutritionally dense meals with your family and maybe losing weight at about 0.2kg a week? . Or maybe it’s training 4 times a week, skipping breakfast because you have to get the train to London and saving your calories to have bigger meals later on in the day. . These might not be OPTIMAL in the perfect world but what the f**k is optimal. . If you can achieve your goals eventually, whether it takes 1 month, 1 year or 2 years then it’s still a HUGE ACHIEVEMENT that you’ve achieved your goals. . It’s all about finding what’s optimal for you and sustainable long term. . Don’t worry yourself what anyone else is doing and just focus on you!! . #lifehappens

Q&A with one of my current clients and an amazing artist @carolyn_credico. ⁣ 1) Where were you with your fitness before we started working together? Before we met, I was a bit overweight, frustrated with my workouts (I would end up injuring myself, or I wouldn’t see much results). I was struggling with binge eating/restricting foods, and it caused me to feel depressed. I was looking for some help to get me out of that rut, and found you! :⁣ 2) How did you find/learn about me?⁣ I found out about you on the Internet! I was searching for a female personal trainer in Hamilton. I found a couple of trainers, but thought you’d be a better fit for me. I liked how we had a meet and greet first, and I knew right away you’d be a great trainer. Most of all, I liked how you were so positive and fun! It made me feel at ease :) :⁣ 3) What was/is your experience with me as your trainer/coach? I honestly love going to our sessions. I usually feel very self conscious in front of others while working out, but not with you! You’re so kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. It gave me hope, and when I was feeling down about things, I felt so much better after our sessions. I also really appreciate you letting me train privately, as I struggle working out in front of others at a gym. I glutei sono da sempre bersaglio di ogni donna quando entra in palestra...ma troppe poche riescono a svolgere un reale lavoro a carico del distretto tanto desiderato...tanti sono i motivi..uno degli errori che ho riscontrato nella pratica, è l’assenza di consapevolezza del movimento, ed un corretto warm up...un semplice ponte glutei, con elastici posizionati in modo corretto(non a casaccio, come troppo spesso si vede), può “risvegliare” i vostri glutei, e prepararli a lavori successivi o futuri più complessi..compito nostro è quello d’insegnare il movimento e la percezione di quello che avviene, non di fare le cose più “fighe”, senza una reale base... Um 20:00 teilweise das letzte... ➳ Ich wünsche mir, dass mehr Menschen anfangen richtiges Krafttraining/ Training zu machen und vor allem den übertragbaren Effekt aufs Leben erkennen. 💫 ➳ Ich wünsche mir, dass diese Menschen selbstbewusster werden und sich alles im Leben zutrauen, egal was sie sich vornehmen! Es gibt kein Limit, auch wenn Du Dir immer noch eines setzt, es gibt nur Aufgaben die wir meistern dürfen! ✖️ ➳ Ich wünsche mir, als #trainer dieser Menschen/ Freunde/ Kunden, deren Limits neu zu definieren und ihnen aufzuzeigen was möglich ist, wie stark sie sind - und es noch werden können! #unlocktheirpotential ➳ Ich wünsche mir, dass diese Leute durch Training ihren Ausgleich finden. 🧘‍♂️ Ihre Fähigkeit verbessern, den Resetknopf im Kopf zu finden wenn der Tag schwierig ist und das Leben einem schwierige Aufgaben stellt. ➳ Es gibt für mich nichts schöneres, als von Kunden zu hören, dass sie dankbar sind, das Training super war, sie sich besser fühlen, keine Rückenschmerzen/ Nackenschmerzen mehr haben, wieder schlafen können, ihnen eine alte Jeans wieder passt, oder das Tshirt nicht mehr passt (Männer 😉), die Haltung besser wird und dadurch auch das Selbstbewusstsein!
