Existem muitas dúvidas e erros quando se fala de treinamento funcional, grande parte das pessoas já pensam na imagem de um elástico, uma bola suíça e um bosu, mas não é bem por aí, o TF é algo muito mais abrangente. Esse método se baseia nos 4 PILARES DO MOVIMENTO HUMANO, que organiza os movimentos básicos que todo mundo realiza no seu dia a dia, são eles: 1. Mudança de nível Elevar e abaixar o centro de massa (Agachamentos, afundos...) 2. Empurrar Afastar as mãos da linha central do corpo (Supino, flexão, desenvolvimento) 3. Anaerobic vs aerobic conditioning. The first set is how he normally does his workout- 15-30 minutes on continual running without rest (aerobic.) Second set is how to we taught him to properly sprint stairs. If you're goal is to optimize your physique, sprint stairs with 10-20x the amount of rest vs work I.e. he rested a minute and a half between sets vs continually running. Sprint workout: 1 flight of stairs x 5 sets resting 2 minutes. 2 flights of stairs x 4 sets, resting 90-seconds. 3 flights of stairs x 3 sets, resting 60-seconds. Entire Santa Monica stairs x 2 (rest until can do again.)

When setting up for the deadlift make sure to position the bar over your midfoot. This is the balance point and the best position to pull from. Another key point to remember is to have the shoulders slightly infront of the bar when ready to pull. Mixing in some more consistent power work to complement the strength work 🏋🏻‍♂️💪 . 1) Clean & Jerk = work up to a heavy triple. 2) BB OHP = 3 sets of 5 reps. 3) BB Pendlay Rows = 3 sets of 6 reps. 4) Incline DB Chest Press = 3 sets to reach 50 reps. 5) Lat Buster Rows = 3 sets to reach 50 reps. 6) Ab Wheel Roll Outs = 3 sets of 15 reps. . I use the 3 sets to 50 reps method with a few of my clients, it’s a fantastic way to build strength, size and endurance. . You pick a weight that you think you can reach 50 reps in only 3 sets with. Rest for a strict 60 seconds between sets. If you manage to hit 50 reps in 3 sets you will put the weight up next week. If you don’t manage to reach 50 reps in 3 sets then you stick with that weight until you can! . This method will catch up with you, so keep your form strict and leave your ego at home. . Begin dan bij het begin en zet een plan van aanpak op papier. Zo weet je precies wat je te doen staat!💡 - Heb je hulp nodig bij het opstellen van een plan van aanpak? Om jouw plan van aanpak kraakhelder op papier te krijgen helpt het om de volgende 5 punten, met behulp van het SMART-principe, tot in detail uit te werken.👇 - SPECIFIEK - Wees zo duidelijk mogelijk in het omschrijven van je doelstelling. Zorg ervoor dat je concreet antwoord kunt geven op de vragen: Wie? Wat? Waar? Wanneer? Waarom? Hoe?🤷‍♀️ - MEETBAAR - Zorg ervoor dat je tijdens het hele proces weet of je op schema loopt. Maak gebruik van betrouwbare meetinstrumenten en houd op een vast moment je voortgang bij.📉 - ACCEPTABEL - Vergeet de omgeving niet. Betrek ze bij het proces en vraag ze om je te steunen.
