One of the things I love most about #vegancooking is how you can take real food and be creative. It’s magic sometimes, what can happen. My fave #vegancheese sauce is made from #plantbased ingredients: carrots 🥕, potatoes 🥔, red lentils, cashews, oats, nooch, garlic, and (not pictured) miso, ACV, and a bit of salt. It is the BEST! Olá meus anjos ❤️ ando afastada daqui porque tenho tido dias muito exigentes e não me apetece muito publicar. A razão porque hoje o estou a fazer merece a vossa atenção. Vou passar a explicar. Hoje para o almoço fiz robalo. Sempre adorei peixe e sentia-me bem a comer-lo. No entanto, hoje não olhei para ele da mesma maneira. A meio da minha refeição dei por mim a olhar para aquele cadáver e sentir compaixão. Parece que já não passava pela garganta. Foi aí que percebi que está na hora de deixar de consumir peixe. Já não me sinto bem a fazer-lo e não exagerando, senti-me enjoada e com náuseas o dia todo. Tenho vindo a mudar a minha alimentação e forma de viver (ter mais atenção ao ambiente, reduzir o plástico, etc). Posto isto, não vou, para já, adoptar uma posição radical e se me apetecer comer peixe, irei fazer-lo, mas por enquanto, não me consigo esquecer daquilo que senti hoje. Muito boa noite 🌱❤️

There is such a debate on whether or not coffee is good for you or not. In my experience, everything needs to be in balance with your own personal chemistry. Which means, it’s going to change throughout your lifetime no matter what. Right now, I don't drink too much caffeine as I don’t want to give up my raw chocolate...lol. However, even though people laugh at the idea of having “decalf”, the truth is, there is still traces of caffeine – just not as much. So, when I feel like having a coffee boost, I make my own special, mocha late boost! 🍮 . 🍂🍃🍁🍃🍂 . I use a wonderful superfood called Coco Qi Late from @realjingherbs, which is a combination of Chinese herb formulas, mineral-rich superfoods, and cacao and mesquite. Checkout their site for more information on this wonderful, healthy indulgent tonic. I’ve been using it for years! In addition, I add some sugar-free drinking chocolate with probiotic from @lakantosweetener, which adds just enough natural sweetness to this late. Don’t forget my flavored MCT oil from @onnit. I use the French vanilla flavor, it’s super smooth. Oh, and finally, the other product that I use in my mocha late is Coffee Booster, from @coffeebooster, a high-fat coffee creamer made from coconut and grass-fed ghee, and cacao powder. It’s not vegan, but it’s super smooth and good. Obviously, you can exclude it from the coffee if you are a strict vegan – your choice. Total sugar count is less than 5g for this 16oz coffee. So, it’s super cool for me!😉 . 🍂🍃🍁🍃🍂 . Brew 1.5 tablespoons decalf @bulletproof coffee in our keurig coffee maker. Use 1 tablespoon of each product in a 15oz mug used with the keurig. Leave the coconut milk for last. Blend the brew with a frother till super smooth. I then brew an additional 4oz of coffee and mix the coconut milk with that. Pour all of the coffee made into a tall 16oz coffee mug, or travel mug, and blend again.🍮 . 🍁🍃🍂🍃🍁 . There you have it! I am a fan of nutritious simplicity. Baked cauliflower, steamed and fried sweet potato 🍠 with sautéed onion, and also sautéed garlic+green beans. Topped with green onions, sweet chili sauce, and a small pinch of pink salt. The sun came out yesterday and it raised my spirits enough to go on a 6 mile hike, fueled by this fully plant-based meal! I love when I throw a bunch of things and it actually tastes delicious 🙌 - Made some Italian butternut squash pasta last night and it’s proving to be even better leftovers 🤤 - Used the spiralizer to make some butternut squash pasta, (I should’ve boiled the noodles a little bit before sautéing but I didn’t), sauté some red onions, garlic, and the squash. Once the squash is tender, add some cherry tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Add spinach at the end and let it cook for about 2 more minutes (you don’t want the spinach too wilted). 🤘🏼 - Easy plant-based dinner! Could be super yummy to throw in some meatless crumbles, I just didn’t have any! 🌿

Trying to build muscle, lean out, prepare for a marathon, or w/e, nutrition plays a huge role. It’s easy to stay on track 👌🏽 • 🥦There are various “styles” of prep- pick what works for YOU & YOUR goals 🤗 some ideas⤵️ • 🍛Most common style is having ALL meals prepped M-F. This doesn’t work for all. Some foods don’t stay fresh in the fridge for 5 days... trust I’ve found the hard way 😝 & sometimes this leads ppl to weekend binges. ❗️Tip👉🏽Prep meals you LOVE so you don’t go off track! • 🥒Chop it up! 🔪 it can be helpful to just cut up a ton of veggies. They’re easy to grab for a snack when you’re feeling peckish, throw into soups & stews, or build a 🥗 salad. • 🍗Buffet style! Prep a couple diff kinds of meats, veggies, & carb sources in bulk. Throughout the week you can choose to assemble dif meal combinations based on what you feeL .😋 • 🥕Pack a snack! Some ppl adhere to their nutrition goals at meal time, but the need to snack may throw them off. Snacking ain’t bad when done mindfully! Don’t just snack oN carrot sticks- add a fat &/or protein source to stay satiated. If you just munch on veggies you’ll stay hungry! • 💡Those are just a few ideas to help you stay on track 💪🏽 Keep in mind that you don’t have to stick to just one way- what works for you one week may not be appealing another, so switch it up & keep yourself happy 😋 If you feel bound by strict “rules” you’re more likely to derail your progress! • ❓What do I do?? (❗️another tip is getting help from a service! I had to “swallow my pride” in prepping all my own meals & it’s totally worth it!) then ☝🏽 of my meals is something I meal prepped myself. Then the last meal of the day I throw together when I get home from work. like my last tip- I just pull from bulk batches I already have prep ped based on w/e I desire, throw it in my air-fryer & voila! Simple but nutritious #veganmeal - rice with eggplant & onion paste. Just fry some onions with cubed eggplant, then cover the pan and stir from time to time until it becomes soft and smooth, adding some garlick, salt, pepper and smoked pepper as it cooks. Usually I add plenty of green parsnip leaves, but I run out of parsley - so instead I added quite a lot of dill. Prosty lecz zdrowy #weganskiposilek - ryż z dodatkiem pasty z bakłażanów i cebuli. Trzy razy P - czyli proste, pyszne i pożywne! Pokrojone w kostkę bakłażany wrzucić na patelnię ze smażącą się cebulą, przykryć, mieszać od czasu do czasu, aż bakłażany nabiorą miękkości. W międzyczasie dodać czosnku, soli, pieprzu i wędzonej papryki. Zwykle dodaję dużo grubo siekanej naci pietruszki, ale ponieważ akurat się skończyła - a bez dodatku czegoś zielonego pasta wydawała mi się jakaś niedokończona, sypnęłam sporo siekanego kopru. Tried tofu scramble! Was actually surprised how fluffy and egg-like the texture is and the taste is definitely really good! I used my fingers to pull the tofu apart, then added turmeric powder, smoked paprika, chili flakes and some sea salt with a little kelp powder. Sautéd 1 small onion, then added the tofu with spices and fried just like the scrambled eggs, then added some pack choi and cherry tomatoes at the end. So good with some arugula and avocado on the side, if you never tried it, you definitely should! Тофу- болтунья! Была удивлена, как напоминает яичницу по текстуре и вкусу! Один блок тофу я разорвала пальцами на мелкие щепотки, затем добавила специи: куркуму, паприку, Чили и соль. Затем обжарила луковицу, добавила тофу со специями и пассировала пару минут как яйца. Soak the organic lentils then cook. Then cook the whole grain pasta while simmering tomato sauce with onion, garlic, and organic spinach. Mix all together. Add some salt, pepper, and turmeric. Delicious and packed with protein, vitamins, and minerals. I added it all up, there was about 190 grams of complete protein in all of it mixed together with tons of vitamins and minerals. Most people could easily live off this meal for two days and only spend about 8 bucks making it. Plant based and non GMO isn't so bad. Vegan creamy mac and cheese, so easy to make and so delicious 😋 Recipe: 4 cups whole wheat pasta, 4 cups unsweetened soy milk, 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, 1+1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, black pepper and salt as you like. Put everything in a pot, boil and cook with a closed lid on low heat 10 minutes or until it's ready. Friday was homemade pizza night. Started with fresh organic veggies, and a whole wheat pizza dough from Whole Foods. Let the dough rest for about 25 minutes, then rolled out dough and pre baked at 425 for about 5 minutes. Next we use our pizza sauce and got some organic non-gmo cheese. Haven't had cheese in a long time, lol. Next throw on the veggies and your pizza sauce, cheese and bake for another 23 minutes. About 5 minutes before being done, I put on some fresh basil from the garden and continued baking. Out of oven and let rest for about 5 minutes. Slice and enjoy. I know everyone is trying their best to keep their health goals going this new year. So no matter what happens, even if you have a bad day, get back up and keep on going forward.
