✨Golden Milk✨ My mom brought me some powdered Turmeric from a Mennonite village. I really love the flavor of this stuff, and I started out just drinking it with unsweetened almond milk as a healthy snack. I was drinking it for about a week and it completely opened my sinuses and took pressure of my teeth. It’s a problem I’ve been dealing with non-stop after a sinus infection I got 12 years ago when I was a senior in high school. I did antibiotics and allergy testing, a 28 day juice feast and a raw food diet, and it never resolved. Then bam I drank this for a week and feel way better! The only down side is it increases the affects of my medicine (Zoloft and Seroquel) and makes me lethargic/sleepy. I’m going to stick with it for another two weeks, and keep drinking it before bed time. I read that 4 weeks can help sinus infections. It’s a great anti-inflammatory and if you have any kind of pain\inflammation it wouldn’t hurt to try. Please, don’t take it if you take blood thinners or have thin blood. It’s a natural blood thinner and can increase the affects of some medicines.

Made extra Almond, Macadamia, Coconut milk today for these chia puddings. 4 are matcha and 3 are coconut 🤤 I make my milks pretty concentrated so I add 1 1/2 cups of water to 5 1/2 cups of plant milk. Then I add some stevia drops and maple syrup to taste along with vanilla extract. Until the base is to my liking ( sometimes I add some non dairy yogurt). I measured our 4 cups into a large bowl and added 3 tsp Matcha, and a scant of a cup of chia seeds. Mixed well and let sit for 10 min mixed again and poured into cups. For the coconut it was 3 cups of plant milk, a scant 3/4 cup of chia and dried coconut flakes. #chiapudding #veganfood #plantbased #plantmilk #homemade #makeithappen

🌱Soo let’s talk about oatmeal. - You can definitely be very creative with oatmeal. Recently I have been loving chocolate oatmeal, today I topped my chocolate oats with Kellogg simple granola, raspberry’s and @meridianfoods coconut and peanut butter (best nut butter I have tasted so far) -🌱 -🌱 - 🌱 Serves 2 1 cup of oats 2 cups of water 1/2 cup of @alpro soy milk (or any plant based milk) Tablespoon of milled flaxseed Tablespoon of cacao powder Sweetener of choice ( agave syrup, maple syrup etc) 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon @meridianfoods coconut and peanut butter ( or nut butter of choice) Raspberry’s @kelloggs.uk simple vegan granola -🌱 -🌱 -🌱 Add a cup of oats to two cups of water and 1/2 cup of plant based milk, cook on stove for about 8 mins, add cacao powder, milled flaxseed, cinnamon and then stir. Add sweetener of choice and then top with granola, nut butter and raspberry’s and enjoy yourself a lovely bowl of chocolate oats.
