Meal-prep is the main key that helps me to stay on track in eating healthy. Here are some of my tips so far; 🔸make a meal-plan to specify what exactly you want to prep. It does help the process go smoothly. 🔸do a meal-prep anytime you find the time to, just go for it. 🔸It’s not a bad idea to prep twice a week(e.g. Sunday & Wednesday), with the same meal for 2 or 3 days. It definitely eases the stress and time within the week. 🔸apply portion control when serving . . In the weekends, I skip meal prep because when I have time to wrap up easy and delicious meals. But I still get to plan my meals. . Ok back to my lunch box idea, it’s the first time eating bulgur. . Bulgur is a healthier version of white rice, it’s yummy, easy to cook, feels like rice, lower in calories than brown rice or quinoa, packed with fibre & proteins. If you have wheat allergy, then I guess bulgur is not for you. Try quinoa instead. . . 2019 is fast approaching, get your pen & papers, start taking notes on tips I will be giving here to help you start your journey from 1st of January😁. . . Day 8/21 • • • . . So the other day on my Instagram story I did a “what’s in Amy’s lunchbox special” and ahhh so sweet and so fun. It was cucumbers soaked in vinegar, carrot juice, and brown rice, chicken sausage, and veggie medley. This photo taken just a few minutes ago (actually posting an image “INSTAntly” — that’s the point, right?) and it consists of the ingredients of TACO SALAD. Yeah, you read it right. Taco salad fits in the meal plan. • • • The beauty in meal prepping takes the stress out of each morning, afternoon, and evening. When I wake up tomorrow, I know what I’m having for breakfast. When I’m getting ready to leave to work for the day, I know (and already have ready) my lunch and snacks for the day. When I get home from work, I’m in the ROUTINE to drink my energize and press play. And because my dinners are ready to go, there’s no room for error. • • • How much time in a day do you spend thinking about what to eat? Thinking about how it will make you feel?
