Creating from the heart 💜 . I had the privilege of creating a Yoga for Mental Health Series shortly after having Penelope for the @yogastudioapp 💜 . This project is so close to my heart simply bc yoga has been my number one tool in reliving the sometimes debilitating anxiety I’ve experienced throughout my life, and it’s supported my healing from addiction & held me in bouts of depression. . The series includes everything from a dynamic Vinyasa Flow that will get you out of your head and back into your heart to Yoga Nidra & a Seated Meditation. . While at the height of my Postpartum exhaustion and anxiety- Yoga Nidra was my true savior in restoring my mental health; the practice would take me from borderline panic attack to a state of relaxation- so I could finally catch a few winks here and there. . Day 1 of the reboot is complete❤️ I am feeling pretty good, I thought I would be dieing by now but I am still alive and good 🤣. - definitely learned a lot about myself today, I am a constant snacker and always putting everything in site in my mounts because today I had to really catch myself all day and make sure not to eat it. The part that is interesting is that I wasn't even hungry but I wanted to eat just out of habit. 😁 - Also discovered that I think about food all day from what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in between snacks. So today when I had no plan to eat, I had such a clear mind and didn't feel stressed and really focused on what I was doing at work. Now I know that food is my stress and that I need to be more in control of what I put in my body and not let it take over my mind and body.👍 - So that's what I have learned so far.. excited to see how tomorrow will be. Still nervous that I will get Hangry at some point but hasn't happened yet.

I find it kinda funny that my arms are darn near their best ever at 28 weeks preggers 🤣💪🏼. No bragging intended, but I’ve NEVER had this kind of definition or strength. And being CRAZY busy, I just don’t have time to put in a lot of extra effort to target them. . I’m about ☝🏼SIMPLE, ✌🏼EFFECTIVE, 👌🏼SUSTAINABLE. . 4 days a week, 30-40 min workouts for 8 weeks. Watched a touching video about postpartum body's the other day, got me thinking .. Our bodys change when we grow a human (massively), surely we can't expect this to occur without physical changes to our own rig afterwards? Here's me 20 months after having a baby (thats a fucking long time afterwards). Ive got stretch marks on my boobs and some extra skin and fat on my lower tummy and hips. From my previous pregnancy Ive got scars on my belly button and lower abdo from surgery I had to have for a complicated early pregnancy. Women often cover these bits up and are made to feel a bit ashamed of the extra bits, the loose skin, the scars. There is not enough honest conversation and information sharing about the postpartum rig .. why?? Because embracing it doesnt profit anyone I guess! Be proud of your postpartum bod, its evidence of the beautiful soul you birthed. Nothing to be ashamed about. Our bodies will continue to change as we age, pointless battle trying to resist it isnt it? Love the skin your in and move the focus to nourishing and moving your beautiful body in a way that repects where your body is at. Thank your incredible rig for all it does and what it provides you everyday .. Idk what I love more: my bun in this pic, @jednorthwomen crop top, or these comfy ass shorts.. 🤔 On another note.. currently tryna be basic and shred for summer because I’ve just been feeling down about my appearance. I know I always talk about gaining weight and how it’s great and not always had. BUT I essentially did the equivalent of a post show rebound (I was basically stage lean all winter long for god knows why) and put on weight too fast and began to feel mad sluggish as of recently.
