I think she’s looking more like me these days. You think?? . This little peanut didn’t miss a single workout in all of our 40 weeks together. Never missed a single day. 💪🏼Likely why she’s the most happiest, and calm baby out of the 3... . I was so scared to workout with the other 2, as I always was having miscarriages.... 3 lost babies in fact 😢😢 . But the pregnancy with Elliott was complication free... and I truly believe that’s because I was caring for myself, and was exercising daily and knew that proper healthy nutrition helped. I think the daily dose of super foods she got from her mamas morning shake, made her more advanced for her age and beyond extra cute too. 😆 . But hey... What do I know... I’m biased. But she’s a miracle, a blessing, and I’m so lucky to have our complete family. . Whatever the case may me. Ultimately, this is postpartum running... @ultra_sophie made headlines for it, @tinamuir88 was honest about it, and I get a lot of questions about it 🤱🏻 - Our daughter is still exclusively breast fed, so my running, and really my life, revolve around feeding her or pumping for her. I’m lucky to have a treadmill that I can hop off of when necessary to feed her, like this morning (swipe). On long run days, I feed her right before I leave and right when I get back. In the beginning it was really uncomfortable, but it has gotten significantly better as my supply has regulated. Sometimes it’s inconvenient, sometimes it’s annoying, and often times it’s sweaty and salty, but she loves it and it helps me bond with her, which has been difficult while also raising a toddler and working full time. - This is what’s working for us right now and as the postpartum journey evolves, I’ll keep you updated!! - #runthismomlife 🏃🏻‍♀️ #4monthspostpartum #20weekspostpartum #postpartumrunning #breastfeeding #normalizebreastfeeding

My baby is 8 weeks earthside now and a womans body and its capabilities will never cease to amaze me. It's so easy to pick your post partum body apart with things you dont like about it, we all do it. There seems to be so much pressure to bounce back and whilst some women do the majority of us dont immediately, it takes time and every woman is different. I've decided to be kinder to myself while my body recovers, sure there are times when I look in the mirror and dont love what I see but I'm on a mission to embrace this body that's created 3 beautiful and healthy babes. I have 3 daughters who I want to grow up appreciating their bodies through all stages of their life and developing that healthy relationship starts with me. So I have been doing the @thebodycoach workouts for 1 month. I have had a week and a half slacking.but thought I would post my progress so far. I've not been 100% all the time life gets busy with 3 kids, a dog and a cat. But Ive stuck to it where I can. I have lost 8 inches all over and 7lbs in the month which I think is a decent result especially being just 10weeks postpartum. So here I am now. It’s crazy to think that right now, I weigh as much as I did when I was full term pregnant 🤰🏼 #noshamehere After I had my son I had a long battle with postpartum depression & anxiety and lost all my baby weight and then some. 😳 I should have been happy with that, right? Because everybody wants to lose that baby weight, right? Well yes! I wanted to be back to my original size BUT the way it was happening was not healthy.💙 I wasn’t taking care of myself. I was barely eating & those baby blues were SO real.😥 I cried, a lot, and then I cried even more and I was just overall unhappy. What was supposed to be one of the best experiences of my life (motherhood) turned into one of the hardest. When I look back at my pregnancy photos, I don’t see a happy soon-to-be Mom, I see a women that has NO idea what crazy mess she is about to go through. Postpartum is no joke & it hit me HARD. Oftentimes, we as parents get so wrapped up in taking care of our kids that we forget to take care of ourselves. 🤱🏼 Take care of yourself, mama. Results 5 weeks postpartum I have always been thicker body frame. Weight does not melt off me. I have never just naturally been petite. I have never been a mother who just sits around breastfeeding with no change in diet or fitness and sees huge weight loss. I never been that lucky. Breastfeeding for me sometimes can slow my progress down since the body holds on to fat in some women to feed your body. Plus, when breastfeeding I cant cut calories very much. I am now weaning baby off breast to prepare to go back to work. So my results may seem little to some people since the internet shows so many women with rock abs at 6 weeks which is great. But that does not represent the other population of mothers like myself. I am so happy to already see this change in me. It is not easy.
