You want better results? Of course you do. We all do. I can tell you that if you aren’t doing post work out properly then you’re leaving a lot of gains on the table. So, what do you do? You probably just take a protein shake and that’s okay. You’re not wrong... but you can do better. So, find a hydrolyzed whey isolate protein. I use Phormula-1 from 1st Phorm. Hydrolyzed whey will be absorbed much quicker which is perfect for a post workout setting. Add a monosaccharide carbohydrate. I’ve always used ignition. This is huge and it’s the most common thing that people leave out. Adding in a carb is important because after training, your body has depleted its storage of glycogen which is a carb source and also what your body is using for fuel throughout that workout. Using ignition will replenish the glycogen levels end expedite the recovery process and also help you recover more efficiently. This is one thing that I started doing differently that has drastically improved my results over the last couple years. #postworkout #rootbeerfloat #transformation #weightloss

#humpday #pumpday, What's up FitFam 💪 👊? This is a Post-Workout Sweaty Arm Day and Legs, Home Gym Day! I am still currently back Downstate at Home, for at least another two weeks or so. - At any rate, I hit Arms and did the following: Overhead Ez-Curl Tricep Extensions, Behind the Back Tricep Extensions, Dumbell Tricep Extensions, Close Grip Dumbell Presses, Hex Presses, Ez-Curl Tricep Extensions and Ez-Curl Close Grip Presses. I hit Triceps for the majority of the session, since it has always been weaker than my Biceps. - I then moved on to Biceps but I also supersetted with Triceps, I did the following: BFR band Unilateral Ez-Curl Bicep Curls, Reverse Curls, Dumbell Zottoman Curls, Cross body Curls and Hammer Curls and in between every 3 sets of Biceps, I did Tricep Extensions, Close Grip Presses, and Kickbacks. I then did Drop set Concentration Curls Hammer Curls, back to Ez-Curl Bicep Curls, Wide, Narrow, Reverse, and One hand Pronated and the Second one Supinated Bicep Curls. I ended Arms with several more sets of Bicep Curls, Tricep Extensions, Kickbacks and Forearm work. - I finished the evening with Close Stance Squats, Sumo Stiff Deads, Sumo Squats, Back Lunges, Calf Raises and Forearm work. Hey! We finally made it to mid-week! If you are having an awesome week that is great! But if things are not going the way you want it to, remember that it is okay! People go through different phases in their life. Bad phases don't last forever and neither do good phases. But either way, you gotta put in the work. Work to make changes for the better even if its just a lil better. Most importantly, to me, is your mindset. A change in the mindset, causes you to see things differently and/or act differently. From that, you will see and feel the changes. . This week has been a productive week for me so far. I have finally gotten back to working on my blog! I'm glad I took Info Tech in Gr.8 as there are many webpage codes I need to make changes to. Still, the blog is nowhere near done. Things are not working here and there and I am not the most tech savvy person, so it is taking me a long time. I might give up on it again for the 10th time. Everytime being that I feel like I can't do it. However, if I can get eveything to work, it will be an accomplishment. . Stay positive and be always grateful! . I have also been staying on top of my workouts! That's a double-positive for me. 👊🏻

#glutenfree vegetable risotto with Parmesan for dinner tonight! Also having a banana protein mug cake since my dinner didn't have a lot of protein. For the mug cake take 1 scoop @pescience peanut butter protein powder, one mashed banana, a table spoon of powdered peanut butter, one tablespoon @milkadamia unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
