Consistency with workouts on travel weekends has to be a matter of fact and follow through. Fact: the best/only time to exercise in my day today was way earlier than I prefer. Follow-through: alarm went off, no thinking about how I felt about it, just got downstairs and knocked it out. I am thankful that days like today are the exception rather than the rule! Wowza those bottom moves take strength especially where they come in the sequence! (same move both sides) I am glad for the struggle and included them here because in a couple days I will look back and see my improvements I am sure! @mariakelling the bottom right I noticed the leg straight out to the side was a little lower than parallel. One of my options for when I am eating cleaner but want dessert are these graham cracker sammies. I take Pamela’s @pamelasproducts gluten free graham crackers and spread on homemade whipped cream (or @truwhip if you’re looking for a more natural version of cool whip at the store) and put them in the freezer for the filling to firm up. Nobody’s perfect, right?! 😊 I have been trying out the basic version of the @lifesum app for tracking my meals and nutrition - it is one of my favorite apps I have tried to date. The main reason I like it is because the daily log of food gives recommended calorie ranges for each meal depending on your goals. On my first day using the app, it encouraged me to eat a bigger breakfast. I ate in the recommended “range” for each meal/snack and all my struggles with feeling full long enough and wanting to overeat were noticeably better. It’s interesting to me to see how every day, this same workout program of 30 minutes @mariakelling beginner #tarealtime plus 15 minutes cardio part 1 of #tracyandersonmethod beginner cardio dance, can feel a little bit different. The magic of this method really is in the consistency of following through day after day. Here I am on day 5 of the week and there are moments of victory and moments of struggle that were exactly the opposite just a day ago. My current “program” of the 30 minute beginner #tarealtime class with @mariakelling followed by 15 minutes of cardio (cardio part 1 of beginner cardio dance by @tracyandersonmethod on the digital dashboard) is working for me. It’s challenging enough that I have room to grow, yet not so hard that I lose mental battles in my efforts at daily workout consistency. Most days I am excited and have fun during this exercise. I also can identify my progress and improvements in strength and stamina throughout the week. I’m a MEGA happy camper today @tracyandersonmethod because I realized the upgrade to Vimeo made it so I can move my workout space to a room with a door!!
