Tb to early 2017 when people would say “you don’t need to workout you’re already so thin” “I wish I was as skinny as you”... no there’s nothing *wrong* with how I looked back then but I WAS ‘underweight’ and had little to no physical strength. To lose weight is the goal of many girls who reach out to me and it is so frustrating that we have this perception that feeling/looking better and fitter = losing weight 🙄 if you are like how I was; no muscle definition, no strength, ‘skinny fat’, and you start weight training... that number on the scale is going to go up. Weight is a straaaange number, and in most cases should be ignored if it puts you off your progress. It used to freak me out so much, like how am I working out so much and it’s STILL going up?!? I don’t think I’ll ever be below 130 again, and I couldn’t be happier. Eat all the foods, lift all the weights, push yourself, be consistent, ✨enjoy it✨ and you’ll be gucci. - ‼️🎉🔜 I do get a lot of messages regarding personal training / macro help etc etc and I can finally say YESSSS I am going to be starting online coaching! People always ask why i hardly ever post my lower half, WELL....Its not normally my thing to post booty shots for 1, & 2, I have a lot to work to do on my lower, as ALL of the naughty things I love to eat go there-I hold my fat more on my lower , even tho Im MUCH stronger in the legs than upper body...definition just shows more on top,, because I'm leaner on top. Here are my 5 week results. Yesterday I completed week 1 of Chapter 3: Conquer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This week has been a MAJOR learning experience. I figured out that any carbs (bread, pasta, wraps, rice, popcorn, etc.) even whole wheat/grains cause me to be bloated and gain weight. I have semi gone low carb/keto again, because it works best for me. BUT I have chosen to keep fruit in my diet and have 1 meal a week with a carb in it, so I don’t feel deprived even though I am doing what’s best for my body. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am down 2.5 more inches this week for a total of 14 in 5 weeks, my goal was 10 in 6 weeks! I can see a difference in my pictures and I feel SO much better and full of life. Quick reminder guys that your body is your own. It is beautiful and unique and the perfect body for you. Whether you’re tall or short, have narrow or wide hips, cup size AA or DDD, love handles, broad shoulders, extra fluff, whatever! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You shouldn’t try to change your body to look like someone else’s. We all have things we’re insecure or self-conscious about. I used to be self-conscious about my broad shoulders, my presidency of the IBTC 😂, my ruler hips... I mean the list could go on. Heck, I’m still self-conscious about a ton of other things. The difference is, then, I was constantly comparing myself to other people. I wanted hips like this girl, boobs like that girl, thigh gaps and all that other stuff that’s continuously praised in the media. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But one day I just said you know... I’m just fine the way I am. What I’m not satisfied with, I will improve on and if that’s not possible, I will work to change my perspective. 🌱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The first step to loving your body, is to LOVE YOUR BODY. 💕 Just embrace it. Work on loving yourself first and growing from there. Everyday, look in the mirror and find a new positive thing to say about yourself. It’s amazing how you can speak a new mindset into existence. Open faced french dip with asparagus for around 400 calories. Honestly this is the first time since I started counting calirues that I really had a hard time detetmining a final calorie count. This was a real wild estimation. I was going to post the recipe, but I'm so unsure of the calories I'm not going to give an exact one. Basically its bottom round roast trimmed of all fat, seasoned with the spices in the pic and some better than bouillon. Sauteed onions and mushrooms to bulk it up and topped with reduced fat swiss. Oh yeah and half a hundred calorie bistro bun. I also put the au jus in the freezer and let the fat solidify and removed it. 🚨8 week check in 🚨 Here is where I am at. Weight is down from a peak of 90kgs to around 86.5 now. Ideally I want to be around 83/84 on comp day which is a kilogram heavier than last comp. I am doing a total of 100mins cardio per week equalling around 1000 calories. I am on 2600 cals per day and 3000 on high day with a variation in overall carb intake between 60% on high day to 15% on low day. Protein stays around 250g per day and fats vary based on carb numbers. It’s amazing what a difference a year can make! A year of 30 minute workouts at home with my puppy side kick. I don’t eat salads everyday...or every week. If you know me, I hate salads!!! If it was accomplished once it sure as fxck can be accomplished again! Back in 2013 I went to Google and typed "pretty buff girl" and I came across @danalinnbailey . I became so inspired that I would spend hours studying her YouTube videos. I lost 72lbs. I went from 232lbs to 160lbs. I developed a love for lifting. I'm back at my heaviest. I'm determined to take back what is mine, life. I have no excuses. @danalinnbailey posts her workout on #dlbdaily . By the way, you might not want to Google that anymore. Times have changed. You probably won't get the search I got in 2013. You probably will be directed to sexualized material, you know what I mean. - @angieisking
