Quinoa Peanut butter porridge, A quick breakfast swap for a low GI super delicious #nutty and satisfying start. with a fair dose of dietary fiber for a better digestive health and satiety, proteins for growth and maintenance and healthy fats for metabolism. -------keeping every meal as balanced as possible is a sure way of getting a wider selections of nutrients to repair the body and support health. -------Wondering why peanut butter and flax ? are they not fats? how is it possible to eat fat when i'm trying to get rid of it😲?? my exact?? ⏭⏭⏭Good, Do you know that just as fat can cause you to gain weight it can also help you to loose or maintain your weight ?? When you eat healthy fat, it fills you up and gives you a long feeling of fullness which curbs your appetite and tendency to overeat. So I include healthy high-fat foods like seeds, Avocado, nuts and nut butters in my diet and to say is magical is an understatement. Everything in moderation is key for me, depending on your definition of moderation though, You don't really need a lot of high-fat food to feel this satiating effect .for example this breakfast porridge i have used 🔽3tbsps of quinoa flakes ⏏2tbsps peanut butter powder=12gprotein ⏏2tbsps organic flaxseed milled ⏏1tbsps each of plain greek yoghurt &fage total yoghurt ⏏unsweetened almond milk. ⏏pomegranate seeds ⏺add quinoa flakes and almond milk on a pan, bring to boil over medium-low heat 2-3mins until thickened, turn off heat and add more milk and stir in you other ingredients in no particular order, serve with fruits and seeds of choice.
