One of my favorite go to granolas. Made with quinoa flakes instead of oats you often see. I love it to top smoothie bowls, as an afternoon snack straight from the jar or with plant based milk. This come from #itsallgood @gwynethpaltrow and @turshen - I’ve used this book so much all the pages are coming out. Definitely one of my favorites - 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 3 cups quinoa flakes, sea salt, 1-1/4 cups walnuts, 1-1/4 cups pumpkin seeds, 3/4 cup prunes or figs or both. I made this delicious and healthy recipe this week with a simple recipe from the holistic health and nutrition program I've recently joined called The Healthstyle Emporium. I love that they're all easy and free of nasty ingredients. Also, quinoa flakes alone can taste super bland so this is a nice way to make them tastier and get in that extra protein that's so good for cell repair and renewal. Here's the recipe: ⅔ cup of quinoa flakes ½ cup natural greek or coconut yogurt 1 apple coarsley grated ½ cup milk (soy/almond) 1 tbsp sunflower seed kernels 2 tsp chiaseeds ½ rsp ground cinnamon ½ cup fresh mixed berries Directions: Combine all of the ingredients except the berries into a bowl to soften. Once softened, top with the berries. celebrating #nationalquinoaday today with these cinnaroll PB quinoa pancakes 🥞 these LOOK super indulgent but they’re actually gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free + vegan and made from simple foods with a few added superfoods ⚡️ I show step by step how to make these on my IG story of you want to see it all for yourself but here’s the recipe: 1/2 cup @ancientharvest quinoa flakes (easier to digest + higher in protein than oats) 1 tbsp @arrowheadmills coconut flour 1 tbsp @madhavasweet coconut sugar 1/4 of a ripe banana 1 cup filtered water or non dairy milk 1/2 tsp vanilla extract pinch of Ceylon cinnamon + pink salt blend all ingredients in @vitamix then pour out your pancakes onto a heated skillet greased with coconut oil. cook for about 5 minutes on each side then begin to layer the toppings! toppings: organic crunchy PB @thecoconutcult coconut cream probiotic yogurt (this is super tart, thick and creamy so it mimics cream cheese frosting really well🤤) @simplyorganicfoods ceylon cinnamon + a then top off with a few extra banana slices + @wholefoods organic golden maple syrup

These no-bake chocolate quinoa squares are exactly what you need this weekend! 😎 As you've probably noticed, I love making anything sweet 🍫 BUT, I try to use natural and healthy ingredients. Hope you like these! . Recipe 🤗 . Melt 2 cups raw chocolate (meaning 100% cocoa) in a bain marie or microwave. You can also use 2 chocolate bars of choice. Pour in a bowl. Add 4 tablespoons of maple syrup (skip if you used a "regular" sweetened chocolate bar) and a pinch salt. Add 1/2 cup tahini and 1/2 cup almond butter. Stir well. Add 1 cup quinoa flakes or puffs, 1/2 cup nuts of choice (I used cashews). Stir. Place in a pan lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 10 minutes. Cut into squares. Hello everyone😀😀 do you like chewy cookies?? These are so chewy, delicious, soft, vegan and gluten free. They are also made from healthy ingredients mainly cashews. Cashews are rich in mono-insaturated fats, iron, copper, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus.they are also rich in proteins and vitamins such as vitamin E. Recipe 🍪1/2 cup cashew butter 🍪 2 flaxeggs ( 2 tbs groud flaxseeds mixed with 6 tbs water) 🍪 1/2 cup coconut sugar 🍪 Tsp vanilla 🍪 1/2 cup almond meal (ground almond) 🍪 1/4 cup quinoa flakes 🍪 1/4 cup chopped cashews ➡️ In a bowl, mix together cashew butter and flaxeggs, add coconut sugar and mix. Then add all the other ingredients and combine them well ➡️ Using an ice scooper, scoop 1 tbs for each cookie. Adjust the shape using your hands. If you feel they are bit sticky, wet your hand with clean water and adjust the shape. Bake at 180°C until gold color appears. (About 12 mins).

{Bread} Fresh, warm crispy bread. This is white, with poppy seeds & quinoa flakes for good measure. I have a panasonic machine, use a minimum 4hr cycle and have the recipe down to a fine art. 😏 {{1.5 teaspoons yeast 3 cups flour 340-360ml water (depending if you add seeds. Fodmap friendly being pepitas/sunflower seeds & quinoa flakes - about 2 tablespoons per ingredient) 6 'cracks' of rock salt}} I always used multigrain flour, but recently we discovered that both me & my two year old son are digestively challenged and grains were simply too harsh. IBS strikes many people of all ages in different ways but for us, grains, soy, dairy & fructose are the main triggers. I have found a sourdough at coles that does not use soy flour or additives 👍 but with the appetite this small human has its just getting to costly so i alternate. Due to having soy intolerance also we have to avoid your average off- the- shelf white bread as they are riddled with the additives. I much prefer to make things from scratch anyway. In a world full of 'products' I now make it my business to know what my family consumes, how much we consume, where its sourced & how fresh it is. Best to head back to basics and just make it myself. I have spent so much time disecting and decoding ingredients lists its just mind boggling what passes as 'edible' for human consumption. We let it cool on a rack then slice it straight down the middle, lay it on its face, then use an electric bread knife to slice.
