I’m pumped (punt intended) about finally showing my fitness ways. Not trying be corny but on some real shit: I want be honest, it took me a long time to even decide to start posting. A little bit of my story, The gym was something I started because it’s helped me in life and I always kept private because I wanted to keep doing it for myself. I was never big into social media. I see that soo many people get lost in the sauce of it all, just really aren’t living In the moment. So here’s what’s made me change my mind and start showing my sh*t. One of the best rewards in life is helping push people forward . Winning and having your own victories is what life is about when it comes to building self-confidence and strong self-esteem,But rarely will it make you feel completely fulfilled . The amazing part about helping somebody push forward is that it really doesn’t take that much effort, it usually takes more effort to act like an asshole then it does to be a good person . Before I started putting people first and showing people how much I cared, in full transparency, I almost looked at it as a weakness and that I needed to only look out for myself to be strong . I was WRONG . My thought process years ago couldn’t have been further from the truth. Putting others feelings, emotions and personal growth at the forefront of what you do actually shows amazing character in a person, and once I learned that not only was I happier person but a more successful person in everything I did . Today’s @redjanuaryuk activity - RAW HIIT Class, followed by one of these bad boys - @grenadeofficial carb killa birthday cake 🎂 protein bar. I’ve still got a sore throat and haven’t really ate much today, but saw this in Tesco and really fancied it for a quick post workout protein hit. Protein bars are a bit hit and miss imo, but this was delish. Worth every point. I had to drag myself to the gym this morning - I’ve still got a sore throat and am feeling a bit rubbish, but I did it and smashed out a not too shabby cardio workout: - 15 mins X-trainer level 5/10 alternating - 15 mins jog - 15 mins fast walk on a 6% gradient A decent calorie burn and the all-important MEPs earned. I treated myself to a skinny latte (4) with ww bar (2) and 🍌 in the hairdressers and came home to a ham and soft cheese wholemeal wrap (4) with 🥒🍎 and 🍇. Уделите 5-10 мин своего драгоценного времени для этого, я долгое время принебрегала разминкой, что негативно отразилось на моей пояснице. THROWBACK THURSDAY!! So 10 yrs ago I had a 4 month old baby. I have no pics of me on my own at this time, I clearly ceased to exist as a person in my own right for a short time 😂😂. All pics I have of me are with him as well and I also obviously binned the make up for a while too! So today has been a bit of an eating leftovers kind of a day. Started off this morning with a run, then: berries, yog and choc shot for a 1SP brekkie; veggie soup and snackajacks for a 4SP lunch; crumpet with hf soft cheese and a slice of ham 4SP afternoon snack when Sammy came home; and leftover chicken and ham pie with broccoli and sweet corn for 8SP tea. Still got points left for a pudding or snack later. I’ve prepared overnight oats and chicken Kiev with salad to take to work tomorrow for my first day back 😳😳. I’ve also mapped out a short lunchtime walk to give me a break from the lab, and a workout for tomorrow night. Fit test #2!! In the last 2 weeks, I've lost ~9lbs and gotten way stronger! I've got a lot more confidence and feel so much better. I went from drinking daily to not drinking at all (with the exception of last Sunday for the JT concert), and my diet is neat and tidy. So I’m conscious of the fact that I will have less time when I’m back to work, and will be shattered to start off with, so I’m getting as much activity in as I can before I go back. Me and the lovely @debbiehall366 have started up our Monday night walks again, so in addition to my workout this morning, and back and forth to school a couple of times, I’ve clocked up a massive 49 fitpoints today 😳😳 Decided to have some weeklies for tea, as it I wanted something quick, the boys had eaten, and it was late when I got back so had grilled light halloumi in a couple of ww wraps with skinny sweet chilli sauce. Didn’t look good to photograph but tasted fab. Ended the day on 30/23 with weeklies and a ridiculous amount of fitpoints remaining.
