🗣 Don't throw away your carrot tops! 🥕 Instead, reduce food waste AND get a huge nutrient boost by making carrot top pesto 🙌 Here's a recipe from @dontwastethecrumbs: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Supplies 🥕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3 Tbsp nuts, roughly chopped (I used pecans)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 garlic clove⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2 cups carrot tops (from 4-5 carrots, roughly chopped)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1/2 cup packed fresh herbs (I used basil)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1/2 – 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Method 🥕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Measure nuts and garlic into a food processor. Pulse until a rough paste forms. Add carrot tops and basil, and pulse until everything is in teeny tiny pieces and creates an even thicker, rougher paste. Add 1/2 cup olive oil and pulse/blend until the mixture is mostly smooth. If the pesto is too thick, add additional olive oil if desired, 1 Tbsp at a time. Parece que vai ter e sol e calor na sexta-feira Santa! E como manda a tradição, é dia de comer peixe! Nosso ceviche é uma pedida maravilhosa para variar o cardápio. Quer aprender a fazer? Então vamos lá. Você vai precisar de: -300 gramas de file de peixe branco o mais fresco possível (pode usar tilapia, se for mais fácil); -1/2 cebola roxa cortada em fatias finíssimas; - 1/2 pimenta dedo-de-moça sem semente bem picadinha; - suco de 1 limão tahiti; - suco de 1 limão siciliano; - cubinhos de manga (opcional); - coentro picadinho - sal e pimenta à gosto Corte o peixe em quadradinhos uniformes e reserve. Depois de ter cortado a cebola em fatias, coloque num recipiente com água e gelo por uns 5 minutos. Coe a água após esse processo. Num bowl junte o peixe, tempere com sal e pimenta, adicione todos os ingredientes menos o coentro e vá provando. Vai começar a formar um líquido. Isso que da o gosto do ceviche. Por último junte o coentro e sirva tudo bem geladinho Você pode servir em porções maiores ou colocar em copinhos para uma festinha. Тут тобі і незамінні амінокислоти і кальцій, і залізо, вітаміни групи В... Тримайте, удосконалений рецепт гречаних котлет з буряком 🤤. . Під час приготування наших котлеток ніхто не постраждав 🐖🐇🦃🐓🐄, бо до складу ми додаємо лише корисні рослинні складові 🌱🤓. Як проростити гречку, шукайте за хештегом #рости_гречко . . ✔️2 чашки пророщеної гречки (біля 400 г); ✔️1 велика 🥕; ✔️2 середніх червоних буряка; ✔️0,5 цибулини; ✔️2 зубці часнику; ✔️1 солодке 🍎; ✔️кілька ст. л. соку 🍋; ✔️кілька ст. л. оливкової олії; ✔️сіль, спеції, трави (у мене мелений коріандр, зіра, або кумин, орегано); ✔️зелень 🌿за бажанням ; ✔️льон (мелене насіння для формування котлет). . Яблуко без шкірки, моркву, буряк, цибулю, часник і сік лимону змолоти в блендер-чаші до однорідної маси, далі висипати гречку і знову довести до однорідності. Якщо у вас потужний блендер, який меле все в пил 🔥🐉, збивайте на режимі "пульс". Нам потрібна не гладка консистенція, а круп'яниста. Зелень нарізаємо, додаємо спеції, сіль і задопомогою меленого насіння льону та вологих рук формуємо котлетки. 🍟🥗🌯 EATING OUT 🍕🍔🌮⁣ ⁣ (This post isn’t gonna be one of those how-to-“healthify”-aka-REMOVE-EVERYTHING-THATS-GOOD-when-eating-out thingys, so soz if that’s what made you stop scrolling 😬)⁣ ⁣ I just wanted to talk real quick to y’all about 🌈 I N S P I R A T I O N 🌈⁣ ⁣ Whenever I’ve made any changes to the way I eat(going vegan, trying to incorporate more raw veggies, etc) I’ve often found myself circling my favorite meals that I KNOW I like, eventually growing tired of them - kinda like listening to your favorite song on repeat, only to find yourself waking up one day and not being able to STAND IT anymore 🙅🏼‍♀️You know?⁣ ⁣ Anywayz -⁣ These are some ways I’ve found really works to get the inspirational juices flowing and getting me excited to try new things:⁣ ⁣ 💫 VISIT A NEW RESTAURANT/CAFÉ!⁣ I’m lucky enough to live in a city with a lot of different cuisines and wide variety of restaurants to choose from. This is my favorite way to find inspiration and try new things - having someone who KNOWS what they’re doing cook them! This is what completely changed my opinion on both tofu and tempeh, two staples in a lot of my meals today.⁣ ⁣ 💫 PINTEREST IT!⁣ Ahhh Pinterest, sweet sweet Pinterest... I love saving fun plant based recipes, as well as trying to veganize other meals I stumble upon. I rarely follow any recipe to a T but like to adjust and experiment with them.⁣ ⁣ 💫 TRY A NEW INGREDIENT!⁣ Sometimes I get a complete wildcard(could be a frozen vegan protein, a new spice blend, a funky looking dressing, or a new vegetable) and try to create a meal around it. It’s fun and keeps things interesting! ⁣ ⁣ Right now, I’m trying to get in some more raw veggies and find some inspiration for summery smoothie bowl toppings, so you’ll find me at @mahalosthlm and @drmat.se 👩🏼‍🍳 ⁣ Oh - and I’ll try to put together a list of my fave foodie places in Stockholm(and Eindhoven maybe?) soon! 🥗✨

Basically just eating fruit and veggies today. Yesterday I had a glass of wine and carrot cake... I still feel like shiitttttt (well not super horribleeee but in comparison to the glitter and gold- dominate the world vibes I usually feel, it’s pretty shitty.) I’m all for balance and allowing yourself to indulge every once in a while. I’ve had the view with wholesome eating that it’s what I do MOST of the time. So a little vegan pizza, cupcake, or wine every once in a while won’t kill me. But actually, it friggen does. I eat so clean 95 percent of the time that when I don’t , my body’s reaction is AWFUL. The “day after” I feel depressed, exhausted, moody, unmotivated... you name it. It’s just not worth it anymore for that couple minutes of pleasure. Sugar realllyyy throws my whole system outta whack. ANYWHORE, I share so y’all know I struggle with cravings too. I’ve become much more more lax with myself the past couple months and really just need to reel it tf in. Long term health wise, no, I don’t think having “cheat” meals will really affect me. But why should I EVER sabotage myself and body? Feeling crappy is not a “treat.” It sucks. HOOKED ON VEGAN CHEEZE 😂 CASHEW CHEESE to be precise😋👌 ♡. What can I say, all I think of is cheeze on this sunny day😊 Have you made/tried other nut versions?🤔 Would love to know. My easy peasy recipe is below👇 ♡. Have the VERY best Thursday EVER lovelies and remember to smile a lot, it's the best medicine and for free😆😘😘💚💛💚 ~~~~~ ♡ ♡ ♡ Ingredients: PROBIOTIC CASHEW CHEEZE 2 c/240g raw cashews 2 garlic cloves, chopped 2 tbsp/30ml lemon juice 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 1/2 tsp pink himalaya salt 1/4 c/60ml water (optional) 2 probiotic capsules 1 bundle fresh chives, chopped (optional) Method: 1. Place cashews in a glass/steel/ceramic bowl and cover with filtered water. Soak overnight (min. 6 hours). 2. Drain cashews well, add garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast and pink himalaya salt and mix on high in high-speed blender until smooth. 4. Transfer mix to a bowl (not steel since this could jeopardise the probiotic fermentation!) and add content of opened probiotic capsules. Stir to combine with spatula. 5. Place a (double-layered) cheesecloth over a mixing bowl. Scoop mixture with spatula into cheesecloth. Fold up ends of cloth and gently twist the top to form the cheese into a ball. Secure with rubber band. 6. Remove liquid squirts (so delish, keep!) and place in small jar to ferment. Makes a delicious cheeze spread as is. OR 7. Place weight onto cheeze ball. Leave to set at room temperature for at least 24 hours, up to 72. Keep twisting the tightened cheesecloth, removing liquid and cheese hold its form. 8. Remove ball carefully from cheesecloth, reshape if needed. 9. If desired, roll cheese in minced chives. My favorite “raw” summer meal! Sweet Chili Sweet Potato Noodles Ingredients -1 sweet potato (I used a purple sweet potato) -2 cups brussel sprouts -1 pomegranate -1/2 cup pine nuts Dressing -1 tbsp maple syrup -1 tbsp sesame oil -2 tbsp apple cider vinegar -1 tbsp soy sauce -1 tbsp garlic chili paste -1 tsp sesame seeds Directions 1. Spiralize sweet potato into noodles 2. Cut brussel sprouts 3. Whisk together dressing ingredients 4. Cook sweet potato in medium high pan and add to bowl 5. Cook brussel sprouts in medium high cast iron until they start to brown 6. Add pine nuts to brussel sprouts cooking until brown 7. Add to bowl and cover with dressing 8. Add pomegranates on top 9. Inherent (GENETIC) Weaknesses Inherent weaknesses are cellular codes (cellular memories) that set the condition of tissue and how it responds to life. Toxicity Toxicity (which means poison) is a term that includes many things, from mucus accumulation from dairy foods, irritants and complex sugars, to chemical, toxic metal and mineral deposits. Today, most of the foods people eat and the liquids they drink are acidic, mucus-forming, energy-robbing and protein-toxic. Looking back today as I start a 28 day healing cleanse with @medicalmedium. This picture reminds me of the healing power our food gives us and motivates me to keep going. A book was brought into my life my last day in the hospital when I had no answers and felt completely lost. These seed butter cups are easy to make, and vegan and keto friendly. The important thing to remember is have enough melted chocolate to cover the seed butter-filled cups!😉 . 🍃🌿🍃🌿🍃 . First make the seed butter filling, by combining some sugar free, salt free, raw sunflower butter. About ½ a jar. Add about ¼ cup of monk fruit powder, and some sea salt. Mix well. Set aside while you prepare the chocolate. For the chocolate, melt about 1 ½ to 2 bags of @lilys_sweets_chocolate Stevia Sweetened Dark Chocolate Chips in a double-boiler. Stir constantly, on a simmer – do not let it boil! . 🌿🍃🌿🍃🌿 . Using a butter-cup candy mold, or a mini-cup-cake mold, scoop a tablespoon of melted chocolate into each cup. I use the back of the spoon to try and smear it around the edges of the cup too, forming a true chocolate cup. Scoop a teaspoon or more of the seed butter filling into each chocolate cup. Place another tablespoon of melted chocolate over each filled cup to seal each one. Place mold in cup mold in freezer to harden for about 30 minutes or so. Ready to serve and eat! This is a super yummy treat, and can be stored in the freezer or fridge, or on the counter in an enclosed, air-tight container. Took this guy on the roadtrip from Berlin to Nazaré (Portugal) - based on classic combination of fig, raisin and lemon. Just gave him some extra sugar to become a bit sweeter again as he'd been chilling in this closed jar for almost a week now. So it got a bit too alcoholic in the second fermentation.
