And they stay chasing after them 🙃 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:24 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. Luke 6:26 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord . The last 10 years of my life have been a roller coaster journey, some of the highlights include completing a masters degree with barely any money to my name, getting married, two miscarriages, a nightmare pregnancy, the birth of the most beautiful baby girl, an exotic life in South East Asia with my family for a few years, the birth of my amazing son, bereavement, amazing friends, family challenges and the list goes on. Why am I sharing all this? Well, because I truly believe there is power in our story; the ability to frequently reflect and thank God for your journey is such a blessing. . . . . As long as you never forget where God has brought you from, on the journey to where you are going, then you can always shut down the voices in your head telling you that you won’t overcome your present situation. . Continue reading on the blog. . . . . “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Away. Jesus said away with me you who are a worker of iniquity I never knew you; this is after He told us that there would many that would say “didn’t we prophesy in your name, heal the sick in your name”... But Jesus said basically go “Away” from me... Why? The definition of the word Knew in the Greek is “to be deeply and acquainted with”. So, even though there are people in the World that boast of the works of God, although they may do mighty things all in Jesus’ name.. He said Away from me, because I never knew you... Think about this for a moment... even though they were healing the sick, casting out devils... the Bible says Jesus said away with you.. Friends, any one can use the name of Jesus and see great things happen in our life.. but we want to be one of those where the Bible says “those who know their God do great exploits” We want to be like John who laid is head on Jesus’ blossom. We want to have a relationship and a beautiful prayer life with Him! So we can be one of the ones, that Jesus prayed about in John 17- about being one with Him and one with God! - Just an encouraging thought for us today, to really “know” Him whom our soul loves! Amen! - Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Matthew 7:23 NIV - #onemoretime #realistic #relationships #fathergod #blessedandannointed #desireelamphier #takecare #away #pray #readyourbible

There are some things in our lives that desperately need to hear the words "no longer." Jesus has already resurrected from the dead. Sin lost its sting THEN. You have victory over [insert] NOW. ~ “[Insert], you NO LONGER have power over me!” ~ "But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code." Romans 7:6

Sally questioned her worth in Christ and feared being a negative statistic for Christianity because of a choice in her past. But Sally eventually came to realize that her thoughts were wrong. She realized that the lies were from the enemy and how he merely wanted to pull her away from the promises of God. He didn't want her to renew her mind or remember the robe of righteousness that was hanging in her closet from her Father. Because if she didn’t, then the enemy could hold her captive to more lies and nip at her until she actually did become a negative statistic (exactly what she feared.) What did Sally do? She fought back with truth. She started studying the Word. She sought first the Kingdom of God by renewing her mind of the promises of God and meditating on them daily. Sally found her hope again. But she had to fight. And she did. She kept going. Every time the enemy would try to slay her with another lie, she combatted it with truth in Scripture. What I want to tell you today is this: If what you hear in your head makes you feel worse about yourself, if it doesn't remind you of hope or the love God has for you.. it's Satan. Whisper back in Satan's ear, "False, and did you miss that I'm wearing my robe of righteousness?"

Jesus’ kindness always came before someone's repentance. In the Word you'll find one instance after another of how it was always His love and gentleness that led people to their knees, humbling themselves, confessing their wrong behavior and making the decision to follow Him. Kindness doesn't mean being accepting of a persons behavior or choices. It simply means loving them how God loves them. ~ There is something about kindness, or mercy, I should say, that intrigues the human mind and causes curiousness and a craving for more. Maybe because love is our essential need. Yet there are Christians who when they see someone behaving in a way that would be displeasing to the Lord, they first verbally attack the person for their behavior or lifestyle attempting to scare them out of it. And I have seen church's ask individuals to leave the church because of their sin. I have seen a lot. That is merely the best way to drive them deeper into it. ~ "Overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21 People don't repent from feeling judged or even hated. Jesus’ kindness is what drew people to their knees. (Romans 2:4) Kindness and a sense of welcomeness should radiate from us. That is Christ-like. That is what will draw people in and wanna hear about what it is that you have that they don't. There’s a reason He said the greatest commandment is love. Because love IS the antidote.

I use this verse when ministering to people probably more than any other verse in the bible. Fear is a huge weapon of the enemy, and as a blood bought believer we have authority in the name of Jesus to not only dismantle fears network in peoples lives (worry, anxiety, depression, etc) but replace it with the security, power, and love of heaven. Need I say more? I heard this on Relevant Radio just now and had to share!

A young man came up to a prophet and said, “Can you please give me a word.” He responded, “Sure” and handed him a Bible. Remember, one of primary ways God speaks is through the Bible. #readyourbible #godcanspeak

Yesterday was Day 1 of VBS. The boys got their schoolwork done and I prepped for the lesson. My prayer is that God will work mightily in the hearts of the children in our care for the week and that He will speak old truths in a new way to all the adult volunteers. It is such a blessing to be surrounded by the energy and excitement of children. • What summer activities are you and your kids participating in this year? Are you as hesitant about daycamps or sleepaway camp as I am? We’re hoping to add swim lessons to our July schedule. • #vbs #gameon #thegoodshepherd #letthelittlechildrencome #biblestudy #dailydevotion #readyourbible #quiettime #summerschool #praisethelord #childrensministry #summertime #summer #momlife #instamama #momblogger

DAY 19 of 365BIBLE @ inJesusName.net*********** Sixth Plague- Boils- God tells Moses and Aaron to take soot from the kiln and toss it in the air so that when it touches man or beast (guess this would be dogs, cats, and gerbils since all the livestock is dead) boils break out on them. Now, "the kiln" is probably the furnace where they did child sacrifice....so you can see how God may be making a significant point with this one. You hurt kids, I hurt you. The magicians could not even attempt to duplicate this plague because they had boils on them...and God hardens Pharaohs heart so he still didn't let the people go. ******************** READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email! #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblequotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #biblejournalingcommunity #biblescripture #bibleblogger #biblebloggers
