Got my hands on this innovative new tool, the @uballnet. It allows for some deeper soft tissue massage and after day 1 I’m already a fan. As you guys can see, a barbell can have too much surface area while the uball allows for more pinpoint pressure in certain trigger points. based on the likes and dislikes of the mind, we often make a mess of things. we create and contribute our ‘problems’ -when working with senses and the desire that comes from them the gita tells us to work with the senses by unhooking from them. not easy 😳 so in the meantime a great way to start to unhook is to at least give the senses something higher to hook into. instead of the lowest instant gratification that just takes and is never satisfied- try directing the mind little by little to higher experiences. the lower cravings are empty. choose higher more sacred fixations and at least then there is some lasting positive effect on the mind. you will strengthen your skills of observation with just a little bit of discipline and then see how the senses work. from the observation you will begin to know who are and you will become empowered with choice. when the mind desires it will talk to you- there will be a loop that left unattended becomes a deep groove (addiction)- much harder to work with. so instead, change the mind dialogue. you can try using sacred mantra. repeat a mantra of your choice over and over instead of the ‘desire talk’ and eventually the wisdom of the mantra will fill the deep groove of the desire and neutralize the wanting. this is just one example of ‘higher’ vs ‘lower’ practice to work with senses. eventually understanding will come. understanding is joy. leave questions or comments below 🙏😘💖 . . . . #yogatime #offthemat #liveyouryoga #freedom #recoverywork #staysober #getsober #cleanandsober #recoveryispossible #yogawisdom #igyoga #yogisofinstagram #soberyogis #wearealladdicts #yogahelps #tapas #inversion #sirsasana #headstand #yoga #youbeyou #vinyasa #lovestoryyoga
