“Look up Marlon say 🧀! “ Here I am with Miss Kathleen McElroy. She is the director of the School of Journalism and a professor at The University of Texas at Austin. Not only am I smiling because she is incredibly sweet and inspirational, but she is also the daughter of a man who changed the course of the history of POC being represented in Journalism. #ut #uta #journalism #representationmatters #credcon

PART 4) Excerpt clip from IF YOU COULD HEAR MY OWN TUNE with Sylvie Weir, Patricia Ordonez, Maleni Chaitoo and Lauren Ridloff shot entirely on mini DV in 2003. It took me ten years to complete it. This scene is about 'Girls' Night Out.' Can you visualize this becoming a sitcom? Written, Produced, Directed and edited by Jade Bryan Director of Photography by Damon L. Tidwell We used voice actors for each actor. Will I do that again? No, not unless it’s their own voice, and, because it’s not natural. 😂 If you wish to watch the full movie, order the DVD from our website: www.jadefilm.com #pocdeaftalent #blackdeaftalent #deaftalent #lgbtqadeaftalent #blackdeaffilmmakers #representationmatters #tellingourstories When the film was finally released in 2010, NBDA and the black deaf community weren’t ready for this progressive and controversial film due to some sensitive topics and sexual themes. Yep, NBDA didn’t want the film as part of their entertainment during one of their conferences. As a filmmaker, I like to introduce such real issues such as the term, ‘downlow’, a slang in the black community for black men’s secret homosexual activity.

Ooooh ‘twas a juicy episode 😏 poor Michael that Sam dude was a fucking twat. I felt bad for Irene I hope it works out between her and that girl they seemed sweet together. Now onto the juicyyyy stuff ok so in my opinion Daisy got stupidly annoyed at Leonie a few episodes ago when her date hit on her like it’s not like she hit on him and then tbf to Daisy that dude at the party the other day was so rude!!! When he was like it’s time for you to go I was like omg that’s rude and Leonie should have ditched him at that point bc he’s clearly a dick but with the situation with that girl I think Daisy was very hypocritical to get with her when she was so annoyed at Leonie for doing much less. Buttt leonie did say she was ok with it and then got all annoyed but I think overall I’m team Leonie bc Daisy was acting so bitchy like she was being so mean about Leonie when she hadn’t even done anything and then tbh I feel like she got with that girl to get back at Leonie hmmm shady

This is Lieutenant Liberty. #moc. I assembled her from an off market Agent Carter / Captain America fig. I wanted to come up with someone new. I got the basic aesthetic from @boygodking. She just has these kind, smart and badass qualities to her that just shout that this person looks like a hero. #lgbt #representationmatters #queer #femmeboy I found the freckled face, iPhone from and jet pack from @firestartoys. I figured a jet pack would add more fun to the character. Who doesn’t like their heroes to fly? #minifigure #minifigures #moc #lego #gaygeek #captainamerica #customminifigures #freckles #ginger
