I used to joke and tell my mom that she didn’t love me because she never told me to do something about my weight gain. 💀😅. Now, I can honestly say that it wasn’t her job to tell me that; it was mine! Guys. This is HARD for me to post. Not necessarily because of what I looked like, but more so because I allowed myself to get there. Like... the AUDACITY Emely. 😳🤦🏻‍♀️. I think I can finally post these now though, because I am legit PROUD of myself. Again, not because of what I look like, but because I WORKED for this and I’m actually pretty strong too. That’s probably what I’m most proud of! 😁💪🏽. As you can see, I started seriously focusing on my health in 2015. This DID NOT happen overnight and it did not happen with quick fixes. No magic pills/teas. No waist trainers. No strict fad diets. 🙃💯. This is educating yourself. This is seeking help from people who know more than you. This is realistically watching what you eat. This is being more active and spending time in the gym. This is cutting back on alcohol and being out late. This is making a REAL lifestyle change. If I can do it, so can YOU. If you want it BAD ENOUGH, you will. 🙌🏽😄. Use my journey to motivate your own guys. It’s a whole mind-body type of transformation. Before getting pregnant, I had weight to lose. One year postpartum I decided to commit to ME - no matter how many workouts I missed the week before, no matter how bad I ate over the weekend, no matter how discouraged I felt at times - I swore I would recommit every single week. That was 13 1/2 months ago and it might be a slow process (for me anyway), but we’re finally getting into the pre-baby body weight loss and it’s an incredible feeling 😜😍✌🏻😎🙌🏻 🤸🏼‍♀️I go through phases where I’m proud of myself and phases where I’m super frustrated with myself. The outward appearance used to mean everything to me, but I never could have fathomed how good it FEELS! Feeling good in your mind, body, clothes - THAT matters more than you know! Numbers on the scale and how you look based on “society’s” standards mean nothing! AIM is finally able to attempt to say her own name !!! This is a huge milestone for us. She has gone through 2 surgeries in her mouth by the time she was 2.5 y/o. Hours and hours of speech therapy. A diagnoses of a sever speech delay, and then Speech Apraxia around her 3rd birthday. As well as her Speech Therapy Support dog, Poppy, whom has done so much for her. Just before her 3rd birthday, she was at about 18 spoken words. Her main for of communication was via sign language(thanks @signing_time for teaching our whole family.) She is 3.5 ish now and while we still sign daily (because I don't want her to loose it.) She is doing amazing with her speech. I share this so those whom as in the struggle of a child with any delays or anything really. To set small goals, that are specifically set for your situation. Don't worry about what others think. As well as don't compare your kids to others. (No matter the reason.) Keep your head up and keep doing the best you can. Things will fall into place in time.

@medicalmedium #medicamedium My first memory I have of apples is when I was around age four. We were living in an apartment that had a garden, a raised cement wall, the woods beyond the wall and a hill with an apple tree that I rode my beloved smurf tricycle down probably a thousand times. I often sat under that apple tree on the Autumn hill, (what I call that place/memory,) gazing at fallen fruits and twigs, seeds and what was left from creatures partaking. I’d gaze at the sky from that spot, I’d play with my carebears and slinkies, I’d read, I’d watch ants do their work and usually watch in amazement carefully with a magnifying glass, at how determined they are and strong. Buzzing bees and wasps, moths and butterflies, and elementals too. ⬇️continued below in comments⬇️

📣THIS IS WHAT FEAR LOOKS LIKE!😰 I've been dying to do this on a wheel but dont have one. I do it with a medicine ball all the time so figures what's the difference. 👣Leg raises👣 • •This exercise engages your core the entire time. You're using your core to bring your legs up (feet as close to the bar as possible) and to control yourself on the way back down. If you're using momentum to swing your legs up, you're doing it wrong! This is a great exercise for core stabilization. • •If you're unable to do leg raises with proper form, swipe for a modified version! Similar to leg raises you're bringing your knees up to your chest and controlling your legs as you lower them back down. Proof of a Lean Mean Queen Machine • #repost @keenesam • • • • • My progress after a year of personal training with @jesse_humble and 6 months of using MyFitnessPal. After tearing a disc in my back last year and injuring my shoulder this year, I really didn't think I'd be able to maintain my fitness, much less improve it, so I'm really proud of these results. I don't think it's a coincidence that the greatest change happened when I started tracking my calories and macros, a habit I had resisted for a long time. Once I actually looked at the numbers, though, I realized I wasn't getting nearly enough protein, and a lot of my efforts at the gym were therefore being wasted. A little bit of data (and a lot of planning) when it comes to meals really goes a long way! (Thanks @justinmclarke for incessantly pushing me to try MyFitnessPal. My rule of thumb for working out while doing a cleanse: Listen to your body! I woke up this morning feeling good so I pressed play. I opted for lighter weights and finished the workout strong 💪🏻 it’s day 2 of my 3 day cleanse and I’m already feeling a difference. Now, if you don’t hear from me, I likely fell asleep 😂
