If I’m being completely honest today as just one of those days. One of those days where you don’t want to do anything and lock yourself in your room and not go outside. * * That was me today. I’m sore. I’m tired. I’m this and that and honestly I go could on. But I’m choosing to focus on all the positive things today instead of focusing on all the negative. * * I think I’m just having a hard time balancing everything. I have s confession the last time I went 110% in a workout program was a year ago and I’ve decided that I better go 110% in another one this year. * * My body is already going through so many changes. Experiencing soreness (which is a new feeling for me, I haven’t felt like this in a year). My mindset is changing and I’m growing as a person. So many changes are happening and I’m not too sure how to deal with them all at one time. * * I know that these changes are good and I know they will benefit me in the long run. But for now everyday I’m going to choose to focus on the positive instead of focusing on the negative. * * What’s one new change that you’re going through!?

Since everyone is doing the 10 years challenge I decided to only take it back five years bc ten years ago I was literally 11 and I looked like a baby😂 . I chose a pic from the hardest time in my life. A time when I was bingeing, starving myself, and working out incredibly inconsistently while trying to deal with a couple of really tragic incidents which left me v scarred. My mental health game over the past few years has been an absolute roller coaster but with the help of dedicating myself to my fitness journey, I have made leaps and bounds in the right direction both mentally and physically. . Forever thankful for the daily opportunity to better myself and push my limits xx

@benedicte_kh caught this while we were trying to find the good lighting yesterday & well, I kinda like how my butt looks so here ya go 🍑 I’ve gained about 6,5-7 kg (~15 lbs) since I stopped cutting in August, and my body is responding very well to it. The Swiss bar, sometimes referred to as the football bar or multi-grip bar, is a very popular piece of equipment for building strength. Not only does the Swiss bar help you get strong, but it also improves training variety and it’s great for those with shoulder/upper extremity issues. 1️⃣It’s a Shoulder Saver One of the biggest reasons people buy a Swiss bar is because it’s easier on the shoulders. I’d venture a guess that most of us have dealt with some sort of shoulder pain in our lives. Perhaps some have undergone major surgeries to repair damage caused by lifting or possibly trauma. Considering I was dealing with some shoulder discomfort at the time on straight bar bench, I picked up a Swiss bar to take the pressure off. Due to the fact the bar itself offers angled or truly neutral grips, it puts the shoulder in a less compromised position. In doing so, it provides an opportunity to recover while also still stimulating muscle growth. Sometimes it helps to completely rest from an injury, but if your body will allow it, it’s extremely beneficial to work around an issue. The Swiss bar is a great way to work around an injury. 2️⃣It’s Very Versatile Although the Swiss bar is commonly thought to be a tool for benching, its training application is actually much more comprehensive. You can use a Swiss bar in a number of ways. Take a look at this list, highlighting some of the popular/possible movements: Bench Press Floor Press JM Press Shoulder Press Front Lateral Raise Back Rows Inverted Back Rows (Place on Rack Safeties) Clean and Press Stiff Legged Deadlift Triceps Skull Crushers/Extensions Hammer Curls Chin Ups (Place on top of Rack) Push Ups (Place on Rack Safeties) The great thing about the Swiss bar, aside from the numerous movements, is that there are multiple grips. Tried a different vantage point so @samhallstrength wouldn’t just observe and criticize my ankles. Piggy backing off my other post, gotta show those squats for snow and let it fall hard, especially in Japan! Second set of 5 shown here with 330 on the bar. I’ve really tried to slow down the eccentric to continue to working on tensigrity and shock my system as I haven’t put enough time into eccentrics as of late. Every week goes up, every set as well (thank you micro plating) as I finished with 337 for my fifth set. Total volume increase of 125 lbs compared to last week.
