Some of you may have noticed I had a mini-hiatus over the past two or so months... and with good reason. Gym was a place where I felt mentally exhausted and overweight, I felt my goals were unachievable and the negativity consumed me. These past few months have been spent doing a few things: gaining weight, learning about myself and accepting myself and finally just doing small things to make myself feel happy. All of these have been mentally challenging, especially on those days when showering or brushing my teeth was too exhausting to think about. This week is my new start - taking care of my diabetes, getting back to gym, practicing self care, self love and self confidence daily and achieving mini goals to show myself I can do this. With all of this being said, I’m proud to say that I’m back. Starting slow, but on the way to great things and a kinder and more loving self.
