For 5 uger siden sagde min krop stop, den ville ikke det min hjerne mente vi skulle. Min krop overtog kontrollen og lagde mig ned. Jeg mistede kontrollen til selv at bestemme. Når jeg ville bestemme endte jeg med voldsom hjertebanken og følte ikke jeg kunne trække vejret - panikanfald. Anyone else suffer from anxiety induced tremors? I’ve had this problem for years now & it’s so frustrating! It gets so bad sometimes that I can’t even hold a glass to take a drink! I’ve done some research but haven’t been officially diagnosed, everything just fits. I’m more aware now so I really need to focus on ways to fix this, relaxation techniques, I don’t want any more medication, so I need to really concentrate on ways to destress. Most of the time it just sneaks up on me & I have no clue it’s going to happen. I will just wake up & then bam! the tremors start up. Instead of grabbing for (more) caffeine, I hop onto the back patio and MOVE MY BODY. I’ve noticed my hips + back are less achy (where I tend to hold stress), my energy increase, and most importantly I’m able to approach these full days with a clear mind + heart, instead of a cranky victim to the stress. . . Also on the list this week— researching infrared light therapy (have you seen @joovvsocial ?), learning some new #breathwork techniques, and I just started a bible study at our church (coffee + child care plus time with #jesus? SIGN ME UP!) . . For me it’s always a choice between surrendering to the chaos or choosing joy— it can get overwhelming especially when I begin to think of my to do list around here lately. Anxiety is something I have always battled, but these tools have helped me live in peace + gratitude instead. It’s like I get to take my power back, whenever I want. 💪🏼🙏🏼 . . It's my 4th week back at work after having a glorious 13 months maternity leave. I cannot stress how quickly the months went by I'm still in shock myself! Getting out the house with 3 kids in the morning on time is stressful and never simple. There's always at least one child screaming, one child taking off their clothes and one child needing to go to the toilet as we're about to walk out the door. The battle with the traffic is a another whole scenario, by the time I get to work it feels like I've been through a storm. These five tips will take you through how to identify, manage and outsmart emotional eating: 1) Identify the emotional eating- The next time you reach for a sugary snack or a packet of crisps, stop. Ask yourself, ‘Am I really hungry?’ Wait for 20 minutes and see how you feel. 💭 2) Get to the root of the matter- If you have identified the feelings, the next step is to work out what causes them. Has a particular event upset you, making you reach for chocolate? 🍫 3) Make a positive change- If you know the root cause (or causes) of your emotional eating, you can take positive steps to break the cycle. #redjanuary : Day 16 - Evening Run 🏃🏻‍♂️ ♥️ I finished today strong with a fairly easy-going run. With going back to work recently I had taken today off to allow myself and my body to recover so have not done a huge amount by my high standards. It’s important to rest when you need to, but I also know what is good for my mind... and what is good for my mind is to finish the day with a short run. I prefer to run either early in the morning or later in the evening because these are the times of day when I struggle the most mentally. Running is a form of therapy for me.. it allows me to unwind, let go, and burn off any negative energy. I always feel so much better after a run - even the shorter ones. Today my mind completely drifted off and has inspired me to write something this evening. It’s amazing how your mind can drift off in to the strangest places. Running/Exercise can do that - it can inspire creativity and deeper thinking as well as being a good distraction from the stresses of day-to-day life! I am now going to start work on writing..
