After a 3km run this morning (for my #spitfire100k100days challenge) I decided to also partake in lunchtime circuits!! FML!!!!!! It was HONKING in the BEST way!!!! Today was one of those I just need to make it through this workout days. And I made it and don’t feel too bad. I will definitely be feeling it tomorrow but I have to work out then and on Monday, so I will just have to rest it out on Tuesday. All the sweat today 💦 I used to be a gym rat. I typically went to the gym when I had time or had enough energy after school. I never had a set schedule and I wasn’t very consistent. I liked going to the gym but I always hated how everyone knew me!! I never got anything done and spent half my time talking!! Does that happen to you? Then I would hate to get super sweaty because I thought I would look bad. I was always intimidated by all the weight lifters. Always felt they were looking at me and thinking how I had no idea what I was doing. When I workout from home I don’t care what I look like and I don’t have to pick out the perfect workout clothes. I can get as sweaty as I want and I have a personal trainer now telling me my schedule each day and how to lift properly. I have a schedule now and I’m able to keep it because it works for me. I don’t have to spend time driving to the gym or getting ready. Most importantly I don’t have to leave my kids!!! I’m not telling you to leave the gym but BOD is a great way to supplement your gym membership. What do you do on the other days you’re not at the gym? I tell my kids at school to get 60 minutes of exercise a day. Are you getting your 60 minutes? If you want results, you might have to make a change in your schedule and make a change in your life. As your personal coach I can help you do that. Hit me up if you can relate to anything of this. I know I’m not alone. Everyone in my accountability group was there too but together we have made a change and are stronger because of it. P.S. So I’m still way off my best but FINALLY after being frustrated for months and having to plod around having shin splints I completed my first niggle free parkrun... back in the game!!! Now I can get to work and start finding my pace again!
