So following advice of going back to doing some HIIT workouts a few times a week (was meant to be doing sprints which I will try too) but today opted for a @thebodycoach Cardio HIIT. 1. 20 Sec High Knees / 40 Sec Rest 2. 20 Sec Mountain Climbers / 40 Sec Rest 3. 20 Sec Burpees / 40 Sec Rest. Repeat circuit for 5 times. It's only 15 mins but by round 3 I wanted to die 😂😷

Training has been pretty mean with the brother tuts. Train with the best. Here are 2 videos from yesterday avo training to find our max clean and jerk. 1st vid was a pb on my clean and jerk at 115 kgs And 2nd vid, I was trying to go for a clean and jerk but that didn't happen but I'm still happy with a pb squat clean at 125kgs. Something I get asked all the time is: which type of cardio is best for fat loss? 🤔 . High intensity interval training (HIIT) is becoming more and more popular. It burns more calories in a shorter period of time and you will continue to burn calories after the session has finished, however it is far more taxing on your energy levels and joints and has the potential to impact on your weight training sessions. It can also take longer to recover from. . Steady state cardio is useful in times of exhaustion and preserving energy. It is not strenuous to complete and generally does not impact on weight training. It does take longer to burn an equivalent amount of calories, however it can actually assist with recovery. . My advice? One is not necessarily better than the other and both have their advantages and disadvantages. The form you choose is purely dependent on personal preference! . My rare cardio sessions are usually steady state but I like mixing it up with the occasional HIIT circuit! Result of using fade out by @redcon1 it works. Knocked me the fk out and woke up refreshed like i slept for years! Remarkable! Thanks to it i made it to gym.
