As I said earlier in my latest posts free weights are barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and disks that are not supported by cables, pulleys, pins and weights stack. Their main advantage is that you can use them for the huge variety of different exercises and extended ROM. In oppose to machines they don’t leave you stabilizing muscle aside, require balance and coordination skills. The main downfall they have is that you really need to have good form and technique in order to avoid injuries. Body weight exercises like push ups or squats require nothing but your body which you use as resistance. Because they are so simple it’s easy to prevent injuries. If you are new to lifting you definitely should start from body weight exercises. They are also incredibly easy to modify to a next level either if you are a new trainee or a professional athlete. This is one of the best ways to built great physics. #toronto_insta#canada#canada🇨🇦#torontofitness#toronto#gymtime💪#gymrats#gymlifestyle#gymtime#gymgirl#gymday#gymflow#gymaddict#getfit#fitspiration#fitsporation#fitstagram#sport#personaltraining#fitnesstrainer#girl#girls#trainer#trainer#businesswoman#tip#health#healthyliving#healthjourney#healthygirl#health#

The tricep is a muscle that extends elbow joint. There are a few exercises you can use to train it. You only need a couple of dumbbells in order to do that 😃

Why can’t you do the same exercises over and over and need to change your workout program? There is a phenomenon called “adaptive resistance”. It happens when you do the same kind of exercises all the time and your body gets used to it, it mean the exercise benefit decreases. The less experienced you are the less adaptive resistance you have. It means you need to practice more in order to perfect the exercise. The more advanced you are the more frequently you need to rotate exercises to thwart adaptive resistance.

Cardio exercise is any exercise that raises your heart rate. Heart is a muscle and as any other muscle in order to keep it strong we need to work it or move it. Stronger cardiovascular system means more capillaries deliver more oxygen to cells. This speeds up all the processes in your body, such as delivery of nutrients and taking away the by-product of cells activities. As a result metabolism increases and more calories got burned.

Does it matter what exercises should come first in your workout or not? Order matters or you can just arrange them randomly? Apparently it does matter. And the general rules are: 1. Exercises for big muscles should come before exercises for small muscles 2. Compound exercises should come before isolation 3. Free weights before machines When It make sense slightly deviations are allowed, but these are general rules. #toronto_insta#canada#canada🇨🇦#torontofitness#toronto#gymtime💪#gymrats#gymlifestyle#gymtime#gymgirl#gymday#gymflow#gymaddict#getfit#fitspiration#fitsporation#fitstagram#sport#personaltraining#fitnesstrainer#girl#girls#trainer#trainer#businesswoman#tip#health#healthyliving#healthjourney#healthygirl#health#

So why is everyone saying breakfast is the most important meal of the day? 🍳☕️ A healthy breakfast fuels you with the energy for the rest of the day and makes you eat less later on. Studies show that breakfast stimulates you metabolism more than eating the same meal in the evening. People who eat breakfast have more energy, do better in school/work and eat healthier throughout the day. Without it they usually get irritable and tired.

Add some intensity to your workout. Jumping and whole body exercises. Burns fat better than running 😁

Why sleep is so important?? Your body is primed to build muscle two times a day—right after your workout and during deep sleep. With the right meal or supplement before bed, you can get stronger. The reason for that is, your body releases its biggest surge of growth hormone during REM (the night sleep that characterizes by rapid eye movement, more bodily moving and dreaming and faster pulse and breathing).

TRX workout for upper body. Requires some extra core strength and stability. Also a good alternative for bicep curls 💪🏻

Side bends is another exercise that should also be avoided by ladies because the only thing it does is bulks and widens the waist, and doesn’t help to get rid of love handles. In order to get rid of love handles you need to fix your nutrition and work your obliques (lots of rotational movements will help).

Shoulder shrugs is an exercise that should be avoided by women because it develops and strengthens the traps, which is great for men. But for ladies it makes their back appear more rounded and muscular.

Use TRX in your trainings. It uses body weight and develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. 😄 to be continued upper body exercises......

Why is it important to drink water while working out? 💦 If you are not hydrated you might not be able to perform at the highest level. You may also feel tired, dizzy, or have muscle cramps or other symptoms. The reason for that is that water helps to transport nutrients that give us energy, it also regulates our body temperature and lubricates our joints.

Compound vs isolated Isolation exercises are single joint movements that are meant to isolate one muscle group. Typically it involves curling, raising or extending, such as bicep curls, leg extension, lateral raises. Compound exercises are multi joint movements, and involve the movement of more than one major muscle. They target one major muscle group but also involve several smaller muscle secondarily. The examples of compound exercises are pulling, pushing, deadlifting or squatting.

What is the difference between abs and core? Abs exercises such as crunches, or crunches with twists mostly work muscles of rectus abdominus and obliques also known as the washboard abs. Core muscles (also called “anatomical belt” or “corset”) consists of diagram, pelvic floor, lumbar multifidus (a muscle located along back of the spine and stabilizes it), transverse abdominus (the inner layer of the abdominal muscles that holds inner organs together like a corset). It can be trained by all variations of planks, V- sit ups, mountain climber, hanging leg raise, dead bug. #toronto_insta#canada#canada🇨🇦#torontofitness#toronto#gymtime💪#gymrats#gymlifestyle#gymtime#gymgirl#gymday#gymflow#gymaddict#getfit#fitspiration#fitsporation#fitstagram#sport#personaltraining#fitnesstrainer#girl#girls#trainer#trainer#businesswoman#tip#health#healthyliving#healthjourney#healthygirl#health#
