STRONG TO THE CORE What is by far the most important important muscle group to train? Where should my muscle training start if im new to lifting? Hands down without a doubt aside from our brain and heart the most important muscle group you want to strengthen is your core muscles (abdominals) see aside from everyone wanting sexy abs and them being aesthetically appealing they also serve as your body's foundation when it comes to lifting weights and surprisingly enough even enhances and improves cardio endurance and performance. Lifting weights isnt all about brute strength , nope its also a balancing act and without a strong core this balancing act is increasingly difficult. Strengthening your core will enhance your bodies ability to stabilize and balance therefore making it much easier to properly lift weights without risking injury and poor form. Once you conquer stability and balance you will be shocked how much heavier and more easily your able to increase the weight your able to lift!, if lifting isnt your thing or your just looking to enhance your cardio you should also make your core a priority, see when we run our body requires stability and balance this is achieved through our core muscles. When our core muscles are weak we tend to over compensate through arm and hands to balance, this slight compensation will lead to fatiguing much quicker because your body has to work much harder to keep you balanced.
