It's #chestday ladies and gentlemen. The first video is a set of 3 at 235. The second is a set of 3 at 245. The third video is a set of 2 at 250, because I failed on the 3rd rep (had to set it on the posts and slide out, it was embarrassing, glad nobody saw it, that part of the video has been deleted). I'm not happy with my bench press. It seems I'm not gaining like I have with deads and squats. Anyway, for wimping out on bench press, I beat myself on the rest of the workout. Incline dumbbell presses, 3 sets of 12 at 60, 65, and 70 lbs followed with lateral raises for 3 sets of 15 with 25 lbs then a drop set of 10 at 15 lbs and a second drop set of 10 with 5 lbs. Cardio for the day was 30 minutes on an elliptical with rapid high-change intervals. Nobody can say I didn't put in work, the Rorschach blot on my @fitnessandhustle shirt proves it. Guess who's going to ironman 70.3 worlds championship in Nice ? 🤩🌏✈ This weekend's race in Mont-Tremblant was totally unreal. I did my PB with a final time of 5hrs01. Finished 7th/80 in my AG and 22/900 amateur women. It was enought for my boyfriend and I to grab two spots for worlds. Compromise. Some salads now for all you can eat on vacation, later. You might lose some butt to get rid of the gut but it’s okay. ☑️Sistemas de funcionamiento e interrelación de las fascias 📚👍 ▶️Hablamos muy a menudo de las fascias musculares, de hecho en nuestro posteo de acortamientos musculares ( te recomiendo leer el post) le brindamos un gran protagonismo, ya que eran las principales responsables en permitir que la fibra muscular se estire, pero ¿Qué son las fascias realmente? 🤔 ▶️La fascia muscular es una membrana que rodea a los músculos individuales y grupos de músculos, siendo una envoltura de tejido conjuntivo que realiza un número importante de funciones, incluyéndose el recubrimiento y el aislamiento de uno o más músculos. 💪 ▶️Fascia generalmente se considera a una estructura pasiva que transmite la tensión mecánica generada por los esfuerzos musculares o las fuerzas externas a través del cuerpo 💪. De hecho varias investigaciones sugieren que la fascia puede ser capaz de contratar de manera independiente y por lo tanto influir activamente en la dinámica del músculo. La función de la fascia muscular en definitiva es la de reducir la fricción para minimizar la reducción de la fuerza muscular, pero además; ✔️ Proporcionan un ambiente de deslizamiento para las fibras musculares. ✔️ Permiten sostener los órganos en su lugar apropiado. ✔️Ayudan a transmitir el movimiento de los músculos a los huesos. ✔️Proporcionan una envoltura de apoyo y que puede moverse para los nervios y los vasos sanguíneos a medida que pasan a través y entre los músculos, entre otras funciones más. 📚 ▶️Respecto del sistema de interrelaciones que permiten que las fascias musculares cumplan su función correctamente tenemos: al sistema circulatorio, sistema nervioso y a los receptores mecánicos, estos sistemas permiten; ✔️Hacer circular la sangre y la linfa por los lugares más remotos del cuerpo. ✔️Nutrir, oxigenar y recolectar desechos metabólicos. ✔️Movilizar líquidos hacia el espacio intersticial. ✔️ Reaccionar ante la estimulación mecánica, ya sea por presión o tensión y variar el tono muscular. Killed it with seated shoulder presses after training to failure with flat bench press and incline bench press. 💪 First time doing seated press and it felt good! 🙌 Did 2 sets of 10 95, set of 14 135 failure, set of 17 95 rear delt press, set of 15 rear delt press, and a set of 20 95. 🤘 Happy with how this went because I had an issue in my arms for a while after doing these awhile back. Zero issues with it today! 🙏

If you’re going through a tough time right now my advice is to keep going . Whether it be depression , addiction, anxiety or stress... whether you’ve lost your job, lost a relationship, relapsed to an addiction or simply struggle to get out of bed for the day... keep going . Allow yourself to feel the struggle, allow yourself to feel the pain, allow yourself to go through the tough time, allow yourself to feel weakness, hurt & pain. This is all normal, you are human, you are a person and it’s ok . If you embrace the tough moments and allow yourself to feel these things rather than suppress them, then you are on the path to find your way. Not to how you were before these things, but a new you, a better you . The reason for this is & you should remind yourself of this daily; is that character is not found or built in success. The character of a person is developed by how they deal with there hardest moments in life. The moments that are the easiest to give up in. To be able to fight through those and not let them defeat you, this is where your character is built & why you will come out a better & stronger person..🙏🙏🦍 . #behumble #humpday
