Suitcase Deadlift. If you are the one with poor hip mobility but you still want to enjoy the benefits of deadlifting then suitcase Deadlift can be the perfect solution. It will strengthen your hamstring, glutes, quads, abs, obliques, delts and grip strength.

You see that roll I’m pointing at?! I used to be able to hide/hold my cell phone in there you it would be secured. How unhealthy. You know what else is unhealthy? Not being able to go up 6 stairs or get up off the floor without the help or a piece of furniture. If you’re doing it to be “skinny” that isn’t healthy either. Not physically or mentally. Don’t let the number on the scale determine who you are, that’s only your pull to the earth. Let your energy determine your health. Let your strength determine your health, let your confidence determine your health, let your drive to obtain optimal health and wellness determine your health, let ANYTHING else but looking skinny determine your health. Weight loss is a cool bonus but it isn’t everything. I for sure enjoy being 70 pounds lighter but it isn’t everything. It’s the smile I rock feeling good that I take care of myself is. I have been overweight for 22 years before taking my health and wellness into consideration. As much one one would think that all the weight should or could be off in almost 5 years, it isn’t. I like pizza and tacos and I’m blessed to have something to celebrate at least every month. The weight will come off bc I’m consistent with eating clean and training mean. I’ve always been one to have weight problems, can’t wait to eat. I remember hitting rock bottom and deciding to turn it around. Not with fad diets and temporary solutions like shakes, but making a choice of changing my lifestyle completely. It took some dedication,self control and more importantly TIME! Happy Friday!! Anyone else feeling like where tf did this week go?? 😳. January is already flying by and with all the fun things coming up the next few months, 2019 will be gone faster than it came 😭. Stress has been pretty high this week because #adulting, but just trying my best to take deep breaths 😌 and get my yoga in at least 1x a week! 🧘🏼‍♀️. One thing they stress in yoga that I think is SO important is how you treat yourself and how that reflects how you treat others. Back at it again with biceps and triceps. It’s important to try and vary your workouts.
